  Latest version of MS office will not work with your Acrobat 9.

  as far as I can see, in the default programs control panel, when I click on the EMAIL he just said Microsoft windows. Cannot change, delete, replace... cannot do anything.

  I don't know that I'm being stupid. I have no one to ask. I am nearly 70, do not understand half of what is all about. Can anyone help - in understandable English, please.

  If you are simply trying to select an image file, right click and select send to/recipient of the message, it will not work if you are using the default Windows 8 App Mail.

  You must have a Desktop Email program is installed to do this, such as Windows Live Mail, which is part of the Windows Essentials range.

  To attach the image using Windows 8 Mail App, open the Mail application and select new email message.

  Click on the paper clip icon in top/right (attachments).

  Navigate to the folder where the image is stored and Select the file.

  Click the button to join at the bottom of the screen.

  This will attach the file to the new email.

  I set my printer up to send a scan of documents for me whenever my laptop isn't on. It requires a code PIN to send the document. Unfortunately I misplaced the PIN code and is forced to locate or reset. Reflected on the printer to the title web services, I can't see an option to do this. I have also recorded in the centre of ePrint online but have been unable to locate or find a reset it either.

  The best way to access the app is actually access your ePrint account and add the scan for app by email to your printer.  Once you add the application to your printer go to your apps on the front panel and you should see the scanning to e-mail.  I hope this helps.

  When sending e-mail through the printer scanner, I have a purple line which appears in the scanned document. Scanning is done from the "feeder ' ' the printer and not the glass.

  The windows were all cleaned.

  I did the test and digital printing of the "feeder ' ' and I have no lines for printing!   I did update the firmware of the printer and I still have the same result.

  The small windows of the charger scanner had a small red above mark.  When the analysis has been done and sent on an e-mail, the line shows as it is scanned were made with the color scan option.  If I print the line doesn't show because the printer is not color!

  Here is a link to 'how to scan' documents on hp.com.

  Choose your operating system, or scan from the printer.  Since the 6520 is not a duplexor, you'll need to turn the page on the scanner to scan the back side.  If you want a copy two sides, then put the printed pages in the paper tray with the face upwards.  If you are scanning in format pdf, then the screen will ask you if you send several pages and will be waiting to deliver the document to scan the back side.

  You don't mention the part where you attach the document to the fax to send. This could be a problem... :-)

  I've updated to Mac OS Sierra 10.12 and I can't save a document scanned from my office. It scans the document ok, but the "Save" button is grayed out.

  I can scan and record directly from the parser.

  There is no driver listed on the HP website for 10.12 - the latest driver listed is of 10.1

  Anyone know how to fix?

  I have a MacBook, which is still under El Capitan and it works very well as my Mac did until I updated the operating system. I also note that Sierra is not on the list of OS for this post.

  Update on my problem - I discovered I can save the scanned document using the Print - command, function.

  So I guess this will fix itself when HP to produce a new printer driver for this OS.
