  I was previously running 10.11.2 on my iMac mid-2011 (32 GB of RAM, 1 TB Samsung EVO SSD) and just ran the update to 10.11.3. I made a stop hard and under voltage after 10 seconds. The system started an on-screen connection and when I tried to log in, the system just hung with the loading gear runs for about 5 minutes. I gave up and made another hard stop and this time started in safe mode. While in SafeMode my account main would not load again, I made a hard stop and tried another account - success. So now that I know that there is something to the top with my user account, I tried to boot normally in other accounts - success.

  At this point, I'll try disk warrior to see if it will fix all problems running. I would run Onyx but the download comes of this order. If anyone has any experience with this update to sabotage their user account, please let me know.
