  Right-click on the desktop. Select Gadgets and the gadget gallery will be displayed. All the installed gadgets show be here as an icon with the right button on the specific gadget, that you want to remove from your desktop and select uninstall. That should do it.

  Recently, my calendar from Win7 Gadget started acting strange.

  Normally so I it is the small size and showing the month calendar.
