Gaming device

I'm having a problem and can not find an answer.
I have a Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner 2 and can not make it work with windows 7
so when I look at Device Manager I see this
HID-compliant game controller (Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
as far as I know that there is no driver.
so this could be a corrupt HID-Compliant game controller?

See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?s=Thrustmaster%20Top%20Gun%20Afterburner%202&type=Hardware&os=64-bit and http://ts.thrustmaster.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=1&fid=3&pid=47&cid=1

Have you updated your motherboard chipset drivers?

If you have a processor dual core, you will see two entries as your message shows.  I have an Intel I5 processor and it shows 4.  On your laptop, you will normally one entry for the touchpad and one for a mouse that you have set.

On my laptop I have an entry for the touchpad and the other for the USB mouse, I have attached.  If you have an attached gaming device, it could possibly identify as a mouse.

So I would say you probably have nothing to fear as long as you don't have! or? next to one of your entries.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.

  • "An internal system error has occurred" when you try to install DirectX.

A week or so, I tried to install a game requiring the use of DirectX. Well when I go to install DirectX, it gives me an error that reads, 'an internal system error has occurred. " "Please refer to DXError.log andDirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine the problem."

I can't find the files mentioned above on my computer, so therefore, I can't see them.

  • Using Logitech attack 3 joystick, some button do not work or work properly. Do need to be configured.

Installed Flight Sim X - also downloaded the drivers for the controller Logitec. Components and fittings are directional. for example, I can extend components but does not retract them. When was the last time it was working fine?

You have installed the drivers available for joystick from Logitech Web site?

  • Fixed deadlines on the device as a single network to control access ethernet?

I have a network running on an Airport Extreme as the base with a Time Capsule and Airport Express station used to extend the network in my house (see photo)

I put dates limits for our son using Airport utility in the past with great success. However, since then is online gaming, he began to relate to the time Capsule using ethernet port to the place we have now discovered is not controlled by the deadlines in Airport utility because it uses the ethernet connection.

What I want to know is if I can now set deadlines to control wifi access to the time Capsule itself. I already added a control using the MAC address I found in Airport utility (listed as location of wifi - Channel 9). Or should I use the Ethernet MAC address? (see photo below) It will work to set limits of time just so that one device?

No.. Sorry... timed access only works on wireless clients.

If you want more controls that you need a better than the Apple router.

    Hello

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download the Realtek Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp73001-73500/sp73189.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R.

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

In the Device Manager window, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72501-73000/sp72862.exe

After reinstalling, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right-click on the setup of Realtek Audio and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, restart the laptop again and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

    Kind regards
