Game does not start on my Equium M50

I just bought an Equium M50-164 to run Microsoft Office. It is very good. But I'm also a fan of Sega Football Manager, and while the game installs, it will not work. I changed the graphics settings, but not success. Can anyone help?

Hello

In my view you can't expect a lot of camera performance because the graphics card with shared memory.

If you want to start the unit is there an error message? What exactly happens?

  • Game does not start.

I am owner of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic for my PC.  When my old laptop crashed I installed it on my new.  The difference is that I have Vista on a new and XP on the old.  The game keeps gives me an error of 'Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic has stopped working' and stop before you start.  The game is suitable for XP and started giving me problems because of running under Vista.   This could be the problem I have, or is there something else?

    Hi Zuma1978,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forums.

For future reference, please refer to this link for all hardware and software compatible with Windows Vista:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/

A typo in the title of the game you listed here is the list I came up with: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/Search.aspx?type=Software&s=Star%20Wars%20Knights%20of%20the%20Old%20Republic

Is your version of this game on this list? (it's several pages as long as it came with 50 shots of that name).

Most probably you get this message because the game is not compatible with Windows Vista. There seems to be a good number of games of Star Wars that are compatible with Windows Vista, you can try one of these.

Please post back let us know if this information was useful or it helped solve that issue you all so that we can help you if need be.

  • Internet Explorer and games does not start; no error message.

Hi, I had a lot of problems with my computer lately, and it's the last that I have not been able to solve.  I'm running the 64 bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium in a computer, I implemented last summer (the motherboard is an ASUS P5N - D for details).  I recently decided to bathe my HDD Seagate on fire right through a "boot and nuke" program, hoping to relieve a massive corruption of Windows file.  I had a few difficulties, reinstallation of Windows through my installation disc - is now on his third relocation, because I found myself in the limbo of the repair to start due to corrupted registry errors the first two times (although Windows went perfectly fine as a first step, the problem is presented when you restart).  On the last installation, I could run long enough to reacquire all my drivers through the internet, and I even managed to install and play a game for a while.

When I turned off my computer had 53 updates to Windows Installer.  Let them install and when I started it this morning, Windows wouldn't start.  I used the system restore, Windows and then stop again updates give a chance more (I think that they have perhaps been interrupted the first time).  Now, Windows starts correctly, but I can't run my game.  More worrying is that I can't run internet explore.  I tried MS Paint and Windows Media Player and both of these applications are running.  But in the two aforementioned applications, the pointer changes to indicate they're loading a moment and then returns to its normal appearance without loading anything or provide an unique error message.  I opened the Task Manager and watched list applications that I began them - both appear in the handler for a fraction of a second before disappearing without warning.  I have no idea what is the cause and would be very grateful some advice thereon before yielding to frustration and buy a new hard drive.  Thank you.

Go, I found to open the newspaper is to copy on your desktop (for this, you will need the Admin password) then right click to copy file and 'open with '. Use an editor, I think that the default value in the list is Notepad. Uncheck "always use" that you can't always open these log files in Notepad.

The problem is that they are not so easy to decipher.

Have a read of http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833, this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228 (for Vista but should give an idea) and http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/56234-make-cbs-log-useable.html to give an idea.

The "SFC / verifyonly" does what it says, it does and just detects and reports errors through the newspaper. You can run the command to actually verify and repair errors, but to be honest, I don't know enough about the in's and out of it. I guess it must fix the errors it finds, but I am not sure if there are disadvantages to it. Experts from the SFC SC around?

I don't think that an information event is usually nothing to worry about, its errors and warnings that can give advice to any potential problems. If you open the error/warning message there is sometimes a link goes to MS who occasionally provides assistance on what to do next. Then click on one of the errors and look for the 'more information' link.

Have you tried 3, 5, 6 of my first post, & Esp 5. It is possible that your user account is 'pickled :-) ". "rather than the whole system and creating a new test user all might be fine." It is not certain or guaranteed, but shouldn't take long to check.

It seems that something is damaged somewhere, so maybe try something else is a check disk scan. Open Explorer, right-click your HDs (one at a time), tools, and then click "error checking".

EDIT - one think more away, you have an AV Checker updated running? Start in safe mode with networking, the errors still occur then (i.e. can you open IE now)? Once in safe mode, see if you can update your AV checker and run a full scan.

  • F7 key does not work on my Equium M50-244

Hi, first time here so I hope that someone can help me
My son spilled some water on my keyboard and some keys don't work. One being my F7 key I need to be able to shed some light on my monitor.
Does anyone know another way to do this.

    Concerning

    Hello

Hmm, I guess you have already cleaned the space under the hood of the F7 key, the keys are removable, and you can easily turn it off.

But to be honest, I think that it is a malfunction that could be solved by the replacement of keyboard.

Usually the ASP should replace this keyboard, but if you have enough experience you can do it too.
The keyboard is fixed with two screws that are hidden under plastic, thin cover over the range of F1 to F12 key.
After the screws have been removed you can carefully lift the keyboard.
Notes; the keyboard is connected to the mobo with the thin cable

    Best regards

  • Sold games does not start

I recently tried to install Worms World Party and black & white on my Windows 7 PC. In both cases, installation complete very well, but when I open the game, nothing happens. The cursor shows for something to load, but after a while, the cursor returns to normal.

I had the problem with worms first, then uninstalled worms and tried B & W with the same result.

    I reinstalled several times.

I tried to run in all modes of compatibility and as an administrator.

    I tried to install the patches B & W.

When, on the [properties - compatibility] tab, select all options (run in 256 colors, etc.), then try to open the game, the display changes to match the compatibility settings, then change back to normal.

The same problem occurs both B & W and Worms, I guess that's a SoldOut software problem, rather than a specific gambling problem.

    Thanks for any help

Are these games that require the CD / DVD is inserted and remain in the drive for the game runs properly? If so, sounds like it could be related to KB3086255 maybe?

I had similar with a game I used to play, see for details check http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-gaming/kb3086255-is-this-a-half-baked-solution-or-am-i/13d4c03e-f04f-40b9-b438-e903eda3cab9 etc.. From what Ive read, some games give odd/bad mistakes that mine did, others seem to just not do anything.

A value of a control. If so, my suggested work-around (dated September 18, 2015) for my game should work as well for you.

  • AOE 2 - does not start in Windows 7

I am running AOE RIse of rome from my laptop (Dell) on Windows 7. The game does not start. I get an error message saying "could not initialize graphics system. Make sure that your video card and driver are compatible with directdraw.

    Harshab85,
This game appears to be compatible with Windows 7.  You can uninstall and reinstall just to be sure it is not a problem with the installation.  It is possible that the video drivers support hardware acceleration.  You should check with the manufacturer of the video card for the drivers updated and know if they support hardware acceleration.

    Hello!

What happens to an error you get? Please post what we can help you.

To be honest that I n don't know what you mean with clip Ribbon keyboard but if the keyboard is faulty or something else, the keyboard completely must be exchanged. You are not a unique key or something else.
If you want a new keyboard or other spare parts contact your local ASP.

    Good bye
