GjpgPack\instrument.dll"failed to load Windows 7

I have this window at different times and know how to solve this problem:

RegSvr32

Module: 'C:\Users\Jim\AppData\Local\GjpgPack\instrument.dll' could not be loaded.

Makesure the binary is stored at the specified location, or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent file. Dll files.

The specified module could not be found.

Ron - what is a codec and how would identify him in a program that has been installed?      Since my computer seems to run smoothly anyway, how can I get rid of the window 'RegSvr32 '?    Thanks again for your help.

Hello

Codec:

The codec name is abbreviation of coder-decoder, what does a codec. Most audio and video formats use some kind of compression, so that they do not take a huge amount of disk space. Audio and video files are compressed with a particular codec when they are created/saved and then decompressed by the codec when they are read.

Codecs include. MPEG. AVI. WMV, DIVX. MP4, etc., etc., for video files and. WAV. AIFF. MP3, etc, for audio files. Codecs can also be used to compress media streaming (audio and video live), which makes it possible to broadcast a live audio or video clip via a broadband Internet connection.

Codecs - Frequently asked Questions:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/codecs-frequently-asked-questions#codecs-frequently-asked-questions=Windows-7

The result is that when you use a specific media file that was created using a particular codec, codec must be installed to play the video file.

You should try to isolate what that you do, start a program, multimedia application, game, utility or another application when this error occurs. This will reveal the component that is causing the problem.

You cannot "get rid" of the "RegSvr32" (Microsoft Register Server). The .dll or components ActiveX installed in Windows use this component to record the .dll (Dynamic Link Library) file in Windows before it can be used.

    Hello

Google has little information about this file, so it's probably a Malware startup more entry left which has been removed from your security programs.

Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware:

  • Satellite A75-S231: error NFP LIST CORROMPRE - fails to load Windows

I have a Toshiba Satellite A75-S231. I started the computer and it kept freezing a few minutes after the start, gives me an PFN_CORRUPT_LIST error.

Now, he is unable to load even in windows, the computer blue screens during the loading screen and immediately restarts. After you run a memtest and get the error, it seems more likely that it is a memory problem.

It has 512 MB of RAM when buying and I bought a stick of 1 GB for more memory, 1 GB key seems to be fine, but I think the 512 MB is integrated and this is whence all errors of memory.

Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the original 512 MB memory which seem to be part of the laptop, or how to prevent them from causing the problem. I feel that I can just be completely out of luck because of how integrated this memory is with the rest of the laptop. If anyone has any questions, comments or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi mate,

I Don t think that memory is embedded. It s probably on the top of the motherboard and not on the bottom, where you have installed your stick of 1 GB.
To remove the module, lift the keyboard which shouldn´t be a big problem. Under the keyboard, you will find the module (probably under a plastic cover) which can then be replaced by another module.

Please give a look, remove the cover of the keyboard and the keyboard or if you are not familiar with electronics, bring your machine to a technician who should take a look and remove the module from the upper part.

But believe me, you'll have the chance.

    Welcome them

  • After replacing the hard drive failed to load Windows Vista due to CD drive problem

    Original title: new hard drive

My hp pavilion dv6700 crashed to its hard drive. I put a new and need to load the operating system vista on it. The cd-rom does not work. I have an external cd drive. What should I do?

    Hello

«I use the three recovery DVDs I've done everything first, when I bought the laptop Pavilion dv6904ca /HP /.»  And I suspect that they are not good for some reason any. Even if I did so that I have them stored in a safe and proper manner, they were probably unnecessary since the beginning. »

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Computer Dell laptop/windows xp, got virus.tried to fix. BAD IDEA. ERROR: DLL msgina.dll UI winlogon.exe - bad image.logon failed to load.

Computer Dell laptop of my husband has a virus that wants you to install a fake security program. I tried to fix it. OOPS. I tried to choose an earlier date to restore your computer to and I got zapped, crashed and burned. Error is now: winlogon.exe - bad image then the msgina.dll login user interface DLL failed to load, contact admin to replace the dll or restore the original dll. I don't have a boot cd. Is there a way of "back door" to get his computer works again?

As you know now, do a restore of the system on a severely infected machine is not a good thing. Better to save the data and do a clean installation of Windows. You can try to do it yourself, but based on your post, which I would not recommend it. I don't mean to hurt your feelings, just to be practical. It would be better to take the machine to a competent local tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place).

If you really want to try it yourself, here's what you need to do:

    1. start the computer with Linux Livecd such as Knoppix. You are using Linux, copy the data files on an external hard drive.
    2. install Windows using the XP Dell installation CD.
    3. install all the drivers for Dell. Use the Dell Resource CD or get the drivers from the Dell advance website.
    4. switch to XP Service Pack 3 and do all the Windows updates.
    5. install a good antivirus - NOD32 (commercial), Avast or Avira (both have free versions).
    6. install all other desired programs, updated if necessary (especially if you have MS Office).
    7. analyze data saved with the antivirus before you copy it to the new clean install. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Half-life 2 says failed to load the Launcher DLL specified module could not be found

Failed to load the Launcher DLL:

the specified module could not be found

    Hi Madoo17,

Welcome to the community of Microsoft and thanks for posting the question. I've surely you will help find a solution on the issue.

    1. Once you get this error message?

    2. it worked before?

3 did you changes to the computer before the show?

    Perform the steps:

    Method 1:

Put the computer in a State of boot is a way to know which application is causing this problem.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    Step 1:

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

Follow the steps in the link below to do the same thing:

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as shown here:

Step 2: To configure Windows to use a Normal startup state

After you have used the boot is a way to solve your problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    a. Click Start and then click Run.

    b. type msconfig and click OK. The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    c. click on the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    d. When you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Method 2: Use the (SFC) System File Checker tool.

SFC system gives an administrator the ability to scan the files all protected to check their versions. If the System File Checker detects that a protected file has been replaced, it retrieves the correct version of the file in the folder cache (% Systemroot%\System32\Dllcache) or the Windows installation source files and then replaces the incorrect file. System File Checker verifies and repopulates the cache folder also. You must be logged in as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group to run the System File Checker.

Check out this link to do the same thing:

Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System File Checker (Sfc.exe)

Hope this information helps. Please reply back with the State so that we can help you.
