Great white - proc amp - cutting - YUV-RGB

I investigated the issue of the break with YUV to RGB (from DV) conversions and found as Stu Maschwitz stressed DV rebel, there are two ways to record video of the upper YUV dynamic range without clipping when converting to RGB for editing and effects. The function of Prime Minister Proc amp works in YUV and for this, like interpret images color management tab in AE.

HOWEVER. It seems that something can broke the proc amps effects in CS5 as it seems more save the values of super black and super white. There may be now another method recommended to save the superior dynamic range that will capture some cameras DV and HDV in YUV?

Also, it is no longer a "maximum depth" parameter in the project settings, then maybe that's where things broke, as in earlier versions of the Prime Minister that adjustment was necessary to proc amp works correctly.

I took some DV footage that highlights a 110% signal and tried to adapt it in CS5 proc amp and it was cut. The same images was recoverable in AE CS5 with the interpret footage "wide Gamut RGB" color management tab. This sequence is also recoverable with proc amp in CS3 and CS4 first.

Any suggestions?

David

Bit depth of Max is a sequence, is no longer a project setting, so make sure you are looking in the right place.  In this set of values-of-quality is preserved with effects supported as indicated by icons in the effect controls panel. Also note that the GPU acceleration enabled, all rendered on the GPU will always be at the maximum depth. The icons in the Control Panel indicates the effect of software, not the effect of the GPU capabilities, so for example crop the effects will make 32-bit when on the GPU even if it will never make it on the CPU.

I have a lot of images that vary according to the size. All rooms have a simple black and white chart like the one shown below.

Is there a way I can automatically crop these images as there is no superfluous white borders. Is that the harvest should touch the edges of the black areas. If all images have the same size, it would be easy, but this is not the case.

Try the Image > Trim and see if it works for you.

Note that there are all the foreign black/gray pixels in the white area is cut at this point. If this is the case you can first make an adjustment of threshold set pretty low.

  • Adjustment of the white balance

When you select a neutral grey target with the white balance tool, are the RGB values on the values of magnifying glass on average according to the scale of the magnifying glass? Then, the adjustment of the white balance done with this tool is on average to the pixels located under the microscope?

You can test it for yourself.

  • YUV processing

    Hello world

I have a question about YUV processing in Premiere Pro, especially on blend modes.

Made the process of Premiere Pro mix modes on YUV two clips in YUV space color, or does perform YUV-> RGB-> YUV conversion, and all the mixture gets to be in RGB?

In addition, if such a conversion takes place, what matrix is used for YUV-> RGB conversion? REC709 or REC601? If both, then how is the choice determined?

    Thanks for your help.

It depends on the blending mode. Composition normal can be RGB or YUV, but more artistic blending modes are a RGB. YUV conversion will be from Rec709 or Rec601 according to the encoding with which the tag source data for this layer.

  • Lumetri give me some little weird problem on high contrast clips.

I got a project PP e-mail file editor.  When he made and export the video, it was happening on its end.  When I visited and export it gives me this weird effect.  I don't know how to solve this problem.  Ive tried to remove effects and re-colouring, but I get the same question, but it's not getting on its end with the same settings.

This is what it looks like:

    Screen Shot 2016-03-18 at 1.58.40 PM.png

    Screen Shot 2016-03-18 at 1.59.04 PM.png

But then, in this clip, which also has a great ray of light, weather: everything has the same settings

    Screen Shot 2016-03-18 at 1.59.14 PM.png

I have a guess if you checked Lumetri scopes on clips of "bad", you would find that you have some highlights above 99 on the left scale in the RGB Parade scope. And most likely some less than 1 or 2 also. You can also have problems with excessive saturation. Sometimes when PrPro "sees" media it seems to push on the top & bottom down, not all that common, but can happen.

The way it works currently, the 'Standard' tab is not allowed to move whatever it is above 99 or less than 1 so we can't 'break' our images. However, the means... is not going to bring anything he sees as "outside" the limits of the background either. It does not seem to work properly with saturation off limits.

However, OTHER tabs may all work with these data perfectly. As in...

    (1) bring down top-99 highlights strong with the slider next to the color wheel luminance made...

    2) raise up to any below 0 with the slider of luminance next to shadow color wheel...

    (3) make any excessive saturation using hue Sat "curve" which is a forward-looking tool on the wheel. Reduction of set, click the line, and drag. For special colours, use the colour keys to choose a 'normal' shade (R, G, B, y, m, c) or click on each side of your shade of problem to create an outline, and then click & drag in-between these points bring this article a new hue.

Another method for a control made highlights/shadows, of course, would be the curves tab... Take the ends of the line either bring more away-out highlights blacks down or deeper upwards.

Everything by doing one of the shows preceding the Vectorscope's Parade & YUV RGB... When you have something outside 1-99 on the parade brought back inside and also hide anything outside the bounding on the vectorscope box inside, your picture looks good again?

  • How can I run without losing a part of the image?

I used a scanner to scan in a bunch old photos flat.  The photos are not perfectly straight - I thought I could turn and recrop using LR.

Here's the problem: I have a bunch of crooked pictures on a white background.  If I try to rotate the photo, it will eventually crop part of the photo.  (Does make sense - you've all seen that when you tried to rotate a photo).

But I need to find a way to tell LR to add in extra white background as needed instead of cutting into my actual photo.

I can do this in PS by creating a great white background, turning the original photo and then to cropping.  It's annoying when you have 100 + images.  But is there a way to do that in LR?

On the Correction of the lens, manual tab of the panel is a slider on the scale.  Set it to a value less than 100.

  • The video graphics card upgrade

I have a HPE-112y.  My son wants to go graphical treatment to NVIDIA GTX 680 graphics card.   I know I have to improve the supply, but the current system will be able to handle it.

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion Elite HPE-112y. The 680 GTX graphics card should fit and work in your system, but you want to measure the space along the PCIe x 16 slot to make sure. You must also ensure that the PCIe x 1 adjacent to the beach 16 x slot is empty. The cards GTX 680 I watched, require a power minimum system nominal 550 watts or greater and an amp 38 note on the 12 volt rail. Corsair CX600 is highly recommended and known to adapt to most HP consumer computer cases.

  • Very grainy Youcam problem after "setting fix advanced dark screen" in dv7

    Hello.

I have the YouCam came with my computer, which is a HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC with Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1.  Since I got it, I installed all the updates.

I was JUST able to solve the problem of black screen that many people seem to have by changing my setting with the following fix:

Go to "improve the current video image"

    Click on "Advanced".

The value of 'Backlight comp' to '2' (which is max) in the "Video Proc Amp" tab

Go to the tab "Camera control" and set "Exposure" to "-2" (which is max)

Click Ok.  Do not hit 'apply '. It will cancel all these settings)<---Most frustrating="" thing="">

So now, I have a picture.

The problem that I have now, it is the image I horribly gal AND has a grainy grid pattern on everything.  Other videos of the correction, that didn't happen.

    Sample photo:

    Video example (YouTube):

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=aNqMxaiIam0&feature=youtu.be

BEFORE that, I was able to capture video/images that were fairly normal; No big, but normal HD.

    I want the HD-ness, I should be out a HD product I bought... :/

HALP!  Thank you in advanced for your magnificence in advance.

PS: I tried to 'default' everything, too. I had to do the fix to make it work well. I don't know what kind of parameters I maybe changed or not when I was trying to understand the original problem, or if there is a setting I have unintentionally has no 'by default' because I forgot...

  • 400 pro G1 MT: pinout header MS-7860 map mother PB/LED (P5)

Anyone know where I can get the pinout for the 10 pins header called "PB/del" labeled P5 (connector) on the MS-7860 Ver 1.2. (400 pro G1 MT)? I saw manuals which avoid the connector. Note that the PIN "missing or key" is exactly in the middle (PIN #6).

I've seen many diagrams with the key or missing pins at one end. This isn't my Board of Directors. This is where the cable with the power switch (not to be confused with power) meets the motherboard.

I replace a failed motherboard (three months out of warranty new with no physical signs of damage) with an ASRock H97M Pro4. I have had each other perfectly cable connector. The only one I'll have to "convert" is P5 (on the very outside edge of the angle of the SATA port). Thank you for your help.

Just pinned it out (the hard way). For anyone else who might have this motherboard. Here are the correct pinout:

    (1) HDD LED + (3) HDD-LED (5) PWR switch (7) PWR switch (9) n/c

    (2) power LED + (4) Power LED - (6) vacuum (8) jump (10) jump

    \________/

n/c    (has a hole with No wire)

vacuum  (a coveredhole)  The key, so you can't plug it wrongly.

Caveat!  Pins 8 and 10 are a rider or 'short death' (perhaps a 'case' of bypassed self-protection?)

I recommend that cut you the rider that it will not likely be necessary on your generic replacement motherboard!

    Colors (may vary)

Drive HARD + LED (1) is (Green) power LED + (2) = (Red) disc HARD - LED (3) is (white)

Power LED-(4) = switch (5,7) (Black) power = (the two white) jumper to cut (8,10) = (Black)

The two "Power LED" (white) are interchangeable but LED HDD - (white) is not so be careful here

and the jumper to cut (deleted) is Black and should not be confused with the Power LED-

  • Desktop screen problem

Why the my screen is all white, with the exception of a 2 "wide strip of top down on the left side, only on the screen? Thing I do is the way that it supposed to be. It's just like that on the desktop. And when the pc is turned on, it appears the desktop image full screen just before its completely initialized. And when stopping down, it shows the image full screen of the office, just before it stops.

I tried a lot of things in case of problem, but it is not an option, which suggests the problem. And I've tried hundreds of different pictures of funds from many different sources, including my own photos. It started some time ago and I was try and ask but nothing helped. The great white is never going away on the desktop.

    Help, please! Anyone?

    Hi Marilynne Allenstein,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

2 are you able to access all the items on the desktop except the white screen?

    3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

First unplug and plug back in the computer monitor, check if that helps.

    Method 1

I suggest that you change desktop theme and check if it helps.

Make Windows XP as you wish

    Method 2

If the previous step fails, then check if the problem persists in the safe mode and after return with details.

You will not see the SlotRadio icon unless you have one of the cards inserted. Insofar as buy the Canada, unfortunately many electronic products are harder to find (and more expensive when you do) up here in the great white North. Sorry for that

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 - Print margins are off, slow and noisy printing

I have problems printing my printer HP Officejet Pro 8600. When I am able to print the process is extremely slow and the printer made a lot of noise before and during printing. In addition, the margins are off compared to those on the document itself. The left margin is so great that it is cut a part of the document on the right side. I tried to unplug and restart the device and it is set back to the factory, but the questions remain. I printed a test page and it looks good, but speed, noise and margins continue to be a problem.
