    It should work. I'm not very familiar with Mac. Make sure you are using the latest driver available for the card and reset the driver to their default settings.

  • GPU acceleration does not not with great .psd?

    My GPU acceleration works fine, but after I saved a large psd and quit, the next time I opened the file, the gpu is gray in the options. If I left the PS and restarted it, gpu would still work for news and other files, but when I try to open it even, acceleration is disabled every time - worked fine when I first created the file.

    Is there a reason why this file is especially suddenly incompatible with acceleration?  It's not really that big of a 600 MB file.  I would really like to know why this is happening and somehow get back my acceleration for this one file, I'm trying.

  • PS CS4 hardware acceleration is not available - GTX 260

    I tried searching forums without any luck... it's probably the most convoluted forum I've ever visited... in any case I also searched google without really a bit of luck, so I thought that I post here...

    I'm on Windows 7 Pro X 64 with a GTX 260 video card and I was never able to get hardware acceleration with PS CS4. The option is not completely available and so far it has not really bothered me.

    I looked through two other posts on similar topics and found the Open GL Registry hacks. Installed, influence them and restarted without any.

    I did a book on how to set up my Photoshop CS5 (<-capitalized to show the reverence, not good grammar) General preferences and it seems that the "Performance" tab missing the button "Open GPU Utility. I guess it has something to do with the type of graphics card I use (NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX in case it applies). in any case, someone please tell me where I can find my button.

    Be that as it may, your card is supported and should work fine.  Book, you may have written while they were using a version beta version which contained the utility.

  • GTX 470 lack of GPU acceleration

    Windows 7 64 - bit, 8 GB RAM, brand MSI GTX470, NOT games, use with Adobe CS5 applications. CS5 applications are updated to fixes loatest.

    I read a few other posts, but I have a few questions:

    (1) if the hardware monitor supplied with my GTX 470 is correct, and for the effects rendered first and transcoding in again with SOUL, % GPU used is about 1%, which should?

    (2) that I posted a question on the NVIDIA forum about my inability to add first Pro CS5 and Encore CS5 to the list of applications to GPU acceleration using the NVIDIA Control Panel. The * CS4 applications are listed but the Control Panel does not add CS5. I uninstalled CS4 for a long time, until I added the GTX 470.

    (3) today when I tried to load a project Premeiere Pro, I get a message saying that the mercury GPU acceleration "is not available on this system' and 'software only' mode will be used. What has changed? A way to recover?

    So basically, two sets of questions:

    (a) transcoding don't use GPU acceleration? Should not made in first Pro use it? What should I expect to NOT use the GPU acceleration, except video effects, which are quite clearly identified.

    (b) at - it something for CS5 or configuration GTX470 to enable GPU acceleration to use?

    1 CUDA real effects or non-CUDA? On what CPU? A slow CPU will not benefit from a fast processor.

    You could hop on the Intel site and let their driver update utility take a look at your system and if it offers a newer version of the video driver, consider installing it:

    I could solve the problem by going to the manufacturing of system site and download the updates I needed. Once I installed all the updates for my video driver, the games worked well.

    So, I built a computer in 2012. This worked well at the time, but I have recently moved house and have had the computer implementation in the study for a while and only put in place the other day. I started and activated windows, I installed DirectX 11 and updated all my drivers. But when I run dxdiag it says that acceleration DirectDraw, Direct3D acceleration and AGP Texture acceleration are not available. I have a Standard VGA graphics adapter and a card Intel(r) HD Graphics 4000 charged, both drivers are fully updated and the VGA is the main driver.

    So I was wondering if there is anyway to solve this problem.

    I solved the problem, that it turns out that I had some drivers AMD requiring an update, now my computer works fine and all the features of DirectX work.

  • The GPU acceleration is grayed out in first and AE, but not in Media Encoder. However, the rendering is slow in all 3 programs.

    It worked fine in CS6.

    Now, whenever I open a project (Pr or Ae) I get the message: this project has been modified used with accelerated by GPU rendering. This happens with all projects, even with those that I created in the Pr/Ae CC, with already disabled accelerated by GPU rendering.

    In Media Encoder, the GPU acceleration is not grayed out, but still if I made a first sequence or model ae via ME, its very very slow. (takes 5 hours for a video that took 20 minutes in CS6)

    Any thoughts?

    I didn't have the time to post it yesterday, but you have found similar work around. What is happening is the decoding of earlier projects, or projects of the same version even sometimes won't boot the MPE of hardware engine. These files are cached and won't clear for this sequence until you delete the cache. 1 way to do is to replace the clips. The easiest is in the future change the EMT of the material to the MPE software and select delete the files from the cache when it invites. Then return to the MPE material and clear the cache again. That recreates the decoded files cache that often solves this problem.

  • VMWare SVGA II pilot: not available Direct3D Acceleration

    When I run dxdiag on my virtual Windows XP workstation, it tells me that the Direct3D acceleration is not available.  Hardware acceleration is maximum and dxdiag reports that DirectDraw acceleration is turned on, so I don't understand why the Direct3D is not available.

    In the real world, the graphics card is integrated into my host computer and is a Matrox G200e map.  Tried to ensure that the display drivers for both physical and virtual are up-to-date, and they seem to be their latest versions, so I'm officially stumped.

    The MX440 will work with the version of Windows Workstation 6.5.0 (you will always miss shaders and therefore will not support DirectX 8ish).  It might even work with the Linux version of workstation, but still, you're going to Miss support for shaders.

I decided to update my video card for EVGA 660Ti with many more CUDA processors and 3 GB of memory, but when I made the video I got this message "the project last used with Mercury Playback Engine acceleration GPU, which is not available on this system." Software playback engine Mercury only will be used. "and it seemed that the rendering is slower. Even if the newer video cards EVGA have more memory and processor and power more CUDA cores and best score on Intex experience Windows, Adobe does not approve them and say that they use the GPU Merecury Playback Engine acceleration. Why? Quadro cards are much more expensive have less memory, less CUDA cores but are rated higher by Adobe for creating and rendering, why is - this? What gives? Why EVGA which seem more powerful and cheaper cards rated lower than cards Quadro? This will never change?

    These cards just have not been tested yet, is all.  But if you go in the program of the PP folder and just delete the cuda_supported_cards.txt file, you should be good.
