Gobi 4000 in W530 - 1802 error

Hello!

I just got my W530 by UPS yesterday, he opened and put in my Gobi 4000 Verizon card I also got Lenovo as advised by the rep that helped me to order.

When I turned on the laptop, I got an error that says "1802 - unauthorized network is connected."

Google has turned up that these mistakes happened when you use non-Lenovo/IBM cards, but my card is purchased directly from Lenovo on the same order as my laptop.

I also got an extended warranty on this computer, so I don't want to cancel that.

What should I do?

Thanks in advance.

To clarify, I got the W530 broadband "extensible" (because the desert of Gobi 4000 wasn't available preinstalled) and bought the desert of Gobi here: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/itemdetails/0A36318/460/5166FF91DAB5442C846A84A5FA006F9D

  • Compatibility of Gobi 4000 for W520 CTO

    Hi all

    I wish you all Merry Christmas!

    My question is quite simple.

    Is the desert of Gobi 4000 W520-compatible or not? If this is not the case, why is this? I know that the desert of Gobi 3000 is for the W520 Lenovo, but it seems that it does not support 4G LTE via the mobile network of the carrier, and that's why I want to buy the desert of Gobi 4000.

    Hi again, fasdf78

    The driver that you found supports the two Gobi 3000 and 4000, but your machine itself does not support the desert of Gobi 4000 because of your BIOS whitelist. I can certainly understand your confusion, especially since this driver works for several cards. It is a driver of Lenovo activation that activates the capabilites broadband mobile system, so it supports multiple cards and machines, even if machines and cards are not compatible between them, as in your case. To summarize: the desert of Gobi 4000 is unfortunately not compatible with this unit.

    It will be useful,

    Adam

  • X 230 error 1802 with the Correct WLAN card

    Recently, I ordered my brand new x 230 for the start of the University and selected the thought of WLAN card default option which would be sufficient for my needs. After the hand signal and dropouts, problems I decided to upgrade the WLAN card that would improve the signal strength.

    I know the existence of the 'white list' frustrating that means that some cards are allowed to use. So, I went in the store of Lenovo and looked for what was the best WLAN card that might come with a new order of a 230-System x, as surely they are on the whitelist.

    Later, I bought an Intel Centrino Ultimate - N 6300 card and installed correctly in my x 230. However, from the start I saw to my despair that the 1802 error was there, tells me my card has not been approved. Could someone explain how hell a card that can come already installed in x 230 is not did not whitelist checking?

    Needless to say I am not very satisfied with Lenovo, because I can't even find a list of what cards are accepted. What is the point in a white list anyway? I am a student trying to patch BIOS to remove it, but no one has yet done a patch.

    Why do I get an error 1802 with this card?
    Thank you.

    Hello and welcome,

    Doesn't have that 6300 come from the store of Lenovo, or from a vendor who said it was for a Lenovo laptop?

    The card type is not the whole story when comes to the white list.  In addition to the correct (6300) type by its PCI vendor and device ID, it must have an ID of subsystem of Lenovo.  (IIRC, it can be more precisely not the subsystem ID, but the effect is the same).  A generic 6300 will not work.

    A card must be sold by Lenovo or pass the white list.  Reputable suppliers will provide a number of Lenovo FRU (CRU) to check the FRU list for the machine.

    For example. Since the research database of Lenovo parts -> ThinkPad X 230page, the RUF for that 6300 is 60Y3233.  It was not easy to find.  The RUF are not in the hardware maintenance manual any more

    If your card has a number of Lenovo FRU, something else is in place.

  • E530C suddenly displaying 1802: unauthorized network card is plugged

    As the title goes, for no apparent reason my E530C suddenly gives me the 1802 error. I have not changed the map, I have not updated all the drivers, the machine was not turned off during an update or anything out of the ordinary. It was just past one day and the next day, he gave this error.

    I can't get into the bios to disable the card as the error comes first.

    The machine works without the attached map, but it's a motherboard that has worked so far so I can't believe that he is not part of the white list that I've read.

    Please, any help at all would be much appreciated.

    Nox41

    You have the chip Broadcom BCM4313 based on the card is installed. Yet an another FRU of this card is 20200100.

    Certainly, ID above are not in the whitelist.
    There are 3 chip Broadcom based on items in the BIOS E530c wl (v.2.55):
    ven_14E4 & dev_4727 & subsys_060814E4
    ven_14E4 & dev_4359 & subsys_060714E4
    ven_14E4 & dev_4365 & subsys_061117AA

    It seems ven_14E4 & dev_4313 IDs belong generic Broadcom card (not marked), or fabricated chip itself. I did not ever seen the real map with the ID of the error message shows:
    ven_14E4 & dev_4313 & subsys_431314E4.
    ID looks unreal.

    So, I guess that the card id have been modified by a reason any. Probably the firmware caused that action, or even the card may be broken and can not pass its real ID for the laptop of the PCI bus.

  • ORA-02374: error loading conversion table / ORA-12899: value too large for column

    Hi all.

    Yesterday I got a dump of a database that I don't have access and Production is not under my administration. This release was delivered to me because it was necessary to update a database of development with some new records of the Production tables.

    The Production database has NLS_CHARACTERSET = WE8ISO8859P1 and development database a NLS_CHARACTERSET = AL32UTF8 and it must be in that CHARACTER set because of the Application requirements.

    During the import of this discharge, two tables you have a problem with ORA-02374 and ORA-12899. The results were that six records failed because of this conversion problem. I list the errors below in this thread.

    Read the note ID 1922020.1 (import and insert with ORA-12899 questions: value too large for column) I could see that Oracle gives an alternative and a workaround that is to create a file .sql with content metadata and then modifying the columns that you have the problem with the TANK, instead of BYTE value. So, as a result of the document, I done the workaround and generated a discharge .sql file. Read the contents of the file after completing the import that I saw that the columns were already in the CHAR value.

    Does anyone have an alternative workaround for these cases? Because I can't change the CHARACTER set of the database the database of development and Production, and is not a good idea to keep these missing documents.

    Errors received import the dump: (the two columns listed below are VARCHAR2 (4000))

    Even with the semantics of TANK, the bytes for a column VARCHAR2 max length is 4000 (pre 12 c)

    OLA Yehia makes reference to the support doc that explains your options - but essentially, in this case with a VARCHAR2 (4000), you need either to lose data or change your data type of VARCHAR2 (4000) to CLOB.

    Suggest you read the note.

    Sorry for these questions, updates team still working on getting all the updates that are released for new systems like X 230...

    Bluetooth must be here today.

    I do not recommend installation RapidBoot shield unless you have personally tested and determined that it makes your boot faster image and does not cause side effects.

    Intel USB 3.0 has addictive bad RapidBoot shield, the team working on the removal of the dependence.  If you use ThinInstaller, you can find a way to remove the dependency from the XML yourself.

  • Timestamp problem DAQmx waveform

    I have a program that reads analog signals multiple DAQmx using a PFI trigger from a DIO card to start the acquisition.   It uses a registry to offset and Boolean logic to stop the DAQmx read the loop when the trigger is low.  I traced the result to a curve of waveform.  I have a 1000 S/s scanning speed.  I traced the data to a graph of waveform and eye on the individual data points and it is perfect.  Exactly 1 S/s.  The problem: when I increase my 5000 S/s scan rate... I see exactly 1 S/s, but the displayed duration of my test data is 5 x more time.  That tells me that my graph of the waveform is plotted in fact each data point individual 1ms apart.  So basically, there a 1ms all dt in the waveform, and it does not change.  How can I get the real dt of the analysis of data here instead of this arbitrary constant?  When I look at a text of my waveform data file, I see the timestamp below where I'm expecting something ending like that...  0,0010, 0,0017, 0.0025, etc..  Any help would be appreciated.  I'll post the VI if necessary, but other than the trigger power, is a fairly straightforward HERE DAQms read.  Thank you in advance.

    The time of LV start date is January 1, 1904 midnight GMT.  Since your shows up to 6 hours before that, he must be GMT - 6.  My horodateurs base are 19:00 31/12/1903, which is GMT - 5.  Eastern time zone.

    Are you any error coming out after your Subvi waveforms?

    You empty an array of waveform data to add.  The default waveform has a T0 zero and a detachment of the 1.  In the Sub - VI of waveform append inside your Subvi if dt' it does not raise an error, (in fact a caveat being the 1802 error code is positive.).  But she proceeds to add data and use the dt and T0 the first waveform which is initially as the default data in the initial iteration.  I think that if you start with an array of wavefrom that has the number of channels of the need, an empty array of Y, but a correct dt.  Then the dt should be correct.  That, or you can put in your Subvi a case structure where the first call, or if the incoming waveform is empty, it is not add and uses only the 2nd waveform.

    You have also a little a Rube Goldberg enters your Subvi.  It could be simplified as shown in the picture as an attachment.

    In my query #1 aaa field is a calculated column so I can't use this column in my group by clause in my first request, I put all the columns in the group by clause that is included in my select as well as in my statement box.

    In my query #2 aaa field is a computed column, so rather than put my columns of the clause cases (see comments) individually in my group by clause, I put all the instruction box except Else condition. Unfortunately, when I try to put another condition in my group by clause, then I get the error.

    My question is that what query is better application #1 or #2 of query. If query #2 so how is that I put other condition in group by clause. Really appreciate your answers. Thank you

    Thanks for the reply from Frank, at the moment, I get the correct answer for a query # 1 but I wonder this approach of rite to use all the columns in the case statement separately group by clause? for example, is it a rite way to handle the cases if clause meet with feature synthesis such as Min and Max... Please advice.

    Sorry, I don't understand the question.

    Also, I do not understand the request.  Why do you need to aggregate functions or GROUP BY all in this problem?  EMP.EmpNo is unique, including empno in the GROUP BY clause means that each group will contain only 1 line and will tell you as well

    SELECT ename, empno, comm

    CASE

    Sal WHEN > 1000 THEN 4000

    () OTHER

    SELECT DeptNo

    WCP

    WHERE empno = 7369

    )

    END as aaa

    WCP

    ;

    Assuming that nothing in the GROUP BY clause was unique, what would be the problem with a saved query?

  • Update trigger (the table_name is mutation)

    Hi refugees,

    Can someone help me solve my problem.

    ---------

    create table XE_TEST (number SAL, UPDATED_FLAG varchar2 (1));

    Insert into XE_TEST values(5000,'Y');

    Select * from XE_TEST;

    create the table XE_TEST1 select * from XE_TEST;

    ----------

    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER XE_UPDATE_TRG
    AFTER UPDATE ON XE_TEST
    FOR EACH LINE
    DECLARE
    BEGIN
    IF (: NEW.) UPDATED_FLAG = 'Y') then
    Update XE_TEST1 set SAL =: NEW. SAL;
    end if;

    Update XE_TEST set UPDATED_FLAG = 'n';

    EXCEPTION
    WHILE OTHERS
    THEN
    raise_application_error (-20100, SQLERRM);
    END;
    /

    -------------

    Update XE_TEST set sal = 4000;

    How can I write the trigger to change the value of UPDATED_FLAG field in the "n" and update the value in the XE_TEST table.

  • CTX_DOC. Limit size of MARKUP?

    I use ctx_doc.markup to highlight the key word (s) within the clob column. When the clob column contains only less than 4,000 characters, he has no problem, but when faced with with more than 4000 clob column, I get

    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital or value error: character string buffer too small

    Anyone, any idea?

    Thank you

    Never mind, I changed this line to

    str := str || 'b ';

    Yes, I think it's because you call it from a select statement. The following works fine:

    declare
      foo varchar2(32767);
    begin
      foo := highlight_keyword('ctx_test', '3999', 'b');
    end;
    /

    When it is used in a select statement, you are now in a SQL rather than PL/SQL environment. Varchar2s SQL is limited to 4000 characters, and the error, try to copy a PL/SQL variable in a variable SQL that are not large enough.
