Get Unknownhost exception for the local computer's IP

I'm new to the network API in Java and get a weird error. I do the following with UDP sockets:

client application sends a string to the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx%someText format as a byte [] where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx represents a valid IPv4 address (in this case, the IP address of my machine... later wants to IP of a server)
application staging server converts byte [] to string, splits based on the '%' character and the first string of the split then transforms an InetAddress via InetAddress.getByName

It is to launch a java.net.UnknownHostException exception and I cannot understand why. If I hard code the IP address in the program, it works fine, but this isn't an option. There is obviously something different on the chain of the staging server is to receive, but I can't understand what it is, when the output that is displayed as the expected data. Any help would be appreciated, I pasted only the relevant excerpts of my code below for brevity:

-customer-
Encode
Byte [] data;
String surlabasedesdonneesdufabricantduballast = servAddress.concat("%"); "          package = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx%text delimiter used for xxx not guaranteed to be triple
Surlabasedesdonneesdufabricantduballast = Sdata.concat (text);                    Add text to the data
out.writeChars (Sdata);                         write data to the stream of bytes
out. Flush();
data = byteStream.toByteArray ();
DatagramPacket message = new DatagramPacket (data, data.length);
Sock.Send (message);

-Intermediate Server-
ByteArrayInputStream input = new ByteArrayInputStream (encodedData);
In DataInputStream = new DataInputStream (input);
String data = new String (encodedData);
String [] info = data.split("%"); "
Address of string = info [0] .trim ();
... failed code
serverAddress = InetAddress.getByName (address);  It's the line that fails

Your e/s is asymmetric. You are using DataOutputStream.writeChars () to write the data, so you must use DataInputStream.readChar () to read each individual character back and build your channel out of these characters.

    Hi, I'm trying start the IKE and AUTHOP service from the SERVICES screen but I get this error:

    Hello

    Remember to make changes to the computer before the show?

    You can follow the below methods:

    Method 1: Restart Windows and try to start the Security Center service.

    If you still receive the same error, make sure that the WMI service is launched and running:

    (a) click Start, run , and then type Services.msc

    (b) double-click Windows Management Instrumentation

    (c) set its startup type to Automatic

    (d) click Start to start the service, and then click OK

    (e) restart Windows.

    Method 2: Restart the service

    Windows logs an error if the service IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules or the driver does not start, or suddenly, they end.

    To restart the IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules service:

    To perform this procedure, you must have membership in the local Administrators group, or must you have been delegated the appropriate authority.

    (a) restart the service. You can do this from a command prompt or in the snap-snap-in Services Microsoft Management Console (MMC). Do one of the following:

    ·         Start an administrative command prompt. Click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. At the command prompt, run the command net start ikeext.

    ·         Click Start, type services.msc in the Search box and press ENTER. In the column name of the Services snap-in, right-click on IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modulesand then click Start.

    (b) if the attempt to restart the service fails, restart the computer. This forces all related and dependent services to restart.

    (c) if the error persists after restarting the computer, then the executable files for the driver or service may be damaged, and the operating system must be reinstalled.

    Note:

    You can check that the IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules (IKEEXT) service runs by using the Component Services Microsoft Management Console (MMC) or the net start command line tool.

    You can check the link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc733299 (WS.10) .aspx

    Method 3: Run a scan of the System File Checker.

    I'm on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
    UAC is set to the lowest level 2

    The other day I have problems with the search box in the start bar. It is more was to find excel or other office applications and also he wouldn't orders base as cmd or Notepad. Whenever I run a command it returns an error like this (not exact because I have the exact error message):

    Windows cannot find ': search query = cmd'

    I searched a little and tried to rebuild the index in Control Panel > Indexing Options. It does not work so I uninstalled Windows Search and reinstalled. What I found now, is that the indexing service would not start and if I tried manually start from services.msc I would get the following error:

    Windows search Windows failed to start the service on the Local computer
    Error 161: the specified path is not valid

    The event log showed me this Application error:

    Help!

    Thanks Samhrutha.
    Your proposed solution of editing the registry is the only solution I found to this day and still work.
    The only drawback that I want to emphasize is that this fix causes completely reset to its default settings of windows search.  Customizations to search what have been done by the user (e.g., windows search indexing user customizations options) will be lost.

    I am running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and occasionally experienced the same error message ( windows cannot find ': search query = XXX ", where XXX corresponds to my search query) try to search through windows when start menu search box.

    Only recently, however, discovered one other cause possible/fix to this problem.
    Specifically, I discovered that the error of windows search resulting from the ADDITION of a NETWORK LOCATION on the local computer (for example, via the menu option "Add a network location" that appears when you click the file menu in a window of windows Explorer displays the contents of the local computer (corresponding to the "COMPUTER" icon). The CENTER of my computer SYNC settings have been defined to disable the synchronization of network or file 'offline' and I suspect that this setting is also part the cause of the error of research.

    To resolve this problem, simply tell windows search not to include the 'network' location in the search index.  To do this, one needs to access the settings of the windows search INDEX LOCATIONS (via Indexing Options-> change), then uncheck the box next to the network location (which on my computer starts as follows: oneindex: / / {s-1-5-21...)

    After unchecking this box, click on the OK button and then CLOSE the button to exit the Options of Index window.  After that the error message should hopefully not return.  If so, try restarting the computer and research to test again.

    Hope this helps!

    :)
