  I have a HP Officejet Pro 8610 is barely more than a year.  After the upgrade to Windows 10, he isn't properly print PDFS.  It shows the document correctly in the preview, but prints large blocks of black over the areas with a print on the preview.  Uses tons of ink until you realize that it is printing large blocks of black Uni.  The document makes it useless.  I did 2 PDF files with the same results - I thought that the first was the provider, but the second one was from another source.  I deleted and reinstalled the program 3 times.

  What program are you printing from?  I've seen a number of cases like this which has been solved by using Acrobat (free) DC to print documents.

  5. you will remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

  6. are you able to display a print preview mode for the same before you start to print?

  You can check if the page print settings are correct and encoding is set to Unicode UTF.

  To check the print settings

  a. open Internet Explorer, click file in the menu and click on layout. Check if all options are properly set.

  To check for coding,

  a. open Internet Explorer, click view on the menu, and select Encoding. Check the option for Unicode UTF.

• "Save as Adobe PDF" missing from the dialog box print from Mac

  I've just upgraded to a new machine, and the "Save as Adobe PDF" option is missing in the PDF menu in the print dialog.  I'm on Mac OS 10.8.3 and SC 6.  I think that Acrobat X is supposed to automatically install this option in the main print dialog box; What can I do to get it installed if he stays out of the initial CS6 displays?

  I don't think that the Automator application is obsolete. It works for me on two computers that are running the latest version of Mac OS X 10.8.3 and Acrobat Pro XI. Maybe there is a problem with Acrobat X Pro and Mac OS X 10.8.3.

  You can try to uninstall Acrobat X Pro and reinstall to see if the Automator application works.

  Additionally, make sure that you update Acrobat X Pro to the last update.

  After replacing the black ink tank, the printer does not print black data (text or graphic).  I ran printing HP and scan doctor utility and printed assessment page.  The text is printed in a pale blue color. Gray scale apperas block (far right) to have no black content and has a hint of cyan.

  OK because that is a thing of warranty which may be worth dip the printhead as described below...

  (1) get a pan and put 1/2 "of very hot (not boiling) water in the bottom.
  (2) remove all ink cartridges, then remove the print head Assembly.
  (3) gently put the printhead nozzles down in water and soak for 5 minutes.
  (4) remove the print head and gently dry the electrical contacts.
  (5) replace the print head in the printer and then reinstall the ink cartridges.

• DOC ID color prints MOST of the items in gray scale.

  Help, please.  I'm at the end of my rope.  Deadline looming.

  I have an identity document which is of all colours.  When I go to print it, no matter if it is set to the color ID management or printer color management, most of the elements of the page out in gray scale.  It is a perfect representation of the document, only in grays.  Curiously, there are elements that print in color.  Even more strange, an object from a file will be printed in the perfect color, but HAVE another object of the same file in the same doc ID will be printed grey.

  Everything is CMYK.  I even use Bridge for control of colors between the programs.  I can't understand this.

  Any advice?

  I have my preferences print equals quick project and grayscale to save ink on printing all day, which works fine when I print from Word.  However, when I print the content of the internet, it prints in color.  Are there different setting for internet printing?

  No, there aren't any different settings for Internet printing. I always find that none of my preferences actually stick. They can do so at the time of printing, but as soon as the printer is turned off and then turned on again all preferences are lost and return to the default value of the printer who, as you might have guessed, are designed to use as much ink as is humanly possible.

  I'm afraid when you print from the web, you will have to try to remember to re - define your preferences via the print options to ensure that the web page are, indeed, printed in gray, quick project, rather than the normal levels and color.
