• Good candidates for the resource pools?

  Hi, I do not currently use resource pools, but often the impression that I should watch more in him.  We have our four node 5.1 cluster 16 web servers (among others in the virtual computer) that are exactly the same and serve the same function.  I was wondering if those who would be good candidates to be added to a pool of resources, so they can take resources needed?  I tend to approve statically the RAM and CPU on these "just in case", but maybe it's stupid, if there is a better way.  Thank you.

  Also consider that if you have no compelling reason to prioritize resources for all virtual machines on one of the virtual computer, then you really don't have a reason to use the resource to all pools.  In this case, each virtual computer will be given some memory he needs on demand, DRS will balance the load between the hosts if a host is out of balance, and there will be fairness when ESXi pray return of VMs pages when there is a conflict.

• Option-click for the clone stamp does not. I've tried several suggested fixes, no results. Help!

  Howdy!

  I searched and found similar questions on the forum and I tried all the solutions proposed, that I could find, but I'm still not resolve this issue. Hoping that maybe someone found a fix!

  The problem is that the option - click to set a point source for the Clone Stamp tool does not work, but the behavior seems to be particularly odd.

  With the Clone Stamp selected, tool if I press the option key pressed, I get the crosshairs target little, which makes me think that Photoshop is the option key is read and is not a recovery program of her clutter. When I then try to use the clone stamp, however, I get the dreaded error message:

  "Could not use the clone stamp because the area to clone has not been defined (option - click to set a point source)."

  I went through all the relevant troubleshooting steps, I could find elsewhere on the forum. I have updated to the latest version of Photoshop and my BONES. I tried to reset the tool. When this does not work, I reset the Photoshop preferences. I have disabled all the other programs that seemed that they might have some sort of overlay keyboard shortcut, but as mentioned, Photoshop DO change the cursor when I press the option key, which makes me think (although I am far from being an expect) is not the issue. I have no plugins or mods or anything of this nature that is installed. It is a completely vanilla installation.

  I am under Photoshop CC 2015.1.2 20160113.r.355 x 64.  My OS is El Capitan 10.11.2.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. As far as I know, there is no work around. This tool is dead in the water for me until I can sort this out.

  I have to admit, I'm puzzled. Everything seems as it should. The tool has been reset, preferences reset and the layer looks very good. I wonder if it is a question with El Capitan. I use Windows, but know that Photoshop has had problems when El Capitan came out. If you have not used the clone 6 months stamp then it would have been pre - El Capitan. Have you tried completely uninstalling Photoshop, restart the computer and reinstall?

• Good start for the virtualization server?

  I would like some advice on a good start for the virtualization server. I would like to run the more recent, free of VMware ESXi 4.1 edition (vSphere Hypervisor?) on the supported hardware (where the RAID can be monitored with VMware).

  I guess the 8 cores on the server above is a better choice than faster Intel 4 processor (as each VM gets a dedicated core?).

  I am still trying but install and use WinDVD creator I can choose to capture of S-video, Composite video or TV tuner. Maybe it's just that we all waited.   I do a view pilot program using 4.6 and related clones. I have a server (small pilot) to all (vcenter, connect to the server, clients). I have configured an interface on the server as a TRUNK so I can have desktop VMs on different VLANS. How to configure view (or the desktop image base) to clients pools on the VLANs that I would like on?

  For example, computer office-pool1 I want to VLAN 10, office-pool2 I VLAN 11.

  Base Office I created, I put the VLAN 10, but the VMs system (created from the replica) begin on VLAN 11.

  You must create groups of ports for each VLAN.  Then go to your parent image, change the nic for the port group you just created and to recompose.

  I can understand more about the use of folio. xxx, but can not find good examples to use for the preview images.  () Folio.getPreviewImage I tried without success.  Oh, I should mention that it is version 2.  Many examples for version 1.

  If you make any changes to the location of the preview display, you can just replace the class ".folio-inch" to what the class (or id) is the element that you are wanting to render the preview in.

• How to make a good UI for the selection of the channels with DAQmx

  A lot of my Labview programming accompanied verisons them previous LabVIEW (pre Labview 7), and there are a ton of new features I am digesting (currently using Labview 8.2).

  My question is (in general), how people schedule their user interface for the selection of channels and others when using hardware DAQmx?  What I have in mind is a system compacDAQ with a number of modules.  The user would be able to choose which channels to watch.  With the help of MAX as part of this process seems counter intuative and somewhat static (yes I know you can change out there, but it feels more like something you would use for something that doesn't really change much).  I wish that all the UI within the VI.

  Programmers use the task of creating screw for this or something else?

  I tend to avoid using MAX and create all my channels/tasks using the DAQmx functions.  There are also having some DAQmx features that allow you to save/remove channels, tasks and scales to MAX.

• CLAD review for these latest candidates for the exam

  I'm planning for a review of CLAD.  I read a lot of questions posted on the forum LAVA and OR working on reviews of the example, but still not very confident. In particular, after seeing people who say real exam was much more difficult than the two sample reviews on NEITHER. I wonder if this is true for the recent review (summer, fall 2011)?  If someone who has just done the test, please verify this information

  I took the exam week OR and passed.  If you do well on the practice tests, you should be OK.  If you have trouble with practice exams, you need to carefully consider the issues that cause you problems, see if you need more work in a specific area.  It is reasonable to think that one or two questions maybe things with which you are unfamiliar, but if you see more than that, you probably need more training or experience.

  I just bought a ASUS X551MAV - EB01 - B Notebook Intel Baytrail - M Dual - Core N2830 (2.16 GHz) 4 GB memory 500 GB drive HARD Intel HD Graphics 15.6 "sorry 64-Bit Windows 8.1, I copied and pasted and that's how it came out... lol...: (... anyway I just found out it doesn't have a dvd player, so I was wondering if anyone out there had any idea of what would be a good post dvd to get for it.) I'm not real heavy in computers, just a burn may be a video or songs also, nothing special... I'm certainly not a geek, so to speak... Thanks in advance... :))

  Just go into a computer store and get one. They are all pretty much the same.
