Hello, I have a HP Pavilion a6519fh PC with a dead card mother IPIBL-LB (Benicia) - form factor Micro ATX 24.4X24.4cm before replacing with that I would like to know if someone has upgraded to a new mobo that I can replace the old?

I have a 400w power supply, an Intel core 2 duo E6700 processor and a graphics card GT 640 that were on the old mobo that I hope that I can still use. Thanks for any advice.

If I were you, I would buy one of these motherboards in ebay.  Because the computer is more than 7 years old, I would not spend too much money on it.  Buy the original motherboard can assure that it will work without problem.

  • Pavilion a6220n: updated my BIOS after Windows 7 is already installed

    Hello.

I bought an a6220n Pavilion in 2008 because he was very progressive.  In 2010, I updated the video card with an ATI Radeon 4770 and upgraded to 4 GB of RAM.

Recently, I backed up all my stuff and restored the computer to factory settings.  I installed 8 GB of RAM. Then I started Windows 7-64 bits of an installation disc.

So now Windows 7-64 bit is up and running.  I think so.  Internet seems to be very slow.   It recognizes the 8 GB of RAM and video card, video card driver, and other system drivers are up to date.

I want to spend my CPU to a Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33 Ghz, but in order to do this, I'll probably have to update my BIOS.   But when I try to update my BIOS Installer tells me this:

Or is the BIOS of Windows 7-compatible Windows Vista?  If this is not the case, where can I get the version of Windows 7?

    Jj3down, welcome to the forum.

You can only update the BIOS to the operating system that came with the computer.  In your case, Vista.  This means that you need to perform a system recovery to return the computer to its original configuration.

  • HP Pavilion G070ca: update graphic card

I'm just curious to know what graphics cards I can install in my laptop. I have the 17-inch HP pavilion G070ca laptop, it uses a processor intel I7-5500u and a nvidia GT940m. I would like to probably the 970 or 980 just wanting to know if people are compatiable with my laptop

    Hello:

There is no removable or stretch graphics card in your laptop.

Nvidia GT940m GPU is integrated to the motherboard and the only way to update the graphics would be to replace the motherboard together with one of those enrolled in the service manual for your laptop model that may have better graphics.

It would be a very costly intensive project work.

Better sell your laptop and one with the graphic solution you want to get.

  • 550-111na Pavilion: motherboard

Hi I have HP pavilion 111na 550 and want to update my chart, but I need a new power supply, I was just wondering if the motherboard that I would survive a new diet that is higher that the one 180w i have now? The motherboard I have is now called the Orchid3 who already came with the office. Thank you

    AGray1810

The total power output is not serious because it is only a concern when you need graphics cards power who aspire a lot of power.  The motherboard will draw any power he needs, regardless of the side.

The biggest concern is the power connector on the motherboard and the power supply cable corresponding to the PSU.  They came in 20 pin and 24-inch versions.  The Orchid3 has 24-pin Socket.  So both the PSU power cable has a connector 24 pin, you will be OK.

All the latest power supplies will have 24-pin connectors.

Here is a link to the HP page for this motherboard: http://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04783128

    Good luck

  • HP Pavilion a6020a update

    Hello

A few years ago, I bought a hp Pavilion a6020a pc. After a few moments, I made some necessary updates.

I have a 9500gt video card installed to replace the graphics card integrated because igfx issue and then upgraded the ram to 2 then 4 GB. then, I upgraded the 3.2 cpu to a dual core e4300 and recently replaced the power supply with a corsair vx450 after the hp unit factory didn't I also replaced the rear case fan who does not with a unit of noctua. with the introduction of windows 7, I would go through and replace the card mother livermore and cpu with a mother of socket 1156 p55 asus and an i3 530 or 550 intel cpu. new hd burner and sata dvd.

My question is can I make these upgrades and everything while retaining all the leitmotiv case. are all connections, audio, card readers, button / stop expansion bay etc all be universal. or do I have to use only a motherboard factory.

the motherboard I'm considering is an Asus P7H55D - M EVO can it be done.  If this is not the case, there is a hp replacement motherboard available 1156.

    Thank you for your help.

    Kind regards.

    Yoshimurra

I do not think that HP offers this kind of thing, but one of the possibilities is that the PC was made for long enough that HP did a upgrade motherboard along the way, or a top of the range of this basic model version was made, it would be hard to research and know well.

  • G7-1261NR AMDA4 - 3300M Pavilion: motherboard compatibility / level

    I have a Pavilion g7-1261NR with AMD A4 Processor - 3300 M Llano FS1 QE310UA #ABA

For some reason, all of the 3 USB ports do not work, and no solution Support HP will fix them.

So I have to replace the motherboard apparently. That being said, my question is: what is the best motherboard to the g7 that will fit in my laptop and accept my processor?

My wife has a model completely different g7, and I have swapped out the motherboard too, while I say g7 all seem to have the same internal dimensions, indicating motherboards are compatible across different models. If I have to replace mine, I might well have best out there for a few dollars more than a direct replacement for my current model.

    Thank you!

    Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

Best motherboard for AMD A-series processors would be this one:

For use only with the computer models equipped with the AMD A60M chipset and a graphic subsystem with 1024 MB discrete video memory 649950-001

It has the best dedicated video chip. ATI HD6470M. Now you have just the graphics that are integrated into the processor.

It won't make a big difference between this and your motherboard in terms of features or performance. If you want to improve performance, you must also upgrade the processor and your top options are an A8 - 3500M. They are not expensive, given the limited demand for AMD processors. It would still be a noticeable uprade.

The announcement for the motherboard ebay does not G7, but it's the same card mother, just used in a lot of different models. Post back with more questions. If you just stick with the image on the hard drive you will get a Windows not genuine message and may need to reinstall Windows 7.

  • Pavilion P6680D: updated graphics card

I have a HP Pavilion p6680d desktop computer and I was thinking about upgrading my graphics card to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 motherboard: Iona-GL8E MS-7613.

It fits and what I need to change the power supply to operate.

    Hello @Kyukyumii,

    Thanks for the quick response!

Unfortunately, I can't make recommendations about these products.  Generally, most of the gaming graphics cards, will have PCI Express 2.0 or higher.  There is always a chance that you will experience reduced performance, based on your hardware.  I hope this helps.

    Kind regards!

  • 6000 pro SFF: motherboard update

Hi, I know this question has been asked (a lot), but I want to improve my motherborad because I have an old pc and it runs slowly and trying to catch up to 10 Windows.

Y at - it an update of the motherboard to make my computer faster? Perhaps you could leave the other motherboard name. Or maybe what I need is a CPU upgrade

Thanks a lot for taking the time...

    @jumper77, welcome to the forum.

(There are several things that you should take into account during the upgrade of the motherboard: 1) the form factor of the mobo.  This is to ensure that the accessory in the case will match the holes of the mobo. (2) making CPU (Intel or AMD).  This will ensure that your CPU/processor will work 3) type and the speed of the memory.  This will ensure that your memory will work with the new mobo and 4) connectors in the case must matcn those on the mobo.  HP has their mobos made to their specifications.  Thus, the connectors can be owners.  You can choose the mobo manufacturer and contact their Technical Support to see if they can tell you if it is compatible.

  • P7-1534: motherboard update

    Hello!

I want to improve my motherboard because I bought a CPU but the p7-1534 motherboard socket is not compatible, so I want to update the motherboard. But, the problem is that if I update the motherboard I want to continue to use the Windows operating system I have. Help, please!

    Thank you!

    Hello jacob51697 ;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I read your message on the transfer of the operating system to a different motherboard and wanted to help.

Sorry to say this, but this is not possible.  The PC you bought came with a HP OEM OS preinstalled, and who is allowed to the machine.  When you change some motherboards, you change machines and this license cannot be used anymore.

And, because the product key for this license is embedded in the original motherboard UEFI firmware, there is no way to recover it using the second card of mother, anyway.

You can contact the HP customer support to see if they can do anything your in this situation:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

  • Pavilion DV7: update drivers

I'm trying to make sure I have the drivers for my laptop Pavilion DV7.  HP Support Assistant says there is no update, yet online support.hp.com returns a long list of drivers that have been updated in the last two months.  Are the release dates or dates, the installed drivers have been updated on my computer?

I am running Windows 7 64 bit.  I don't plan to upgrade to Windows 10.

    Thank you.

The steps described in the following Internet link could solve the problem with network of sleep mode problem:

HP has not tested your system for Windows 10 and will release all the drivers for your model for Windows 10.

  • HP Pavilion video update

I have a HP Pavilion a6600z desktop bought around 2009.

In 13 months of operation, the machine is dead / may not start.  It was determined that my added on 7200LE video card had burned.  The machine has been put on hold for a year or two, but is now in use by default motherboard running video.

I would like to add another video card to get the improved display of fonts.  However, the video slot and the slot for my Sound Blaster card are adjacent to each other and there is no game for video cards with the fan on the right side of the Board.

I am also concerned by a sufficient power for the video card as the power supply on the Pavilion is only 250 watts. I suspect maybe that's why the first map failed (that and insufficient ventilation).

Any suggestions on a low demand video card that would fit into the space?  I no longer make games and simulations (devil, at the age of 71 I have to slow down a bit).  The alternative is to give the Pavilion to local schools and buy a new/heavy deskktop.

I understand that you want to add a dedicated video card, but it doesn't have enough room to do so due to the slot of the sound card.

The image below should be for this system.

Most audio cards should be in the white slot that should provide more than enough space (even for a card that takes up two slots).  As an industry standard, you should be able to hold a single card slot in the slot of the video card. Even with a card into the PCIe X 1 slot, you should be able to hold at least a single slot video card in the system.  The next card should work with industry standard specifications.  You would need to upgrade food more likely, although a 400-500W should meet and exceed the needs of the video card for your application.
