Gallery style XML/AS3 Lightbox - need, starting point...

I have made a slide show of the gallery before, but didn't was not as intuitive look back at it now and I want to start on this new project. I would like to convert a jQuery lightbox style gallery in a XML flash function AS3 photo gallery with categories. I don't want to code the FLA, I want separate as files.

It is a school project for my Web site. I would like to use jQuery and I have more experience with it, but this project needs a flash component. I know not if at first and looking for some tips on how and where I could find resources. I want a minimum I can do;

-8 thumbnails to a 'page/section' with more flowed on page 2 or 3 etc. (or a srcoller)

-a few buttons for categories

-images of fading in real size with a description when hovered over, and a close button

-preloader (single bar)

For something like this > http://www.layeredpixels.com/tf/unibox/#works that uses http://razorjack.net/quicksand/ for the thumbnails. It's perhaps ambitious, but I would be enough with a simple fade effect

I am not a lot of time and need to focus on other projects in the meantime so fancy (again) would really help to find a good basis without effects. I downloaded a few galleries out there but most of the code is messy or outdated.

http://www.republicofcode.com/Tutorials/Flash/as3gridgallery/8.php < it's good, but all the code is done in the FLA. I could break in UNDER form of files, but it depends. And I would like help with adding the categories to.

I want to watch Greensock implement, so any pro out there who can give advice would greatly

The best way to go is to choose a path of the solution and start about this.  Then, to get help, come with specific to solve coding problems and not a list of races of desires.

    SLIDE SHOW

    I have a slide show for my screensaver - is there a way to keep the slideshow rotation, rather than return to his moose start point? I guess what I want is an endless looping of images in the gallery when I have time... Thank you - as you can tell, I'm not good at this

    Isn't what you want eventually return for the first starting off of too - it if turns?  Do you really mean that's not displays ALL the pictures in the Gallery, but some subset and want to include the rest of them as well?  Or you're looking for a random show type who do rotate or flip at the start point, but continues to change totally randomly?

    I'm not sure that these options are possible, but I want to make sure I understand what you want before researching it.

    Thanks and good luck!

  • Starting point of the CSA

    We are deploying CSA ver5.0 in our society. I read 2 books for Cisco Press but wanted to get an idea of what real companies use as their groups. We have all the windows, all Types of desktop computers, remote desktop or Mobile and CTA. Everyone thinks it is exaggerated or under the protection of a starting point?

    The only problem we encountered so far is that the IBM portable computer touchpad driver is detected as an untrusted root kit. If someone met what I'd like to hear about your solution. TAC still works with us on this to create an exception that works.

    Thank you

    Dvergau,

    I think it is maybe too kill to a pilot group. That is where I hope you intend to start. You want to import a little, you decide what is a little, then slowly adjust and Add. What I mean is that you need to adjust these rules that block the operation. Then add a little more political and other.

    Many people have several ways of doing things. Some suggest simply use the wizard for all, many will tell you to clone all groups and modify those that don't. Cloning is a pretty smart way to keep a reference point. Yet once again, I suggest you start small and build up to the reference level.

    Regarding the rootkit, it's tough. The only way to allow the rootkits are to use the wizard. The wizard will make the hashes and application and the exception. I found a similar problem with Symantec. Leaving me the only option to disable the notification, or to add hashes on the fly.

    Hope this helps, if you need just to all creation information and politics rule. I'll help you better than I can.

    Kind regards

  • XML-20108: (Fatal Error) start of element root waited. -jdev 11.1.2.3

    Hello:

    I created a simple ADF Fusion Web app using HR schema based on the Employees table.

    I try to run contextual events and I did the following:

    Created two taskflows: TaskFlowA and TaskFlowB. TaskFlowA has a form based on the employees and TaskFlowB has a table based on the employees.

    Run the page and everything works.

    Now, in the property inspector, based on the button submit, I added a contextual event to post the event.

    Attempt to run the page again and I get a compilation error:

    \Web-INF\temp\adf\styles\cache\fusionFx-v2-1-desktop-pr245v-LTR-IE-7.0-CMP.CSS
    Error (1.1): line 1, column 1 >: XML-20108: (Fatal Error) start of element root waited.

    Ideas to prevent or correct this problem?

    Thank you very much

    As a temporary solution, you could add below lines in the xml file

  • How can I change the starting point of a path?

    It bothers me when I use brushes for a path shape/access line. Is there a function to change the starting point of race in the direction of the form/reverse of a path?

    You won't need to duplicate the path. Just select it and then change the options for this object. There is a button in the Panel forms for this.

  • Using the coordinates entered to set the starting point of a Tween

    Hello

    I have a movieclip 'pano_mc' that moves around through the movement of the mouse, there is a hotspot (hs1_mc) nested within it (which moves with the Pano_mc), I have a hs1_mc event delivery, once pressed allows me to get the x and y 'pano_mc' at the point of delivery, I need a way to use these x and y corodinates to set the starting point for the interpolation , on Pano_mc.

    Cannot use 'this' (as shown in the link above) that the event is on the hs1_mc and if I just use '_x' interpolation setting, it begins where the film is originally and not where it is when the delivery is executed, where I get the cordinates right here.

    var hotSpotTweenX:Tween = new Tween (pano_mc, "_x", mx.transitions.easing.Elastic.easeOut, 0, "400", 3, true);

    Is there a way to fill '_x' with the var newx:Number = stagePosition.x; who holds the accurate cordinate of the pano_mc at the time of the press...

    I need to be able to use the coordinates xy of the pano_mc captured by the delivery, to set the starting point of the interpolation which then tweens the movie at a predefined point... create an interpolation of seemless...

    Can anyone shed some light on this... Thanks in advance

    "_x" isn't the starting value. This is the property you're interpolation. your ' 0 'is the starting value and your '400' (which really shouldn't be in quotes) is the value of end to resolve your problem, use a variable instead of ' 0'.

    Its pretty normal for a beginner to take the time to write code. Right-click the map of waveform > Create > property node > historical data, you will get a property node, keep this at the beginning of the code and create a constant. You can also go to the VI properties and > run and select "clear indicators when it is called.

    I recommend you to go through the basic materials of LabVIEW which will give you an understanding on the basics of bases/components of LabVIEW.

  • A villain. How can I change the icon of my screen of my application GUI of an alternative starting point

    Hello

    So I have 1 app, 2 starting points. 1 point is running in the background at start-up of the device and not including any icon or gui this point listening to BlackBerry push notifications. Point 2 is on the side of my application GUI and does not run in this case. Now the point 1 receives a push message and wants to update the icon of my application to the point 2.

    Point 1 does not have an icon so net.rim.blackberry.api.homescreen.HomeScreen.setNewState (true) will not work!

    Point 1 must somehow point 2 and updated updated icon who.

    How then?

    Hello guys,.

    I use the photo gallery of WL (latest version) for some time, but one day it stopped working without remembering any important changes that might break a.

    When I try to run it, it gives this error:

    ---------------------------

    I tried to reinstall it but without success. I've also renamed the files Pictures.pdX C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Photo Gallery, but with the same result.

    Not to mention that the event log does not contain messages recorded on this subject and also the follow-up of the process with Process Monitor did not show anything that would tell me the cause of this problem...

    If someone from the Live team or an MVP watch that I can send you the output monitor process or any other information that you might find useful.

    Any other suggestions on what I can try next?

    Thank you!

    Chris

    I'm waiting for the confirmation of the guys from the Live team on this, but I've corrected this problem.

    The error came from the fact that Windows registry stalled Chronogram of some access roads network I had on my computer from a former WHS (Windows Home Server) box so basically, Windows Explorer - WL photo library was still trying reach these network paths, even if in Explorer / settings there is no references to WHS, so registry entries in neutral paths and wrong...

    Replace the data of those key in the Windows registry under the HKEY CURRENT USER corrected this problem and I was able to start WL photo library.

  • How to set the starting point of a variable width profile anchor point?

    Hello

    I have a square with a dotted on her. I can't be a variable race, so I loaded 'Width profile 2' in the profiles. The problem I'm having, is that Illustrator uses by default to start the biggest points in the lower right corner, and I would like the "starting point" to be in the middle of the line, if you know what I mean. I'm always happy for the dotted lines start big, then gradually decrease in size, but I want to control where is the "beginning".

    Hello! Sorry for the troubling.

    Please, give me an advice how to search for a number in a file xml (as3.0)

    Thank you!

    My answer was based on your question to find numbers anywhere in the data to an xml file.  If you know that the data is digital data and the names of the nodes that contains this data, you do not have to check the characters and can only check numerical data using string values...

    function searchXMLFile(Event:MouseEvent):void
    {
    searchDisplay.text = "";
    var pageList:XMLList = xmlFileToSearch.receipt.number;
    searchDisplay.text = "false";

    for (var i: int = 0; i< pagelist.length();="">
    {

    If (pageList [i] == searchInput.text) {}
    searchDisplay.text = "true";
    }

    }
    }

    Even if you are looking for individual digital characters in the previous code that you would have always done by a false exit due having the line 'false' always cancel the real line...

    If (t.toString () .indexOf (m_sSearchTerm)! = - 1).

    {

    searchDisplay.text = "true";

    }

    searchDisplay.text = "false";  This will always overwrite the textfield

    If you try to remove all the children from bottom24.gallery.content_mc.itemHolder_mc, you can use:

    {while (bottom24. (Gallery.content_mc.itemHolder_mc.numChildren>0)}

    bottom24. Gallery.content_mc.itemHolder_mc.removeChildAt (0);
