I get a message on my phone that says "copy of windows is not genuine." I ran the diagnostic tool and the results are below. I'm not the greatest technology, so if the answer may be as clear as possible I would appreciate it.
Thank you.

Hello
I started getting a message that keeps popping up saying that my copy of Windows is not genuine. Thing is that nothing has changed on the netbook. I bought with Windows 7 Starter on it again and after a little while the upgrade to Windows 7 Premum, he now worked for about 3 years.
Everything is the same as it was, no replacement of hard drives or whatever it is. The system says that it is activated and genuine but I get this message to come. I tried to run through it, and he said just that I can't activate it (probably because he already is).
Properties of the computer displays active Windows and authentic. I have not updated since a moment so need to do but it keeps telling me that updates failed, then invite say its not authentic.
Result of an activation tool is below which also shows that it is authentic. Someone has ideas of how this can be sorted out please?
Thank you
Simon

Windows 7 not genuine messages
Separated from this thread.
Hello
I just wanted to point.
As mentioned earlier, after the new installation, I got messages stating the my Windows 7 x 64 version was not genuine.
Gerry has provided a solution that I first thought has solved the problem, but the message has been appearing everytime I connect.
I followed the process from a youtube video which was to access cmd as administrator and enter "SLMGR-REARM" which doesn't work, but I fear that it is a temporary solution.
Finally, my Windows 7 is a genuine, valid and purchased version and I have posted the request in this thread that the problem occurred as a result of my original problem of Windows Update.
Thank you, R
Rob
I am sharing your problem in a new thread as some time has passed since your previous problems. Which will ensure that put more emphasis on the current situation.
I suggest that you run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage diagnostic in normal mode tool and copy and paste the results into a response for further analysis: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012
Run the tool and when it ends, click the copy button, open a text such as Word or Notepad file and select Edit, paste. You can paste directly into an answer here. Open a response, right click and select Paste.

You seem to have installed a copy of Windows 7 Professional that uses an activation exploit that bypasses the product activation.
We know that it is because the BIOS date:

Windows 7 was released in 2009, the date of your BIOS says 2007, which means probably that your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.
In addition, he is a well known Windows 7 Ultimate license which has been used all over the web:

Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.

Get Windows 7 not genuine after replacing a failed hard drive
I replaced a hard drive that wasn't in my Dell laptop. I bought a disc of windows 7 Dell. I installed the new hard drive and windows 7. I need information of the old hard disk so put back in news. When I put my new hard drive in it told me that Windows 7 was not authentic?
everything indicates that the use of a Dell OEM recovery disk which is valid on a Windows 7 Dell. Your installation is not a upgrade license.

Hello
I bought a Lenovo T430s, 2355-CTO type, it is still in warranty (already checked it), and for the last 20 days, I get "Windows is not genuine". It work perfectly during the last 4 months, but all of a sudden (I guess an update of Win) starts to show me this message.
I don't have a product key on my battery, Lenovo, I called and they told me that my laptop is with prefabricated Win and the key is embedded. I tried all of the fixes that Lenovo, I could start console but nothing has worked.
I don't want to restore the default hard drive (the only option left) I have a lot of data on my drive HARD, plus another SW installed from the corporate network.
Are there not a difficulty, or something?
Thanks in advance
Adrian
Thank you for your response. I'm going to download this kit, and if it happens to me again, I'll try this fix as well. Unfortunately I already restore my Lenovo to its default settings on the weekend and reinstall everything. Now it works, but it is not a nice way to fix this topic.

"Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine" after several teething problems
Well, a few days ago, I had repeated problems where after my machine has started, things were not running right. Several programs that start automatically at startup were suspended, others were not run at all and I had to reboot several times in a row until I was a session that would normally be. This last day, he won't even be me a normal session.
And then I got the dreaded error "this copy of Windows is not genuine" and it starts just a black screen and I do not get any further. (I started this time in Mode safe mode with networking). I have a disc of Win7 Pro DVD bought Age of return and progressed through several machines with it. Always a machine at the same time, of course.
MGADiag output follows.

Windows7 Activation failed after 8 months
Hello
Several months ago, I bought a copy of Windows 7 family Premium 64 Bit, OEM of the FRY in the upgrade/repair considerably my PC (MBoard, SSD and RAM). Activation and initial recording went well. Today, the "Windows is not genuine" message popped up. Following the instructions, I checked the credentials of the DVD purchased, including
1 > COA
2 > hologram on CD (* etc.).
The software is authentic from what I see. But the reactivation attempts have failed. I went to www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/ and gave MS Security Essentials because my "version of Windows is genuine. However, I'm getting treatment "this version of windows is counterfeit." (The Office went black, warning of impending doom if not authenticated, etc.). By other directives of similar experience, I down loaded Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool - here are the details of Diag of WGA

If it is any help, I was about to run System Mechanic 11, he started and said that an update is available. I allowed the update and after the typical stuff (clean the clutter of system, optimize the SSD, back up registry) was asked to defragment the registry, which occurs at a restart. Once I started getting these messages from genuine activation/No. I tried to get the product on the COA (as I had when first installed and activated) does not.I appreciate help that I need to have my computer working properly! Really! (just kidding, but I use for personal stuff, important).

seems good now. the TTS error has not reoffended then you are good to go.

Windows Vista (TM) Build 6001 this copy of Windows is not genuine
I tried to connect to the internet, the screen went black and when she came back on everything on the screen has been expanded. Then, I changed my laptop, using the power button. When I switched back on it the "Windows Vista (TM) Build 6001 this copy of Windows is not genuine" message appeared in the lower right corner of the screen, and all the icons on the desktop had been rearranged - with a few missing. I no longer seem to have the suite Microsoft Office applications on my laptop and I can't connect to the internet. Several other tools on Vista work is more (including the 'Research' in the Start Menu tool). Please note that I had my laptop for about 18 months and it came pre-installed with a 'Real' copy of Vista Home Premium Operating System, I had no problem with the operating system before this appearance. After reading other threads on the forum, I have downloaded and run the 'real diagnostic tool' recommended. I got the following results: -.
