• Presentation of graphical query editor

  Hi all

  Im very very new in adobe flash cs4, started working with Lynda tutorials. OFC they explain all the little details so here I ask the pros:

  The "timeline", graphic, in my query editor is much too large. That is the distance between the second second 1 and 2 is like 5 times the size as in the normal timeline.

• IMac broke with GPU known issue (alternative program)...

  In October 2015 one of my 27 "mid-2011 iMacs suddenly fell down with 'Graphics problems' making it completely unusable. I started a thread here on the forums to see if anyone could help identify and perhaps offer a solution to the problem, but unfortunately my post even never received a response.

  The problem for me is I didn't this problem because it was not until October 2015, of which he appeared on my iMac and it seems articles than apples without difficulty / replacement program ended in March 2015.

  I was wondering so that no fault of my own not knowing not this problem existed (after all how could I that the problem never arose for me until October 2105) that if Apple could let me know if maybe my iMac may still be repaired by Apple of the known program of the cause and the replacement , or least to have Apple repair my iMac at a discount price for what is after all a machine that was sold by Apple, but later identified by Apple as having a known issue with the bulk of this material.

  Ask you here as a last resort to try to save this expensive (for me) piece of kit that I got some quotes given by computer repair specialists to repair this iMac ranging more than £650 to well over 800 pounds, which, at these prices, for would make me a repair totally impossible for me to pay even less justified.

  Can anyone Apple please comment on this issue and tell me that maybe there's a chance that I can have this repair performed by Apple either free or at a fair price because it is such a shame to see such a great computer basically end up on the scrap heap, thank you.

  I was a loyal customer of Adobe for 20 years. I'm a graphic designer and video editor. A question. A good idea to post the question in this forum what is called a techie Adobe (in India). Had to do with coding .html pages in Dreamweaver.  Really dangerous things, I guess. Next thing I know I get an email from the administrator of the so-called indicating that my question has been rejected and dismantled.  No explanation, of course.

  Really sours my opinion of Adobe support, which up til this sad episode has been uniformly positive. Hey, administaror... hurry... take it down too!  But I call Adobe support to let them know the good work you do for not respecting their clients.

• Labelling

  Hi Experts,
  
  I am developing an application using BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.2 bar graph. I'm looking for any ways that we can rename the labels on the X axis. The current value for the various bars is 1,2,3,4 I need to decode for easy, medium, hard, Expert, respectively.
  
  So according to the value in the place 1 easy should print on the axis x and similarly for the others.

  It will be difficult to help you here without seeing your xml data structure. Also, the best way to do this to put in another field in your DataSet with the decoding in your query to values such as Easy, hard etc and use this column. If you want to do in the RTF, you will have to manipualate the graph code and it can get messy and not recommended...

  However, here is what you can try: prior to this process, be sure to make a copy of your model...

  Generate a graph with the values appearing as 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. then copy and paste the code for the graphic into a text editor. You can find the code for the chart by right clicking on the graph and then selecting 'size', and then Alt-Text.

  Search for the tag . You will find a code similar to this:

  You need to replace this code with something like: I'm assuming that the "complexity" is the name of the field that has the values 1, 2, 3, 4 etc...

• Cannot pull the yellow handles in the top and bottom graphics editor

  I'm trying to find a solution for more than an hour already.

  I can't shoot the yellow handles in the graph editor anywhere as I see in all the tutorials. I only can it pull to the left or right and make it more or less long. But when I try to pull up, the whole point will go up as well.

  You're not be attentive to your tutorial. This behavior is perfectly normal as the temporal speed graphics. Tangents only modifiable for graphs of value.

• graphics editor showing 2 separate curves

  Hello.

  Suddenly my graphic editeor manifested 2 dimensions separate x and y, although Separte Dimensions button is off. How to return the single curve for x and y in the graphics editor?

  

  Click on the button "Select the type of chart" (the one just after the eye your image) in the menu, choose "change the speed graph.

  You will get the rear speed (instead of value graph) graph.

• Curves not editable in the graphics editor?

  Are the curves in the graph Editor is not supposed to be standard Béziers with standard editing techniques? I am very good at controling Bezier curves in any application (including the tool pen in AE), the adjustment in the graphics editor handles do not appear to follow the same rules.

  For example: If the starting control point is set to the deceleration, it has an adjustment handle to the right, which I can move horizontally only. It is not controlled anything to drag the adjustment handle at an angle, to change the shape of the curve, by the point. If I click with the tool control point convert pen (including Alt + click on) the curve becomes a straight line. ALT + clicking on the curve again does not change it to a point of the movable curve. It also seems possible to slide a handful of point or control command with the pen convert tool, which is how I normally get a second adjustment handle or change a line in a curve.

  The creation of points with the pen tool add also does not create control points which behave normally. The documentation makes no mention of this and described as standard, editable traces of Bézier curves. Everything in AE CS4 seems to operate normally.

  Someone has an idea?

  They are, but AE makes a distinction between temporal and spatial properties very strictly. So for the position properties, you see the speed curve that results, not the underlying spatial interpolation. for other properties, you can alternate betwwen value and speed, however. In addition, with the exception of the Auto Bezier, the in and out tangents are always treated as distinct. It's a little weird, but you'll have to get used to it for the moment. Maybe one day it will get proper treatment...

• How to have a minimum value of 0 by using the graphical editor

  Okay, so I thought he did this automatically based on the lowest point, in this case, a line graph. He did it for one of my graphics, but not the other, and I tried everything I could think of to fix this on my own.

  I have three charts created at the present time. The first points ranging from 0 to 25, and the axis will display a label value minimum value 0 label and a maximum of 30. So far so good.

  The second graph has only points ranging from 25 to 29, and its axis is displays a minimum value of 24 label and the label of the maximum value of 30. Photo below. It's exactly what I want for the third chart as well.

  If not, is it possible to events when the axis interval is changed, for example by a zoom action?

  There is no direct way to customize the range Editor, but you can use the RangeChanged event to monitor when the axis interval is changed.

• inserting submenu items via the code - not the file editor graphics *.uir (not the edit > > Menu Bars... method!)

  How submenu items are constructed by code and not the edit menu bar settings in the *.uir Editor?  NemMenuItem (...) does not do that, or I'm not plugging in parameters correctly, which I doubt is the case.  BTW, he has no explanation in the help of v.8.0.1 AIC menu items on NewSubMenu (...) and how to use the subMenuHandler for all other functions.  At least everything I found had nothing to do with submenu items.  Is it impossible to do it by programming?

• Editor - Custom paper sizes now unusable section - why?

  For some reason, when I go to print in Publisher, all my custom paper sizes, as I entered are in the unusable section in the drop-down menu paper size. I am trying to print on a single sheet. They do not appear and are accessible when I go to print in mosaic. Y at - it a setting I need to change?

• PS Elements 14 editor will download no graphics

  I recently downloaded / upgraded to my iMac to 14 PS elements.  It works on OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (checked and said that I've updated). In the editor, I'm now trying to use the graph feature to put in pictures, background, etc.. The only feature that seems to work is "text".  When I try active / use the other features, the following message appears. All other functions (e-mail, Web sites, etc.) using the internet are functioning normally. I checked the updates on PSE 14 and am up to date. Please notify.

• How to select the right and left a track audio channels in the graphics editor?

  I put my 2 keyframes for gradual and hit the chart next to the Audio levels. Then in the graph Editor to see the slope of the fade.

  I would like to use the Bezier handles to edit bland. But when moving them around it just doesn't move right and left audio channels separately, and I have no idea how to adjust them in unison or at least take the other to the same position as the first.

  In General, audio Ae tools are not only versatile, so do not expect to have a hard time with them. your questions - it seems that if you want to manipulate the keyframes for Audio levels in the graph Editor, you will need to adjust the two handles, one at a time.

  two workaround solutions: I can think of:

  1. If you want to control the volume, it is better still to use stereo mix effects and not audio levels. It also has 2 values, only this time both are visible in the timeline panel if you can drag the two simultaneously (how you couldn't front with audio levels) and manipulate your chart.

  2. If you still want to control audio levels after reading the 1st work around: you can connect your audio levels to a cursor of expression: Add a cursor of expression to your audio layer alt now (Effects-> expressions-> slider control control) click on sound levels to activate the expressions for this layer and drag the pickwhip expression. This will make the slider to control the sound levels and you'll have only one value in the graph Editor.
