game will not be resolved in full screen.

am running windows Vista and had an old version of scrabble.   All of a sudden it will not maximize the full screen.   You press on maximizing and there still about 1.5 inches on all sides.   I played with all the properties, screen resolutions, but I can't get it to work.   I bought a new Scrabble updated and it's doing the same thing. All other games seem to be good.    It is much too small for my mother who plays to see.

Cheboman and games of Bubble Town will be open in full screen. The two seem to be about 640 X 480 and occupy about half of the screen (15 "laptop Dell with Win 7) the two has worked well before.  Unknown cause of change.

Drivers not a problem.  Problem solved by reinstalling Windows XP Service Pack 2.  Apparently, that got corrupted somehow and caused Win 7 do not manage the compatibility of existing software.  I just right click on the icons of the game, and then you click Properties.  Under Compatibility tab was a check mark showing it was related to this service pack.  I downloaded a new copy, resettled and everything now works normally.

  • Satellite L500 - after Windows 7 upgrade games does not work in mode full screen

    Hello..

I just received my upgrade to windows 7 in the mail and I installed it and all is well...

But if I run a game that is not in the same as the computer screen resulution is a square in the middle of the screen and it is two big black lines down on each side. It does not put the game in full screen. The games in the same resulution works very well.

Some games may be put to the resulution have this computer.

How can I do then come in full screen?

    Thank you

    Hello

Have you tried to update the display driver? Maybe you have an older version that is not fully compatible with Windows 7. Just check the Web from Toshiba site to get the latest version:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

Normally for mode full screen in games you choose the native screen resolution of your screen there.
    Check this box!

And it would be interesting to know in what games this problem exists

  • Flash games will not resize in function display properly when expanded

Hey everyone, hope you're all well today

This really isn't a problem, it's just an annoyance for me when my daughter and I play flash games online-based.  I just got a HP Pavilion while a touchscreen.  So far, everything is ok with it, but this question:

When I try to open the game after the login screen screen is just a little more big and not centered, but it opens in the upper left corner with the majority of the real game screen is the same small size he had before it was enlarged and ads being expanded outside on the right side to the place.  There is also a large area of the screen on the right side that has nothing more than a solid white color in it.

I looked all over the internet trying to figure out how to solve this problem and I can't find a solution that works.  Any ideas?

Well, who wasted no time. Got the answer, but it's not a big.

It is a flash based game well but there was not a lot of expenses in the controls. There is in fact no parameters.

It's like you see in your browser. She is supposed to have a fixed size.

The only work around it to lower the resolution of the screen itself settings in Windows.

In windows 8 or 8.1 if you use the Office of tiles, just start typing the Word set and a set of options will appear.

    Click on change display settings.

If you have the desktop display, right-click on the screen and choose the resolution of the screen.

Lower the resolution slider until it more low setting (or experience with sizes) and click OK.

The game appears now larger or full screen according to the setting.

Do not put the browser full screen. Use restore to the bottom and Center it.

You will need to go back and again to restore the monitor to normal, such as it was.

Your old monitor on the old XP machine was probably much more low resolution that your new one is now.

This isn't a problem of windows 8 or a HP all in one problem, its a game scheduled at a great price.

    It will be useful.

BTW, I joined this stupid game just to verify this.

  • E260 will not go past the opening screen

I got my 260 E for about a year and later that yesterday I went to turn it on, but it remains on the logon screen. Enter mode 'sleep', but I can't listen to music or find out anything because it will not go beyond the opening screen. The second of 10-15 soft reset I tried a hundred times, but it does not work.

If remove/insert the battery did not work, the next step would be to format the drive.  You can also try to update the firmware.  I hope that you have a model v1.  What does say on the back of the drive?  Do you see a blue Sansa logo on the splash screen?  If so, you have a model v2 with no recovery mode.

Assuming you have a v1 with the recovery mode:

    1. Turn off the player.
    2. Slide the key lock (to headphone jack).
    3. Press and hold the RECORD when connecting to the PC.
    4. Output RECORD when the "Welcome to recovery mode" message on the LCD s drive.
    5. Open my computer/Windows explore and see if you can find a new "16 MB - FORMAT" labeled removable flash drive
    6. Right-click on 16 MB-FORMAT and select new folder.
    7. Name the new folder "sansa.fmt" (without the quotes).
    8. Use the remove safely icon in the system tray.
    9. HOLD reset in the unlocked position.
    10. Disconnect the player from the PC.

The player must, by seeing the folder sansa.fmt in the root directory of the drive, proceed to format itself.  Pay attention to any error/success message see you.  If all goes well, it will tell the full format and then to restart.

DO NOT TRY TO FORMAT THE VOLUME 16 MB-FORMAT!

If the format does not work, the next step is to try to update the firmware.  Go to the correct sticky message and download the firmware for your region .24A (assuming that he is a player of v1).  Drag and drop the embedded .mi4 and ROM files of archive of the firmware in the root directory of the 16 MB-FORMAT drive.  Make sure that the files end up in the root directory and not in a subdirectory.  Unplug and restart the player as before.

  • I downloaded activex flash player but the game will not download it what should I do?

Why the game will not download? Help, please

    Hi Peggy Gallihugh.

    (a) what game you're talking about?
    (b) what browser do you use?
    (c) you get an error message during the download of the game?

The issue could be with the Web site of when you try to download the game.

Just for test, try to download games from other legitimate Web sites.

    (d) what version of Flash player version you downloaded?

If you use Internet Explorer as your browser, 10.0.45.2 version is ideal for Internet Explorer.

    Post back with your answers.

  • Can't reinstall Vista. Because Vista will not get to the Setup screen.

Hi people. Got a prob a little. Vista stopped booting the other night. So, I tried safe mode, and it hung on crcdisk.sys. So, I decided to get in shape. Problem is, it will boot from the DVD, but will not load / access the Setup screen (I waited for 7-8 minutes and nothing's happened, shows just the thing with the green bar).

Not too sure if it's because the hard drive is 1 TB (but Vista was on the same front hdd with Windows 7). I tried to remove the 2 GB of ram (I use 4). No go. Tried another DVD rom, not go. Removed USB devices that have been connected. No go. I know that the DVD itself is fine. I tried on the other PC here, the installation screen came within 2-3 minutes. But his is not a 1 to (its 250 GB) the only DVD that will work / I install is the Windows 7 DVD.  So, how can I reinstall Vista?

I deleted all partitions / recreated with the Win7 installation as well. Still couldn't get Vista to get to the Setup screen

    Any info appreciated

    Thank you

Finally fixed it. I read that USB legacy can also cause this. So, I disabled it. Everything is good. Managed to get to the Setup screen, then reinstall Vista

  • Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 does not run in mode "full screen".

I tried to change the compatibility mode for each of them and also disabled the themes and as an admin, my drivers are up to date and until the day I'm under wiindows build 7100, one know how to make the racing game in full screen, so there is not 2 inches from each side black?

Windows 7 RC is build 7100?

Anyway, if it is black on the sides, have you checked if the resolution of the game screen setting corresponds to your screen resolution?

What I wanted to say, that if you use Windows 7, it is perhaps a compatibility problem, try the XP Mode Beta (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=0e8fa9b3-c236-4b77-be26-173f032f5159 ) - beware, the download is about 500 MB.

    Hello cannary77:

Sorry your computer broke down. Thanks to updates from Microsoft. Well I see you tried safe mode and couldn't open. I hope you have your recovery disk. It's the time to use them. Just insert the disk and turn on coomputer. If your memory or your hard drive was not damaged it must start the process of full recovery. Follow on screen commands. If you do not have your recovery disk, then you can order them through section of HP computer parts. I hope that this step is all you need. Because if this last resort fails then your computer should be taken for repairs. Maybe just replacing memory chips or the hard drive maybe both.

Once you fall upwards and re-run. Modify the updater settings to automatically update, but let me pick witch to install. Now manually check you for updater and see if the updates are downloaded. Check only one couple at a time. For some reason when a buch of them settle in once, what is happening. I got lucky when it happpened to me. I could get my computer in safe mode and do a restore from the back. Since I changed my settings it didn't happen.

Oh if you need send repairs request an estimate may be cheeper to buy new, then tries to fix it. Also check your warranty may still be covered. All HP computers come with one year warranty. Good luck
