  Currently have R720 Dell servers connected to N4032F with Dell twinax cables and

  Reference Dell EqualLogic SAN 6210 connected to N4032F with Dell twinax cables.

  Want to connect EMC VNX 5400 (a ports SFP + with the fiber GBIC)

  Can I remove the EMC VNX IGBC and connect it to the Twinax cables or what I put GBIC in N4032F and connect them with fiber?

  Or do I need something else? EMC asked if Dell stuff not active/active on their ports?

• FCoE Multihop EMC VNX 5300 to Cisco UCS FI / Series Blade B

  Hi all

  Having a performance problem with FCoE multihop of UCS.

  The presentation is as follows:

  UCS 5108 chassis--> 6248UP FI--> pair of N5k (5548)--> 10gig FCoE EMC VNX 5300 2 x 2 port card

  Everything is functional - I can't ping from tissues to the pwwn EMC n5k cf.

  I can see the paths in vmware on the vhbas everything is in place and active. The VMware is set to round robin and the side EMC ALUA 4.

  I'm at a loss on how to solve it more. The SAN is connected to the fabric with om3 fiber LC + 10 GB SR SFP. UCS has a pair separated from fcoe port fabric channels k 5 down to YEW (the help of twinax cables). The data are separated on its OWN virtual machine. Essentially, I followed the guide from cisco on how to proceed:

  The hosts are not boot from SAN for now, they are started from storage USB flash on the blade.

  The show on the 5ks flogi shows all connected, and as I said before, I can see the LUNS on the blades. When howerver I try uplod a file ISO DIS 2.5 GB in size in a data store takes about 2 ½ hours.

  I have the most recent UC 2.1 (2) a firmware installed. The N5ks have NX - OS 6.x. The blades have ESXi 5.1 with the latest drivers enet and installed cisco fnic.

  The default qos for n5k is configured.

  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  Interesting observation. We have an IP hsrp in catalyst 4500 as a router for network management with ip redirects on a reason any. I have disabled ip forwarding as well and currently I do 30K iops with fabric RR double active path and no error in the CPNI on esxi logs.

  I'll have to do additional tests to see the weather, that it is a coincidence or a fix, by activating the ip redirects again. But it looks promising.

  As my e/s load is done with the network management of e/s generator (http://labs.vmware.com/flings/io-analyzer) should have no effect on the routed network FCOE...  He latest even came to my mind to check network Ethernet side.

  We have an EMC VNX 5300 and we use it as our NAS storage. Everything works ok we seem to be problems with folders offline synchronization of files ok but when we delete the file in the folder it seems to remove it, but in fact it leaves orphaned. Someone has seen this. Help!

• Issues installing 8BF plugins for PSCS6 Master Collection 56KO

  I was tearing my hair for 5 days now trying to get other plugins that work with Paint Shop Pro X 5. I just bought a new laptop with windows 10 I needed more storage 2 TB after buying CS6 Adobe master collection. My previous laptop was 1 TB and started as windows 7 and 8.1 then 10. I have Photoshop CS3 installed on it but had never tried or thought of filters and plugins, until I started using PSPX5. I have also a PC desk top that I usually leave my laptop to my mom (after the taxi driver went with my last!) After the upgrade to windows 10 on PC I had a lot of problems to do most of my plugins 8BF previously used to work with PSPX5, I did a lot of research and came across FM Patcher witch makes the job for most of them, but I got to find and download the original still too but I was happy with that. Now, I have my new laptop and have installed Adobe CS6 Master Collection, I wanted to see if I could add all my plugins 8BF in photoshop (I have not yet tried on my PC). First I tried to put them in the PSCS6 plugins folder through the tent first 64 bit version but they never showed then made another location by editing > plugins and then selecting a different folder but still, they do not show. I then tried to install the 32-bit version of Photoshop, I had to choose the new location, as placing them in the Panel plugins folder in the program does not work either, but Hay presto I had some good work, but there are about 20 games that does not work! I had to do more research and I have all the DLLs installed and in the right place. I have read various tutorials on plugins and came through the Commander Plugin but here I get lost as most of the plugins that don't work is 56KO and all 8BF I downloaded the free version of light to try it but I don't know if it's the right program, because it did not work? (I'm not sure if the plugins that do not work I tried with Plugin Commander light are FFL)! ?? My final and last spring has been turn off DEP but it would not allow me to do it for Photoshop 64-bit or 32-bit but would allow me to do it for PSPX5. I don't want to disable it forever so I just disabled for PSPX5 and tried a few plugins that work on my desktop PC but not on my new laptop but they still worked! What Miss me?   I really enjoyed using PSCS3 mainly for the scrapbooking and manipulation of photo editing, but then I started using PSPX5 and was able to use it will be all my plugins for the design of my own cards of Christmas etc. Now, I'd like to be able to use the plugins in my Collection Adobe CS6 Master because it can do much more. Please notify.

  It's sounds like most of the filters that you are unable to work in photoshop cs6 are those made with Filter Factory.

  I would like to try this plugin and although it is not free. It is by far the best way to use the filters in modern versions of photoshop.

  MOST OF THE PEOPLE do not include rates and slowed down. Compositions of high refresh rate do not improve slowed. Video works in the same way that the movie doesn't. Pull each image on a projector that runs more slowly than your camera at a high frame rate and playback is running. Simple as that.

  Time remapping with interpolation is included in EI. If you shoot with your GoPro to 60 or more just to open the images in AE, interpreting the images as 29.97 or another frame rate standard as 24 or 23.976, then drop the images in a model with the same cadence and you will have slow mo without problem. It is the same as shooting the film at 60 frames per second, or 100 fps and threading the film upwards in a projector that works 24 fps. If you want to slow more use time-remapping.

  The only other very good plug-in is Twixtor, but it's expensive. All others are substantially the same as what is included in the EA.

  I watched tutorials for the voice recording in LPX, and many users seem to have WAY more Plugins for the recording of their song I have on mine...  I have been using LPX for about a month now, and I only have the Plugins that came with the library, which is about 20 or more for the recording of the voice (of hundreds of guitars!)

  How can I access all of these other vocal Plugins?  I download from outside LPX, or go by some additional content within LPX downloading?

  First of all, I think that what you are referring are dash "Patches" 'Plugins', that's what you see in the library on the left window (press on Y to toggle).

  Make sure you have all the sounds library downloaded in logic. Go to the Logic Pro X ➤ ➤ Sound Library Open Sound Library Manager and check if the audio library Manager window Tin all sounds are listed as "installed".

  

  A note on the video. Please do not follow these instructions when editing takes (i.e. singing). This isn't how you do it. How how you did years ago before I had "QuickSwipe Comping" in logic, which is much more easy, elegant, effective, BETTER.

• How to disable direct sound when you use a plugin for guitar?

  I use the Waves GTR plugin for recording guitar in Logic Pro X, but because it puts a lot of pressure on the CPU, I tried he governs through a "bus" instead of having the plugin separately on every guitar track. • Good UPS for two machines

  I have two mac pro which are used as file servers, so use the power minimum and idle most of the time. I would get a UPS that could hold them for 5-10 minutes (time for a script to execute in order to turn off the power). APC seem to have some nice models and I think that the SC620i would be a good choice but cable management appears to be serial. Can anyone recommend a good UPS for me that has a usb connection and a software for a mac to allow me to run a script to stop the machine.

Is the simple terminal AirPort Express good enough for my home network?

  Try to locate the Express up high on a shelf or Cabinet, if you can, to help in the dissemination of the signal.

  Fortunately, if you buy through Apple, you have one day 14, no questions asked return privilege, so if the Express does not provide the performance you need, you can return the unit for Exchange or a refund.
