  Just installed the new major update of Win10. When will be able to connect with Gracenote when you import music from a CD to iTunes?

  It doesn't seem to be a link between issues with Gracenote and updates of Windows 10.  The last - which is usually accompanied by a cryptic error "no error" message, or one that says 'User unregistered for use online' - usually come from corruption to one of iTunes preference files.  Try the following:

  1. Quit iTunes
  2. In the Windows search box, enter %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto in the address bar, press .  This will open the C:\Users\username\AppData\Roamingfolder.  Then open the Apple Computer and in this framework the iTunes file.
  3. Delete the following files:
     • CD Info.cidb
     • com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
  4. Restart iTunes
  5. Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote

  If this does not work:

  1. In iTunes, select Edit > preferences and a note (or take a screenshot) of your settings preferences in all tabs
  2. Quit iTunes
  3. Repeat step 2 in the previous procedure to open the C:\Users\of\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes user namefolder.
  4. Delete the following file:
     • iTunesPrefs.xml
  5. Restart iTunes
  6. Restore your settings to preferences iTunes to those that you noted in step 1.
  7. Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote

  If no si aucun succes success so far, try to repeat the two procedures above, using records C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes and C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Apple Computer\iTunes.

  If it wasn't (and most people reported that the problem is solved by one of the two procedures above):

  1. Quit iTunes
  2. In Windows, select Start > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs.  Look for the entry of iTunes, right click and select Rrepar.
  3. When this process is complete, restart iTunes
  4. Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote

  I have a desktop Dell Dimension 8250, BIOS A01, running Windows XP Home Edition (SP2) with 512 MB of RAM and a 120 GB EIDE internal hard drive.  I would replace this hard drive with a larger one.  Can someone tell me what is the largest disk that can be greeted by my computer?

• Support retina update stalls

  I have problems to download what looks like a great update through "Apple Software Update", in the Windows 10. The name of the specific update is "updated Apple Boot Camp, Version 6.0, size 265,99 MB"

  I'm currently under Bootcamp 6.0, so I guess it must be a patch, the update summary said it "will provide 5 k support when running Windows via Bootcamp on iMac, retina 5 k poster and solve a problem that can prevent some Macs to wake after sleep"... I need on these two points. However, the update never full download, it crashes to half way through the download and after an hour or two, explains the update has an invalid signature and will not be installed (probably because she never finished downloading).

  So far, I have tried

  -Run the software update utility with administrator privileges,

  -the only option to download updated software,

  -Re-download software windows using boot camp under OSX and re - install the drivers of boot camp, which gets me back to where I am.

  Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Is there a link to direct download for the patch somewhere?

• Windows 7 Ultimate updates fail on Toshiba Satellite P100-160

  I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate and I have 54 updates installed. When the installation is complete, the laptop restarts then just stops. After the reboot, I click on start recommended to identify problems and when you start any of the 54 iupdates Windows have been installed. I tried this 5 times now, but always without success.

  Have you tried to install some updates instead of the 54 updates at the same time. Try again with a combination of 5 or 10 established by restarting. In addition, for the great updates, try download and install those manually from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads.

  During the installation of updates, make sure all open programs are closed, your Antivirus program is disabled temporarily too.

  A week ago, our computer, Vista, downloaded a great update from Microsoft. I started installation and left for work. When I got home, ten hours later, he was suspended on "Configuring updates 3/3".   DISM.exe / image: C: \ / cleanup-image /revertpendingactions

• New BIOS update failure.

  I bought an alienware 17 R3 8 GB of the USA 4 months ago. I live in Turkey where there is only one technical service of Dell in total. Yesterday, I did the BIOS update. Everything was ok, I turned to the bottom of the laptop and slept. But today, I realized that my computer is dead. Thank you for this great update. I'm a regular computer user. I don't know what to do.

  If the fix above does not work, then I think your only option is to contact dell. You probably need a motherboard replacement.

• HOW LONG BEFORE THE NEXT OTA UPDATE?

  There for a while that we were getting updates and moving forward every two weeks. Now it has been a month or two and no updates. Is this a sign that we will get a great update to correct the problems of function or is it a bad sign. I like the Pre and have been patient, but it's like Palm and Sprint have been silent.   Usually users use just the Forms interface.

  However, there is no reason why you can not put the SMS EIT feature on the menu of your HR professional instead. If you do this, the HR professional users would use the 'Search' box at the top of the page to find people in their security profile (rather than see a graphical hierarchy) - they can then them transact exactly the same way as would a Manager.

  Because I downloaded the windows 10 things slowed way. The c p u use show 25% when nothing works and is 100% whenever I start something.

  Try to remove the SD card if it is installed. Search for updates using windows update. There should be an update Windows 10. install it. This is a great update and can take an hour or more. Do not put the SD back in until you see if you still use of high wudhost.

  Someone on the form on anything but iPod Sansa forums recommended I come here for more help. First of all, some context to information.

  Over the years, I've owned than an old iPod (one colorless) and recently a friend of mine gave me his 4 GB Fuze. I thought that I'm going to keep this player because I like easy navigation, features, additional memory slot and the fact that he was free.

  The problem is that my PC out crapped on me and I only have my MacBook. My boyfriend told me that the player is a DND and it should work on my Mac. All I have to do is put it to MSC mode. I did, but when I connect the player to the Mac, the files are empty. I know for a fact that there are 155 songs in the thing. I would like to get rid of some of the songs well and perhaps keep some of them.

  Anyway, I have a Fuze v1 firmware and would like to get some comments on it. The same user told me that I should stay with v1 and not update anything yet, unless someone proposes I put in the Rockbox firmware. I have no idea on Rockbox, but he does not say it's a great update.

  Another problem I have is that all the songs I have are in iTunes. Is it possible that I can get these songs and just paste them into the "rocket"? Or will I have to do it again from scratch?

  What about playlists? What would be a good program to use to create and add all the arts album and each song information?

  If there is anything else you guys bsemblable woul suggest I'm all for everything. But please keep in mind that I'm working on a Mac.

  It is likely that these 155 songs have been transferred to the "rocket" in MTP mode. This is why you don't see them when it is connected in MSC mode. I would go to the friend who gave it, ask to hang on his Windows machine, go on MTP mode, move all the songs of the computer, unplug, switch mode back to the MSC and then re - transfer on the "rocket".

• Cisco 881 - Access Gateway VPN session

  I configured my Cisco 881 and finally has surpassed "thecan't see my network" issue IPSec VPN.

  I have a usecase where I need to access the gateway of the VPN Session.

  When I connect to the VPN using Cisco VPN Client 4.8 x, I do not return a default gateway on the VPN map. When I try to ping my IP from the LAN (10.20.30.1) bridge that does not work and I cannot access it with other tools.

  I'm sure it's an ACL question and it makes sense to hide the default gateway, but the big question is how to configure my router to see the gateway and access them from the VPN session?

  Please see my attached cleaned configuration.

  Network Info:

  • Internet Internet service provider gateway: 192.168.68.1
  • DNS: 192.168.2.1
  • Address WAN Cisco 881 at: 192.168.68.222
  • Address on Cisco 881 LAN: 10.20.30.1
  • DHCP for LAN on Cisco 881: 10.20.30.10 - 10.20.30.50
  • DHCP for IPSec VPN: 10.20.40.10 - 10.20.40.50
