Support retina update stalls

I have problems to download what looks like a great update through "Apple Software Update", in the Windows 10. The name of the specific update is "updated Apple Boot Camp, Version 6.0, size 265,99 MB"

I'm currently under Bootcamp 6.0, so I guess it must be a patch, the update summary said it "will provide 5 k support when running Windows via Bootcamp on iMac, retina 5 k poster and solve a problem that can prevent some Macs to wake after sleep"... I need on these two points. However, the update never full download, it crashes to half way through the download and after an hour or two, explains the update has an invalid signature and will not be installed (probably because she never finished downloading).

So far, I have tried

-Run the software update utility with administrator privileges,

-the only option to download updated software,

-Re-download software windows using boot camp under OSX and re - install the drivers of boot camp, which gets me back to where I am.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Is there a link to direct download for the patch somewhere?

See you soon

I know it's just a warning and it doesn't seem to affect the performance of my computer that I can say, but I would like to know why it's happening.

Well, I found the task that updates HPSA in Task Scheduler.  I disabled it by using the Properties window.  On the chance someone may be interested, I'll post how it turns out.

I hope that I can now keep the HPSA listed for my computer with no additional alert to update again HPSA that generates several warnings and is not compatible with my desktop computer Pavilion p6 - 2220t and/or Windows 7 sp1 64-bit operating system.

This disabled the HPSA update only not any other.  It seems to be a standalone update for HPSA.

  • HP Support Assistant - update for Ralink August 2013

I posted this under the hardware because it's the Ralink WiFi card, but the problem is an HP support Assistant update then maybe I should have posted here in the software.  Thought I'd try again; no answer on Forum hardware.

    Hello mpw101

If I understand correctly, you have a desktop PC HP Pavilion p6 - 2220t CTO and run the Ralink SP62055.exe? I have no idea why the Support Assistant recommend this update because it is to the computers of Business model and not your computer. I recommend that you follow the instructions below.

Step 1. Download this driver to your computer

Step 2. Go in Device Manager

Step 3. Right-click on the Ralink Wireless and uninstall (check that you delete the driver when prompted)

Step 4. Double-click the file you downloaded and install it as it's the right driver Ralink for your computer

This should solve your problem. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

HP6267c with Windows 7, Norton 360, Acronis True Image

HP Support Assistant was working properly until I have been offered and accepted a Support Assistant update today. Now, I can't go in front of the opening screen. I worked on a "blue screen" kick this PC, and sometimes it can only be started in Safe Mode, although it works normally now, if these problems may be related.

  • Design on the new retina update...

This was no doubt exceeded by many times, but I'm kinda stuck.

I've updated to the latest version of Photoshop that finally gives us support of retina... It looks nice but is about to make our lives more difficult?

I design for web and print and decided to test it.

I created a standard document for 1024 x 768/72, I was given a small canvas on screen, certainly not the size, it should be, my understanding is that if I save this and load it onto retina-no, it's the right size?

So, if I want to create the same document, but also the right size on the retina, that dimensions are? I just double the pixels, increase the resolution? I'll have to save all of the charts twice?

We are moving in a direction that requires adding new steps in our workflow, and I'm not sure what it is yet...

Anyone can shed some light on the steps we have to take? Are there articles that deal with these?

So far with Photoshop, you've been "Actual Pixels" (aka 100% zoom) on your Retina display in mode "pixel double" - which means that every pixel of your photoshop document really occupies a block 2 x 2 pixels screen retina.

If you want to see things in your document how they will look, pixel for pixel, on your Retina display, choose zoom 100%.  If you want to see things, how they will look in double pixel mode, choose zoom to 200%.

Ignore the ppi setting.  It has no significance with the web publication and display on electronic devices.  The number of pixels, that's what counts.

  • HP Pavilion: recommendation of HP Support Assistant update

    Hello

HP Support Assistant recommended (today) I installed "RealtekRT28723BE/RT281882EE Wireless LAN Driver udate. Have you tried a couple of times and each time I end u without connecting to the net - had to use a restore point for come back to where I was so I used the WiFi AC. I like to keep things up-to-date on my laptop, so I was wondering what I should do to get this recommended update loaded and still have WiFi connectivity?

    TXS

Okay, I think that the problem is that, as you update the wifi driver using wifi, the connection falls at a point and corrupts files. so my sollution would be to try to download the driver out of his HP and install it "without having to be connected. Here is the link to download the driver

  • HP and HP Support Assistant update

Is it necessary to have and use the updated HP and HP Support Assistant?  HP Support Assistant does not have everything HP Update done more more? It seems that HP Support Assistant was created to replace HP Update.

    Hello:

    I agree with you.

The support assistant is a program that includes the search for updates and other features such as air upward, etc..

I see no need for both (in fact, I see no need of either).

I mean this... I would like to change the default value of the assistant to support the definition and automatically download and install updates. I read where this thing was running updates the BIOS in the background while people were working on their PC with antivirus running programs, etc., than to have bad things happen.

If you like the support Wizard, my recommendation is to change the setting to warn and let me choose which updates to install - or what is the closest option to the default.

  • HP support assistant - update card Ralink 802.11n Wireless LAN April 23, 2014

    My HP computer:

    Product name: p6 - 2220t

    My OS:

    Windows 7 64-bit sp1

The current version of the driver on my wireless LAN card Ralink is 5.0.9.0.  HPSA now tells me that there is a version 5.0.33.1Ap1 update.

Last AS HPSA said that there is an update, it was bad and created problems. See http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-Systems-Software-Recovery/HP-Support-Asistant-Ralink-...

Does anyone know if HPSA sends the correct update this time?  I would like to learn more about this until I followed the recommendation to download and install it.  Must what problems/bugs or security issues correct?

Thank you for your time and your help.

    Hi mpw101,

I understand that you get an automatic update that indicates that you must install the software driver for your Ralink Wireless LAN card, and I would be happy to help you!

For your computer, the most up-to-date Ralink Wireless Network Controller Driver is labeled sp58084.exe. I spoke with Dunidar on this subject, and he referred me to a previous post that you created on your network card. That being said, if you update is always at the SP62055.exe, please ignore this update as it is a business unit.

    I hope this helps!
