Graph: to move wave automatically to coordinate

Nice day

Can I know how to move the cursor automatically in the waveform graph

example: I knew Y = 2 what is the value of x is...

should what property node properties I use?

also attached my vi (data to coordinate the XY with the cursor)

Best regards

How do you resets a graph of mixed signals automatically?

My idea is like that - I'm drawing a chart throughout the day... Then, at 19:00, I want the chart to erase. There will be a break until 06:00. It will therefore start a new graph at 06:00. How can I do this? It seems easy, but I can't find the solution. Thanks in advance!

    Why local variables are useless?

It's a missquote, I'm afraid: I didn't say local variables are unnecessary, even if some would align themselves with this statement. I said that they are in your case. In VI you have published everything first, you are passing data from local variable that can be better spent by wire sind, the variables are literally next to each other. While you might get lucky in a program of this size, it can cause a world of problems in a larger application.

Back to your problem: after watching your new VI, I'd say you're almost there. Separate features in the two loops does not seem necessary. Instead of the value property, you can try the method reinitialize I mentioned earlier, that should do it.

Then you can add a feature that reinitilizes only once by comparing the range in the previous iteration.

BTW: this select function is code of rube goldberg. Why not use the Boolean result of the node equal to the cases.

  • Vi transitional measure displayed in the graph of the wave are moving outside the scale

With the help of a graph of a waveform to display the pressure over time. I wanted to be able to calculate the time to drop in pressure over time, so I use the vi transitional measure. I copied what was exactly in the example for the measurement of transition inside help and it is correctly determine when to transition down, but I'm having a problem with the cursors in waveform graph. I would like to see a set of greenery along the fall time start and end time of fall as pictured, I have attached the vertical sliders (capture2) as in the example. The problem is the two always begin to 3.43 (capture1) and after each sampling period they (4.34, 5.34, 6.34) increment him come right out of all of the output of transition as these numbers measure. The period of the signal that I am interested is always less than 2 seconds, so I never see the vertical sliders.

I tried replacing it by my signal daq with an sine wave signal generator and it does the same thing.

The block diagram is in the first capture

also, I would be interested to know exactly how the numbers wired to the cursor property active of the property of a waveform graph node toward real sliders on the chart. They are just automatically numbered starting at 0 from the top down?

    Wayland

    Hi Wayland,

The sliders are still apparent in the example VI for the transitional Measurement.vi, is because the generated signal is always set to zero. Thus, signal resets a 'new' signal for the sliders to move and therefore always on the same location a bit. The waveform graph is also configured so that it won't move or continue to show new incoming data, data sliders have moved on. So in your case, you want to click with the right button on the chart and make sure that "Ignore Time Stamp" is not checked/selected. This will make it so the graph continues with your incoming data and cursors. You can check it in the example file by removing the constant True is the generator of signals and change the mentioned time stamp option previously.

In order to view the available sliders as well as their position numbered, you can right-click in the waveform graph and select Properties. In the Properties window, there is a tab of cursors, inside this tab at the top is a drop-down menu that lists all available sliders, indexed starting with 0 at the top.

  • Why do I only a part of the graph of the wave even if I added the whole wave using the shift register?

It seems only to read 200 samples and then stop. Shouldn't get a chart to continuous wave after using the shift over a time register loop?

You must remove VI begin to break out of the loop...
You can not 'start' a task that is already running...

You also remove the VI start completely from your code... If you do not use start VI, a measurement task starts automatically when executing the DAQmx reading VI.

    Hello

You could hang yourself to listen when a node is expanded (itemOpen) and you can assign your item open after the firstVisibleItem property.

If you really want to have your piece of expansion in the middle of the tree, keep in mind that a tree is a ListBase and use selectedIndex to make some calculations about who you shoul put firstVisibleItem, so you can have your element of expansion in the middle.

  • Move a clip to coordinates

I'm trying to get a movieclip to position itself when clicked; so that everywhere where the exact place I click on it, this place moves to the point from coordinates x: 300 y: 250. For example, if I click on the lower left corner, then the clip re - positions itself to that until the lower left x: 300 y: 250. No idea how should I approach the issue?

  • Move a mask using coordinates of a Tracker?

Camera on a tripod, position, set a man with a hat walking right to left, facing a wall. I am able to follow the man's head, no problem, with the help of the bandwagon, turn. On a second layer (same video), I add a mask, top hat of the man. This hides all but one part of the wall, slightly larger than the hat of the man.

    Challenge:

I want to animate the mask, and position it just above the head of man, to give the impression that the man has no hat - to remove the hat. The wall is unevenly lit, so I want the mask to move as close as possible man.

(This is just an example, I want to know how to move a mask by using data from a Tracker)

I watched many video tutorials, some of them seem to do what I want, but they are so complex that I fall off the wagon before I understand how they do it, as I'm new to After Effects.

    ingvarai

    Ingvarai;

Currently, there is not directly (or at least a top) how to apply the movement of the track to the position of the mask data. A user did write a script that allows you to apply data to the individual vertices mask.

However, what a lot of users do is: apply the mask to a layer of soild, apply tracking to the position of the layer data, and then set the solid as a cache alpha of the layer you want to hide.

Once said, keep in mind that after effects help on the web has not only all of the content of this manual, but it's also an incredible resource oriented community that points to a large number of tutorials, forum posts and many other useful bits. If you do a search for 'follow-up masks', you will be delighted with the amount of information you will find

  • Move the function of automatic selection of the tool is not capture several objects on drag / select.

I know that the title of this discussion is a bit murky, but the problem is a little weird.  I have Photoshop CS6 v13.1.2.  In this version, I will activate the selection, automatic check selection tool: layer, select Show transform controls and then while using the selection tool, I will drag to create a rectangle to select several layers with content in the specified area.  Unfortunately, this action doesn't work when I start the selection of outside of the area of the canvas.  If started from in the space of the canvas, any rectangle will appear, it will show me a measure of the size of my choice, and then choose without diapers as soon as available.

This may not be working as intended, right?  I mean multi-Select drag cannot be wanted only work when started outside the canvas on the right?  Is there a way to fix this?  Is this a bug?  See the images below for more information on this issue.

    outside-canvas.pnginside-canvas.png

If you have the tool move on automatic selection, and you begin to drag inside the canvas... It will not work as you expect that it is not selectable area unless the point where you click to start the drag operation (such as a locked layer or transparency)

When you do it the way you describe... the move tool self-selecting a layer and pass only a layer.

Look at your layer panel and see which layer targeted to your insertion point of the trail. And lock it.

  • Graph XY lasso data points

Hello. I am looking for a way to draw several XY cursors, then use a lasso (like paint or photoshop) tool to select a subset of the sliders.

Lasso would allow the user to outline to draw a region with the mouse to select cursors within the lassoed area.

Labview graphics can do this natively? Or maybe someone knows an elegant solution to achieve this?

    Hi Marksyn,

No, that behavior is not native in LabVIEW.

First off, the selection can be rectangular, or should it be a "freeform"? The latter will be much more difficult to write, but it could look like this.

Build an event structure and case of mouse event down / mouse upwards (to keep track of when you press the button) and mouse move the XY graph. In the case of mouse move, LabVIEW returns the coordinates of the mouse control panel each time it moves. For the XY coordinates, use a node to invoke the graph with the method "Panel of XY coordinates." Make a list of all the XY coordinates until the mouse button is released. This table is your free form boundary. The tricky part now is to get a list of the "sliders" (or do you mean data points?) included in this limit. Let us know when you make it that far.

  • MyDAQ - generation of a digital signal and display on an analog waveform graph

    Hello

I use the MyDAQ OR generate a digital waveform with a Frequency adjustable. This is implemented in a program, I already wrote it, which generates a TTL 'like' impulse out of the sound card. I display the result on a graph of analog wave form, and I would like to be able to display the digital signals generated by the myDAQ on the same graph. (Not in the same time, one or the other, activated by a button). I've been messing around with tables and conversions, but I can't really do with all this.

It's the vi, I did to generate the digital signal of frequency with MyDAQ. Any suggestions on how to do this if the following is false, would be great too, as I just got the MyDAQ a few days ago. I think there must be a better way, but it's the best I could come up with so far.

    Hi Jonny,

The General logic, that you use to create a digital pulse train is very good. This VI you wrote should work and create the pulse train based on timing of software (which is fine because you have not DIO clocked by the material on the myDAQ anyway). However, it is generally advised to start the DAQmx task just before your time loop and then disable the task after the while loop when you press stop.

For reference, there are a few examples of good enough LV that I recommend you watch too much for this application. If you try just to create a digital pulse train, the example Gen dig Pulse Train - Continuous.vi is a good example that uses a counter to create a digital pulse of your desired frequency train. It is generally the preferred method to create a pulse train, if you have equipment available to do (the myDAQ there a meter). Otherwise, there are a few examples DIO who write continuously in a digital line / port.

If you are unfamiliar, you can find the examples by clicking Help > examples find... into LV then navigate to hardware input and output > DAQmx > generating digital impulses or the digital generation.

Also, here is some additional information on the myDAQ and its counters:

    Hope this helps.

  • How can I fix my resolution when it will automatically from high to low?

Since I installed my touchsmart 610-1180qd I had problems with passing automatically to 640 x 480 resolution.  When I try to change the resolution in the Control Panel, the resolution button is not highlighted. I have to turn on my computer works to return to the initial setting high resolution. I called technical support 4 - 5 times all ready without solution. I'll give them another call, but if anyone knows what is the problem, I would appreciate your help.

I also have the same problem with the resolution of the screen change after the mode 'sleep'.  After being unable to find a solution to the problem on the internet, I have played around with my settings and have found what seems to be a viable solution (at least for me).  I say this because I know that the issue is not yet resolved, but at least I found a way to keep my video resolution even after the return of the mode 'sleep'.  I have tested my 'solution' for the week past and have found that it works... until now.  So without further ADO, here is what I did:

(This process which requires you to write your settings of resolution in a two steps)

First of all, you need to open the 'NVIDIA control panel '.  This can be done by right-clicking on a any part of the homepage and selecting "NVIDIA control panel", or will the taskbar (next to the clock) and right click on the NVIDIA icon.  Once you are in the Control Panel, select "Change resolution" under the heading "display".  When everything is working properly, you will see your "recommended" setting, as well as all the other parameters available.  Then click on the 'Customize' button which will open a pop-up window.  In this window, click on the button 'Create Custom Resolution'.  This will bring up a context menu that allows to display all of your current settings (for example Horizontal pixels, vertical lines etc.).  There are 17 variables, you will need to register.  Once you have entered these parameters, you can put your computer in mode 'sleep' to activate the resolution problem.  For me, I had to wait some time before the issue of the resolution would surface (an indication that the problem occurred before even to see the screen was a sound the computer would just before you wake.)  It's the sound that makes Windows when you connect a usb device and windows detects it).

Now that your screen resolution has changed (a very undesirable occurrence), you must make your way to the NVIDIA Control Panel.  It is extremely difficult due to the large size of the windows and such (I had to hide my taskbar automatically in order to access all the necessary buttons).  You will need to then press the button 'Customize' and 'create a custom resolution' button once more.  Once there, you can enter your 'custom' variables, even if they are the real '' recommended '' for your resolution settings.  (Tip: under the "calendar" section, you may need to move from "automatic" to "manual" in order to access the lower set of variables.)  Once you have finished, click on the 'test' button, and your resolution should be back to normal.  I think he will ask you if you want to preserve settings, and if they are to your satisfaction, then click Yes.  Once you have done this, it will save your settings 'customized', so that when your computer becomes crazy and changing your resolution again, it will be pushed to change for your custom configuration.

Some things to note, you can't create and save a custom setting when your computer is not working properly because it will just tell you that it is a double parameter.  Your can only create and save the custom setting when the computer has been removed and all parameters available in addition to 640 x 480.  That's why you go through all the trouble in resolution 640 x 480.  That's what I did to make my computer 'Act' normal after the mode 'sleep'.  It has worked for me so far, but I know that the problem is still there because all the other resolutions are missing (next to 640 x 480 and my "custom" of the 1920 x 1080 resolution).  Of course once you restart your computer, all your choices of resolution will be back.

If this does not work for you, I'm sorry.  I'm not an it expert by any means.  I couldn't stand having to restart my computer whenever he entered mode 'sleep'.  I am very disappointed that hp has not addressed this issue or have found a real solution to it, but at least I can leave my computer goes into sleep mode now.  I tried to be as detailed as possible in my explainantion of measures to take, but feel free to ask if you have any questions.   I'll try to clarify if I can, but as I said, I'm no computer expert, and I could not be able to answer your actual technical questions.

    Good luck to you all.

What I'm trying to do, is they have their colors transition not only randomly and constantly, but in unison. The transition should be smooth, he can't just instantly red watch in an image, then green in the other. I should be able to see it changed to green, or whatever color is selected at random.

Directly from the FAQ on the page TweenMax:

"Can I set up a series of tweens so that they produce one after another? ."

Of course! It is precisely that TweenLite and TweenMax are for. However if the file size is an important concern and you need not all the fancy Extras those tools, you can just use the delay property in TweenMax. Here's an example where we tint a MovieClip Red over 2 seconds and then move it to a coordinate y 300 during a second:

    ActionScript:
    1. import com.greensock.TweenMax;
    2. TweenMax.to (mc, 2, {tint: 0xFF0000});
    3. TweenMax.to (mc, 1, {y: 300, delay: 2}); »
