  • Error 80070103 - Intel HD 4400 graphics driver

    Separated from this thread.

This update fails every day (same error) but it started as an optional update, now update the lists as a major (?).  I have tried different sections of MS Help, downloads (etc) looking for an update "Intel HD Graphics 4400 driver update for Windows 8.1" (he keeps taking me to Windows 10 information about download, & the "More information" link for this update takes me for a Virgin MS-Unit hardware support page that says "pilot information coming soon") (, which he said to ~ > 2 mos, now)... but I still just short in my own back to hunt me in circles.  I ran the MS Troubleshooter on Win Update, which Said it fixed a few errors, but doesn't understand well what has been "fixed". The dnld still fail ECode w/same... 80070103.

I tried to go to the website of Intel itself but for some God-only-knows-reason, even if I put the site in my list of "Trusted" & enable everything (even the non secure functions/EGP/downloads) IE11 won't let me "use" of the site * EXCEPT * I turn OFF Enhanced Protected Mode {EMP} to Trusted Sites... ! I found that turning off this "EPM" will allow many things/sites actually functions work (for example all msg writing functions on this page - usually, it don't will not let me highlight, bold or italic), instead of the entry-up IE & forcing me to re-start/retrieve the Web page, but I'm far from certain that way to use our computer , AND we have been unsuccessful, get a download from the Intel website in any case. (!??).

In any case, the version of the driver is currently 10.18.14.4264 as dated 04/08/2015 and our screen works well today so I don't feel as if we are in a 'imminent danger '. It would be good to know why * this update is not properly updated (.. .and why EPM causes functions all sites, even it's own *, does not work... but that's another problem [surprise]! ) though.

Sorry for the long, stretched 'me '. Guess I got a little carried away.

    Kind regards

    Zac

  • Windows 7 repeated Instal Fail Intel Graphics 4400

I feel a lot of frustration at the failure of an update for Intel Graphics 4400; The error code is 80070103.

Does Nom for months. When I stopped he tries once again to install the same. There is a long list of fails in the list update for Windows. I'd be happy with any solution including just stop this sequence to occur.

It is a bad update.  Start windows Update.  When he arrives with the list, right-click on it and choose hide.

Chances are very slim that you need for an update to this driver.  If you want to check, first go to your site to support OEM (your computer manufacturer) and check if there is a new driver.  Second, you can go to the Intel driver update utility and check.

Under no circumstances should use you one of these myriads of web sites that offer drivers.  They are false and can damage your system.

  • Satellite Pro P300 - how to upgrade Intel GM965 display driver?

    Hello

I do not found how can I update my graphics driver from the Web from Toshiba website. I found some other updates, but not this one...

And I have a problem with a game (Starcraft II) with "igxprd32" which seems to refer to the Intel Graphics accelerator driver.

When I go to the update site Intel it tells me:
"A custom computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver Update utility is not able to update the driver. Install a generic Intel driver instead of the driver from the computer manufacturer custom can cause technical problems. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer. "

Thanks in advance for your help

    Concerning

    (Satellite Pro P300)

    Hey,.

I had the same problem on my Satellite Pro U300 but it of easy to solve.

Go to Device Manager, right click on your graphics card. Select Update driver and follow the instructions in a new window. Select the Advanced installation where you can choose the directory and the driver yourself.

But don t forget to extract the zip first, otherwise the driver will not be found. ;)

  • Compatibility of the Intel HD Graphics Driver for HP Pavilion p6330f

To run Movie Maker 2 software Microsoft, he need the Version of the graphics driver Intel HD 8.15.10.2555 , released October 19, 2011.  My Pavilion p6330f is a Nr AY022AA #ABA and serial number is {deleted personal information}.  The vehicle has currently released 8.15.10.2119 Intel HD Graphics driver April 21, 2010 installed.

My question is whether or not this driver update would be compatible in my p6330f which has 6 GB of RAM and a 1 GB system drive.

The main features of this driver are:

    1. it is compatible with the Intel Core i3 processor

    2. the B43 Intel G41, G43 and G45 Chipsets

    3. it requires at least 1 GB of RAM

I believe that my system meets all of these requirements but specific Intel that HP may have made a few changes that would make this driver does not work.

What's the verdict?  Can I use this driver to launch Movie Maker 2 on my p6330f?

    Thank you.

    Hello:

You will immediately know if it works or not, because when you run it, it will install either or you will get an error of incompatibility, and the installation will stop.

However, according to the specifications of the chipset of the motherboard of your PC, the driver will have to work on the Intel H57 Express chipset.

Therefore, if it is for Intel B43, G41, G43, and G45 chipsets, it won't be compatible with H57 chipset.

You can try this driver from a business PC with the same chipset as yours and hope it works.

If this is not the case, try the Intel one directly from Intel.

  • x 200 7458 - BS2 Win7 64-bit - Intel GM45 Display Driver v8.15.10.1968 the update question

    Ref: Intel GM45 Display Driver for Windows 7 (64 bit) - ThinkPad R400, R500, T400, T400s, T500, W500, X 200, X200s, X 200 Tablet and X 301 / http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-73677

I've updated v8.15.10.1872 and while the draw distance has worked well (connected through my dock ban), the LCD screen works (especially the purple colors).  I was unable to roll back the driver (this option is grayed out) so I restored to a restore point prior Win and now everything is fine.

Lenovo should not offer this update until it is resolved...

OK... I reinstalled the update using my built-in monitor (not mounted in the dock) and had then fool around with the Intel graphics settings to get the external screen is displayed correctly - selected colors 'default' settings (who deplieent the issues of color) and then had to close the lid on the x 200 to get the display (1600 x 1200) resolution apply correctly on the remote monitor.

I hope that all of the settings will remain!

  • Intel Rapid Storage driver

I have two desktops Dell XPS 8700. They are both about a year. A few days ago I installed the update of anniversary of 10 windows on two of them. That seemed to go OK. I used the two pcs for a little while, after the update is complete. When I stopped the first machine, there was already an update. I chose the update and close. The next day, I was on the other pc, and after I used it for a few hours, suddenly a program does not open. I finally restarted and I might have expected, there was an update being installed. (I had this same senario happens sometimes so I wan't surprised, that is to say, things quite normally, then you will find Microsoft has eliminated a update requires a reboot, but does not tell you.) But then the trouble started. The update takes a long time and then came the login screen, but every time I tried to enter my password, the screen would freeze and it will re-start. After 5 repetitions of this, I got a black screen that says from ASR and then it went to a blue screen that says that WRkrn.sys is damaged or missing and I need a disc or a system administrator. I couldn't remember if I had created a recovery disc or where I had put. I ran to the other computer to create one, but when I started it up, exactly the same thing happened. I called Microsoft and they wanted me to them starts in safe mode, but I couldn't. Then, they had me create an ISO image. I'm sure it was the last version. I tried to repair, System Restore, etc, but nothing worked. So I got finally from a Macrium backup. But now I'm afraid of any update from Microsoft.

I watched this show on the web and some have said that the Intel rapid storage driver update fixed that problem for them. So I wonder if I should update this driver before that Microsoft is trying to push it on me once again. But how to find the right driver for my system. I searched Dell and I found one that is a 32-bit driver. He said that it also works on 64 bit systems. But is there a 64-bit driver.

How can I find what other drivers are available for my system? I have to enter my service tag?

Honestly, I got no problem with every machine since I bought it and I hate to fix it if it ain't broke.

Been a number of probs with recent updates MS causing problems like yours...

You can always go to the Intel download site and enter their driver update scanner. It will review your material and recommend the updated drivers.

  • Cannot re - install the Intel HD Graphics driver

We have a G72-B66US and started having a BSOD of igdkmd64.sys yesterday morning when running the Sims 3.  As part of troubleshooting, I wanted to reinstall the graphics driver since nothing else has changed since the previous day when it was working fine.  I found HD mistakes and that you have updated the BIOS re-installed the Sims 3, etc.

On the hp.com website, the latest driver is version 8.15.10.2189.  I downloaded from the site hp.com as sp51914 but when I run it I get "the pilot is not validated for this computer.  You can get the correct driver from the manufacturer of the computer. »

Older drivers show the same version with .sp50872, but I get the same message "not validated" during installation.

Graphics options show that 8.15.10.2189 is the correct driver version and I'm getting it to the right on the site of hp model.  The only other oddity is that the "programs and features" control panel shows version 8.15.10.2131 for 'Intel HD Graphics Driver.  I don't want to uninstall knowing I can't reinstall.

    Any ideas?  Help!

    Thank you!

  • Win 7: Intel HD Graphic Driver and HDMI

    Hello

I have a new Win 7 PC (Core 13-2120) with Intel HD graphics drivers.

At present, I use the old LCD 1366 X 786 screen without the HDMI input.

Can I know if I should get the full potential of this PC and the Intel HD Graphic Driver, I need to upgrade my LCD screen of a resolution higher with the HDMI cable?

This policy seems thick, I can know if things to the police to be thinner and sharper if I upgrade to the latest LCD with HDMI function?

    Thank you

    Low

I don't think that HDMI will give you any higher resolution.  I have a new Dell computer with a 2nd generation Intel chip which gives me the same 1366 x 768 using a 20 "monitor LCD via a VGA cable and TV of 32" using HDMI.  To get a higher resolution, you would probably need to get a discrete video card and a monitor (or TV) with a higher native resolution.  FWIW, the TV I use is 720 p, I have not tried to connect the computer to a 1080 p TV.

    Good luck.
