Do a forced reboot - after all open applications using the app Chooser - invoked by fast double pressing the home button and drag upwards on each app until it disappears from the screen.

Meet the sleep/wake and home buttons down until you see the logo  - then release and allow normal start upward

    Someone responsible of what an single Gmail account on iPad several Air using Apple Configurator 2?  Not another Gmail account for each iPad, all the same Gmail account over and over again on every iPad.

    I understand, there might be other ways of skinning this cat and you have concerns I want to load the same Gmail account on a whole bunch of iPads, however I need to do and believe me when I say that short to manually enter the account information for each iPad (which I do not... 170 iPads and counting), the only tool I have and it can have for this is Apple Configurator 2 with a useful load of Mail in a profile.

    I tried all the settings and combination of settings that I can see on my profile MAIL payload section.  Here are the Gmail settings that I use:

    Incoming mail: imap.gmail.com, Port 993

    Outgoing mail: smtp.gmail.com, Port 465 (and tried with and without SSL 25)

    When I install the profile and then click on the MAIL icon on the iPad, he thought for a second and then I get the following message:

    Do not Mail

    The user name or password [email protected] is incorrect

    I checked the user name and password several times and they are typed correctly.

    I just changed one of my schools to Exchange Gmail. The exchange of useful load was easy, but I had to set up my ipad 'master' manually with Gmail settings for my 1 Gmail account and then create a backup which all my other iPads restore from when I update them at the beginning of the year. This example gets most of his work, but it does not keep the password when restoring the backup - so I have to open the email program and quickly grasp the Gmail password on all ipads before giving them back to the classes. Boring I know, but it takes a few seconds to do. In fact, I had to accept the "Trusted certificate" question on every iPad when I used Exchange is not very different.

    Reboot/reset your iPad and make sure that you follow the steps below:

    Add an e-mail account on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

    Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

    Could not find anything related to this via a search. Are you reciently installed applications? Sometimes apps throw the phone in all its States.

    Let's start with; While the phone is turned on, remove the battery and let it sit while you challenge a drink. Plug it in, restart the phone and see if the stile of questions remain.

    If past again, I would return the phone using DM and then reinstalling the operating system.

    Unless someone else can think of anything else.

    At least, I think it is; After starting with lozenges of things, my gmail will not load the mail on the iPad.  Ideally, I would like to access gmail with both devices.

    Go to the Gmail site and configure your Gmail options to use the IMAP synchronization type (disable the POP if it is enabled).  Once this is done, remove and re-add your Gmail for both devices. Now, they will continue to be synchronized using the IMAP synchronization process.

  • Transfer of photos from iPad to iMac

    This isn't really a question, but an answer (maybe) to several threads that have taken place over the years.

    I did have long found difficult and tedious to use official methods to achieve this.  Many people do not use 'Photos' and by using this method you end up importing in Photos and then export again.  It is not safe or logical (that does the original Image?).

    I tried what I would do if you use a Windows machine (Vista).  Connect the iPad on the Windows machine using the firewire/USB cable supplied.  Windows automatically installs a driver for the iPad!  You can then (in Windows File Manager) open the iPad and drag and drop the files required on a USB key.  This stick is then used to drag and drop the images in a folder on the iMac.  Simple.

    You get only the images you want to transfer.  They are altered by software because they are just copied - not loaded in Photos.

    Why Apple doesn't allow a direct drag and drop an iPad to iMac?  He can't have a safety issue - the iPad is recognized by the iMac.

    A small point, I noticed was that some formats are not standard on the iPad in the industry.  Films created on the iPad run properly on the Windows machine well once moved to the iMac they work properly.  Maybe that's a problem with an old Quicktime Player.  JPEG images are however very good.

    You can use Image Capture on a Mac to copy photos, allowing you to select and copy the pictures/videos to your specified folder.

    Just a quick question before I start to call technical information of collage and start asking questions about bandwidth, etc., in which case there is a simple answer.

    Is there a known issue with the video quality for calls between Skype (latest version) running on Windows 7 and an iPad? Close, I can have a conversation, but the video is usually blurred and freezes often.

    There is no known issue between iPad and Skype on Windows. If the network connection is good, the video can be 720 p in both directions.

  • What are the icons on top of gmail

    When I use gmail on my iPad, there are 5 icons on the top.  The first three are a flag, a folder and a file.  The last two are an arrow (for you answer and transfer, etc.) and a new message icon.  I just want to know what are the first three.  I have searched but cannot find anything.     I got issuses ipad/printer before and I am aware that there are several issues reuarding ipad/printer issues, but my question is... What I really need to connect to the printer (HP Envy 4502) whenever I want to print something? Then re - connect to my wifi network?

    I downloaded the HP soft, but I still have to 1. find want I want to print 2. connect to the printer 3. go and print 4. reconect to wifi again. That is rubbish if I want a document to print via the cloud.

    It is surely not good?

  • Z10 GMAIL BlackBerry - Z10 forgotten password (authentication 2 not lit)

    Gmail (with 2 stages of authentication) erratic application password. I can go days with no problems, then have a day where it says the account GMail is invalid and I put in the password for specific times two or three devices so far. I disabled 2 steps of authentication for now see if that helps but would like to fix it. Vodafone say it's a google / gmail issue but not sure I believe that, given the problems I have had with the OS Z10 and the fact that the issue seems to appear a lot on the web, associated with the BB platform. Not seen any solution yet though.

    On the Z10, I am running OS 10.1.0.2312. on Vodafone.

    You need to unlock your Gmail Captcha, which is a safety device implemented by them to prevent connections «bot» unauthrorized  You can unlock your Gmail Captcha to https://accounts.google.com/DisplayUnlockCaptcha then retest your Gmail account.

    I have a Macbook, an iPhone 6s and an iPad while using GMAIL. The iPad and the iPhone receive emails all the time perfectly but the macbook must constantly turn on and off like re-booting for email at work. I was doing an expert from an it company but they say there is a problem with the macbook, because it keeps problems without reason.

    No problem. I'm sorry that it isn't an easy process on the ipad. I tried to find free applications that could do it, but could not find in my research.

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. I see that your gmail password has been updated on your MacBook Pro upgrade to Mac OS Sierra. You also made certain that the iCloud Keychain on your Mac was aware of the update, but devices still require this password. I'll be happy to help you with this.

    The first thing you want to make sure of is that you are connected to the same iCloud ID on all your devices. If it is in order, read this article to learn more, especially in this section:
    Get help using iCloud keychain

    If you cannot synchronize iCloud Keychain with other devices

    Make sure that your device is on a Wi - Fi or the cellular network. If the connection seems strong, try the following steps:

    1. turn off iCloud Keychain on all devices.
    2. turn on iCloud Keychain on the device that has the most up-to-date keychain items.
    3. turn on iCloud Keychain on your other devices. They will be updated with your iCloud new keychain.
