Graphics card for Adobe first Pro CC 2014 compatibility

Hello

I am a reseller of Australia and our customer asked a powerful computer with s GTX780 graphics card that is on the compatible list on the

" " Recommended AMD and NVIDIA graphics for the GPU acceleration cards" link on this site Adobe Premiere Pro system requirements

Our distributors have recommended the GTX780 is stopped and I need to get another card with similar specs and around the same pricing chart.

Someone out there a recommendation of what model would be a good substitute?

I appreciate all the comments.

Kind regards

Alicia Bird

First supports almost any CUDA/OpenCL modern map - see: http://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2013/06/adobe-premiere-pro-cc-and-gpu-support.html

So even if maps as the 980 GTX (which is in fact the latest version of the 780) aren't on the official-configuration page required - they will work well.

    Hi Sheila,

    Try this:

Before you import your files, go to file > project settings > General and change the rendering engine video software of Mercury playback engine only. Click OK, and then select Remove previews. Then import your files.

I would like to know if it works.

Technically, this Setup will work in Premiere Pro. In reality, however, your experience change with such a configuration will be desperately slow. In fact, slower than some currents of bottom-of-the-barrel mobile, let i3-powered desktop computers only current generation.

So I got this computer by a neighbour who has moved recently. He went about its appearance and shape in big enough but its alittle outdated. especially I would like to know what type of graphics card is best for this computer because it is a type of SFF.

I would also like to know bonus how much GB of memory, I can max this out at?

    Thanks for the help.

    Hello:

I would recommend the Radeon HD 6450 low profile card with low profile mounting support for this model, which, incidentally, is a 6005 pro, not a Pro 6500.

HP is currently only 6300 Pro Series competition.

Personally, I like the fanless models but in a SFF case, according to me, that you really do need a fan to push the heat out of there more quickly that a passive heat sink can, but it's up to you.

These video cards are optionally on the HP SFF equipments 6200 Pro that has the same 240 W P/S as yours.

    You can install up to 4 x 4 GB (16 GB) PC3-10600.  DDR3-1333 Mhz

  • Adobe first Pro CC 2014.2 has stopped working error

    Hello guys,.

Recently, I built a new computer with the following specifications:

    CPU: 4790 k (stock speed)

    RAM: Team Extreem 16 GB (2 x 8) (2400 mhz)

    Motherboard: Asus Ranger 7

    GPU: 780ti Zotac Amp Edition

Storage: 250SSD Samsung evo + Barracuda 1 TB

    PSU: 850 G2 EVGA

    Operating system: Windows 7 Professional

All the drivers are up to date.

So I installed the creative cloud and then to install the applications in the following order: Media Encoder, Photoshop, and first Pro CC. The media and photoshop have no problem but first CC pro crashes when you click on.

I would click on the first button CC pro and the loading screen pro first will pop up but then her 'has stopped working error' will occur immediately.

I need to get this problem is resolved in the next few days because I need it for a very important video project. If this problem cannot be fixed in the next 2 days, unfortunately, I have to pay my subscription with adobe (still within 28 days) and use Cyberlink or Vegas.

I have tried searching the forums and google but you have not found a solution that works for me. Could someone please lend a hand?

Thanks for posting a screenshot of the Windows system information dialog box: StartMenu > Control Panel > system. (You can scramble all remove the computer, by domain name and workgroup down settings).

A common cause of accidents involving the ImageRenderer.dll is not have Service Pack 1 installed for Windows 7.

  • Need of new graphics card for my Satellite Pro P100

    Hello
My Toshiba Satellite Pro P100 has no display screen or an external monitor, it has a separate Nvidia Geforce go 7600 graphics Card.
Can any body tell me if I can get a replacement card?

    Thank you

How do you know your laptop has a separate graphics card?
Have you had success out of the mainborad?

Sorry these issues but I m a bit confused. As far as I know graphics card is part of mainborad and cannot be replaced separately.

  • Need of new graphics card for my Satellite Pro M10

    Hello

I guess that my graphics card is broken because the quality of the screen is bad a flickering with green stripes. Almost impossible to read what is on display. In the list of devices, the graphics card is marked with the yellow triangle symbol.

Its seems not to be a driver issue because it's the same thing at the start when you get into the bios (before windows xp starts).

Is it possible to change the graphics card myself? I know, could be difficult, but I guess that I am capable of killing.
    But what card I can use? Now, it's a GeForce4 Go 410.
Can I take a better as long as it's the same size and the need for cooling than the former? How do you know that you can adapt and where to buy?

    I hope someone can help.

    Thanking you in advance.

    Andreas

    Hello

Unfortunately, you cannot swap the graphics card because it s soldered on the main PCB (printed circuit board). If theres anything with Exchange of DIY. You will need to swap the whole motherboard to fix this error.
Then if you still have warranty then bring your machine in an ASP. You can also bring your machine to an ASP when not in warranty, but you will be charged for the Exchange/repair of the motherboard and in your case, it could cost about 300-$500 (I'm just guessing, it can be much more expensive..)

So if you really want a machine to work again then check this link:

  • Why can't Adobe first Pro CC 2014 time remap Audio and Video together?

In case you haven't noticed, my question is WHY.  I don't know why Premiere Pro can't do that.  What I understand at the moment, the only way to time remap audio in anyway shape using the software Adobe is Adobe After Effects, that my computer has no chance of ever being run through.  I know how to stretch a regular hearing and Premiere Pro audio, but apparently I can't time remap audio using these programs.

So why can't Adobe Premiere Pro time-remapping audio with the video?  What is the reason that he can't?  It's a disappointment, huge and very impressive to see in the future.  If it is possible to time remap audio and video in After Effects, which is great and all, except for the fact that I can't use this program.  Why can't we do in Premiere Pro, and it will be always possible in Premiere Pro?

In addition, audio time remapping will become possible in hearing one day?

This looks like a very good idea.  File a feature request:

  • Re: Code release for Adobe first Pro CC (2015.3) 147

In the case where someone else like me falls on this issue, the only way I could fix it was in running Adobe Creative cloud as an administrator before clicking the button install for Premiere and After Effects.

Permissions Windows 10 dialog box seems to have changed since the accepted answer has been written, or I somehow have a different configuration. There is no tab "Owner" available for the adobeTemp folder, and all of its content is deleted immediately after attempt installation of anyway, so there is no way manually apply permissions inherited files installation as shown in the previous procedure.

I tried restarting the computer and even to grant "full control" to the users group on adobeTemp without a bit of luck.

In my case, this is the error I got for the Premiere and After Effects, sometimes for "MyriadPro Regular" and sometimes "AdobeArabic-Regular:

    Exit code: 147

    -------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

    -fatal error 2, 0 error (s), 1 warning (s)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

However, Adobe Creative Cloud right-clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator" allowed Premiere and After Effects be installed easily and without error.

The police already existed in the Windows fonts folder, also, so I think that headache could be avoided if:

    (a) the installation program checked if she needed copy this file before you try to do

    (b) the installation program has always required elevation to run

  • How to properly configure a graphics card for SpeedGrade, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects?

Okay, so I have the following system configuration:

    2 NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970 s

    5960 X CPU

    MSI X 99 game 7 motherboard

    32 GB DDR4 RAM

256 GB and 1 TB Samsung 850 Pro SSD

Basically, even if I have the whole system built together, I'm not sure how check and know whether or not Adobe Premiere Pro is in fact using the map graphic or not.  I know it has to be using some of them, otherwise it would not run correctly (as I discovered a recent experience).  However, I don't know if there is, perhaps, some settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel that must be configured so that Premiere Pro can use the card to its full potential.  Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

    iVSmo66.pngJudvG6a.png

In other words, they are (I'm sure) all of the default settings of the Control Panel applies to Premiere Pro.  However, I don't know if there are any parameters here that I should change or not.  So what I'm looking for an answer to this question:

    • What parameters, if any, should change for Premiere Pro (as well as other adobe applications that can use all the force of the 970 GTX)?
    • How can I check the GPU activity it is applied during rendering?  (For example, I can check with the Task Manager, CPU usage while I made to see that it is used at 100%).
    • If, perhaps, something goes wrong and even with the right settings, say that the card still is not fully used, what other settings can I change to ensure that the GTX 970 is fully used by Adobe first Pro/After effects/SpeedGrade CC 2014?

If you want a reference point to measure the performance of Premiere Pro to your: drive system, GPU and CPU use our first Pro BenchMark (PPBM)

When you finish running the test and then run the script, you will get this report

In this case the result of my laptop (with a GTX 765 M GPU and SSD drives)

    1. The disk performance are explicit.
    2. Number 2 is a very complex timeline of seven layers with heavy assistance from CPU and GPU, without hardware acceleration GPU (processor only) should be longer than 1350 seconds.
    3. Three above is a measure of a chronology exaggerated using many, many GPU MPE accelerated effects and characteristics using a GPU to 99% of load (54 seconds above) and an export-only CPU of the same timeline (802 seconds).

If you want to compare your results to others, that you need to register on the site PPBM7 to see the results.

EDIT! I corrected the number 2 above originally, I said 900 seconds, but he was really longer than 1350 seconds
