"game has stopped working".

I can't understand it. I've updated windows vista 32 bit. I've updated my card graphics and directx 9 drivers. I also tried to reinstall and I downloaded from different places and got the same thing. I also tried to disable DEP and run the game as administrator. I'm now ideas so any help would be great.

So basically when I run the game that instantly breaks down and a window pops up that says "game has stopped working" "windows can check online for a solution...". "and you can click on check online or close the program. There is also an arrow down for more details, click that and it says this:

Let us perform the following 4 methods and check if one of these help us resolve the issue.

Method 1.
I recommend you to run the Memory Diagnostic tool and check memory problems.

If you think that any activity of virus that I highly recommend to run the Virus Scan.
I recommend you to run online Virus Scan to remove any infections, as appropriate.

Method 3.
I would also recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the game and check.

Method 4.
We can also try to play the game in the State of clean boot and check if it works very well.
Here are the steps to do:
Clean clean boot:
1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
The user account control permission.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type
password, or click on continue.
2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load starting points.
4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
5. click on OK.
6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.
9. When you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
10. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue. On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
11. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    The problem seems to be related as a result of security Kaspersky you use. Try to disable Kaspersky and reload the game (s).

  • Games folder has stopped working all of a sudden

    Hello...

    My folder of the game has stopped working for some reason any. I mean, it was working perfectly and suddenly, all my games disappeared.

    Problems:

    1. cannot drag ANY game in the folder to create even the simplest links;

    2. no game seems to go in the Games folder of all after installing it. Only Fallout 3, but that too after it write manually using the command prompt. Will not work with other coz' I don't really know for others;

    3. even after manual registry entires, only some will appear and that too, just an icon without any kind of information. The icon is too very bad quality. Most of these managers to game such that VGEE won't even pick up one of these games;

    4. it seems to be two registry entries. Is this normal? PIC is here:

    I have already tried to disable and reactivate the control panel Games folder, have tried to create a new registry entries, tried to delete a user and create a new, tried to use software like VGEE, tried to remove the registry entries and start fresh, tried the thing 'show all files' and other things that I remember.

    What should do? How to create links in the folder?

    And please don't say pc format, coz I have over 60 games, averaged around 6 GB, larger be up to 14 GB, which I'll have to download it again and loads of other software too, some have no CD or digital download copy or such. Received more than 1 TB of files, it would be really a copy/paste of pain.

    If you experience the issue where game Launcher stops working when you try to load a game Oberon, follow these steps:
    1 left-click on start
    2 - right click on computer
    3. left-click on properties
    4. left click on advanced
    5 - running, click settings
    6 - left click on Data Execution Prevention)
    7 - click on turn on DEP for essential windows only and services programs.
    8. click on apply and then OK.

    UAC: (User Account Control)
    Open Control Panel, and then open user accounts.
    You will see the link for "turn User Account Control (UAC) or not". Until it clicks.
    Uncheck the box and restart your computer.

    I'm having the same problem.  I bought Poppit, Scrabble Deluxe and Brain Training.  They worked fine until last week when I got these error messages.  I asked for help, Oberon, and they send me to Microsoft.  I'm going, and they ship back me.  I really need these moments of relaxation.  I teach 4th grade students have 2 teenagers and take care of my two parents very, very sick.  I have very little computer knowledge.  They think it's because I'm on Vista, but why it works for one month and stop.

    Unfortunately, this is the only solution that I could find for Pogo games.  Your next step would be to contact them directly and see if they have a patch or a work-around that will set their game.  If they are able to solve the problem, please post here what they were doing.  As you can see, we have a few people ask about it.

    It of not really logical that it works for a while and then stops.  Load of updates or any other software before this has stopped working?  Any change in the configuration?  New antivirus software or security?

    I've had Big Fish Games on my computer for over a year now and it has always worked well, but recently, when I downloaded games and tried to open them via the games Manager, I get a message that says "[White] has stopped working".  There is no error code or the name of the program, just a space empty.  Windows is trying to find a solution then is to say that he manages.  The games does not open and I end up having to delete them.  I tried to re - download but it does not work.     I checked the reported compatibility list, and the game is listed as compatible.  Work in 64-bit or 32-bit Windows 7?  I will try to reinstall the game, if you did an upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 recently.  If it is a new installation and does not, please visit the EA's Web site to get the latest patch for the game to see if that helps address your problem.  Let me know if you've done all that and you still have questions, and we can try something else.
