GS108Tv2... inaccessible

Brought a new GS108Tv2. Wired it upward, the packages has been happening very well, jumped on my SRX210H of Juniper (my DHCP server) and I saw the IP assigned by DHCP. Entered the thin device. Change the device name, password, and it has given a static IP address.

He was running v5.0.5.10 firmware, checked the Netgear site and seen a significantly newer firmware available, so I flashed 2-v5.4.2.11 image. Changed the following active boot image to 2. Reboot, run from the web interface and it has asked, is well back. I searched in the interface, brought no change, went to bed.

Today, want to dig into the interface, the device does not. Lights, packages, but the unit does not not on the IP I gave him yesterday. Trombone used to restart. After the reboot doesn't always do not. Packages going very well. Back to the trombone used failing factory. Returns to the top, transmits the packets, but it is not accessible. No DHCP assignment for her on my SRX210H of Juniper and obviously do not answer on the IP I assigned.

So it works, but I have no way to get there for the management. Please advise?

I have solved my problem with this one. I must say, navigating on this forum, there doesn't seem to be a lot of answers, maybe it's completely user based with no participation of Netgear? Please, don't think that I would have bought the switch if I had seen this before.

However, the correction. I performed all the Macs in my house, when I installed Smart Control Center on my virtual, he scanned the network and found zero parallel devices. I dug a little deeper and discovered that the CSC card address used was a strange 10.0.x.x. Then checked the IP config of the virt and he too had the 10.0.x.x address. Checked the parallel settings for the virtual and network that he was using "Shared Network". I changed it to link directly to my crush Ethernet and wallah, he got a 192.168.x.x on my LAN address.

NOW... SCC concluded the switch to network discovery. Interestingly, it was ignoring my DHCP and using the IP address by default factory of 192.168.0.239. 192.168.0.x isn't my network, but as if by magic, CSC has been able to access, I changed the IP of what I wanted on my LAN, and wallah, it was at work.

I hope this helps someone else, this switch is a strange mixture of shit and awesome. Don't know if I'll keep it or not. I can't even determine how to completely disable the QOS / COS. I would ask here, but no one answered. * shrug *: rolleyes:

You must locate the profiles.ini file and delete this file or use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.

    See:

This problem may be caused by a problem with the profiles.ini file or with the permissions (owner) of the concerned files.

You can use one of them to retrieve an existing profile or create a new default profile for Firefox:

    • Remove the profiles.ini file to make Firefox create a new profile (default)
    • Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
If you have an existing profile, then click on "Choose a folder" in the Profile Manager and navigate to the location of a profile lost to recover this profile
      https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/managing+profiles

You should find the file profiles.ini in this hidden place:

    • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
      * C:\Users\ < user > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox /.
    • Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/

If the file profiles.ini compensation does not work then also check the location of the cache files.

    • Windows: * C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
    • Mac: ~/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/
    • Linux:~/.cache/Mozilla/Firefox/

You can also try to rename/delete the MozillaFirefox folder in the two above mentioned places (main, cache).

  • Error message: unable to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible

I know that others have had this problem but none of the validated answers turned out to be viable. When I try to start Firefox, the browser does not open and I see the following message appears: "unable to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible. "I am running Windows 8.1.

It's what happened leading up to this problem. I was passing through normally when I received a pop up message that says a threat has been detected, and Mozilla had a security patch that I have to download. This is the expedition of phishing malware believer, I closed the browser and restart the computer without having to download anything. When I restarted the computer, everything was normal and I googled for information on what had just happened, to see if I really needed a security patch. A forum suggested that I already have a virus/malware that caused the popup, and that I should deal with the possibility that updating Firefox. Then I refreshed Firefox, which seemed harmless enough. The update took the time, so I finally closed the window to refresh. Maybe I should let the window update but it was taken way too long - after that it's my problem to start with the error message.

Since then, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I also deleted the profile folder in the hope that it would force the creation of a new folder. Nothing has worked. Someone has suggestions for Firefox run again?

    Thank you!

Hi jbspear, please press the windows key + r and open: %APPDATA%\protector.exe

There you should find a folder named "Mozilla". try to rename it to something like "Mozilla.bak" (or delete it if you don't like your old firefox bookmarks, passwords and customizations) and then try to restart firefox...

  • Frozen/inaccessible menu options

I used Version 28 (dead last) for years because I had problems with the newer versions are buggy on my old 2005 Dell Win_XP 32 bit desktop PC. I bought a new laptop HP15 a few months back (Win8.1 x 64) and were aired V.28 on it because she had more buttons toolbar available (download progress bar, the button Stop/Reload, old Style bookmarks Drop Down Menu). Today, I decided to upgrade to the latest version (38.0.1) and so far it has not seemed like an upgrade for me.

Missing taskbar buttons mentioned above are a gripe I have. Don't know why they have been removed from more recent versions, but that's for another time. My main problem with v.38, is that since I installed it, the Options menu is locked or inaccessible. When I open the Options, the menu that is displayed will doesn't let me click on anything, whether more there a strange button unmarked in the middle of the screen which does nothing when I click on it (see attached photo). I read some of your support items, but none seemed to solve the problem. I even changed the name of the existing Firefox folder and reinstalled a clean version that perhaps, since the first installation is just an upgrade rather than a new installation, something the previous v.28 may be in conflict with the new version, but still I can't access the Menu Options. He seems unmarked how key wants to click on me to perform a task or something before it won't let me access the Options, but as I said, clicking on it doesn't do anything. The button support when I click on it, but it stays on the screen and nothing happens then.

Any help would be appreciated. I might have to go back to the v.28 if the Options menu does not start working.

    It's the same thing.

Whenever I try o open Firefox, the msg - box says: "your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible. »

    Help, please...!

A likely cause is a problem with the file profiles.ini and the profile marked as the default value = 1 in this file is no longer present on the hard drive.

You can use one of them to make the Creation/use of a new default profile for Firefox:

    • Remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile
    • Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
    • Use "Choose a folder" when you create a new profile to select the location of a lost profile and recover this profile

    # It is not necessary to move the e00qmtzd.default.old for now.

You can leave it in place and restore the C:\Restore file e00qmtzd.default.

  • When I try to open firefox, it says "cannot load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible. » ?

The reason why I deleted my firefox profile on my MAC and uninstalled firefox is because it was not appearing in the application menu or the dock and I have found whenever I wanted to use it. I couldn't put it on the dock or anything like that.
When I downloaded again and tried to start it, there was the error message, "unable to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible. "And now I can't use it at all.

You must remove the file profiles.ini so because Firefox registers all the profiles you see in the Profile Manager in this file and delete the file on disk, Firefox will display this error message.

Otherwise, you will need to use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.

  • Profile Firefox cannot be loaded, it can be missing or inaccessible WINDOWS 8

I have a Windows 8 OS on a PC. I've been using Firefox as my browser for several months. So, when I try to load Firefox, I get an error message, «could not load your profile Firefox.» It may be missing or inaccessible. "I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox version 21.0 twice and still get the same error message. How to file using Windows 8 profile.ini, and what I do when I'm always here?

It may be best to do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program folder in case that some items in the Firefox program folder and those that can be used to initialize a new profile.

Note that Windows hides certain default file extensions.

Among them include .html, .ini and .js, .txt, so you can see only a name without the file extension.

You can see the actual file type if you open the properties via the context menu

You can find the full version of the latest version of Firefox 22.0 in all languages and for all systems operating here:

    Also create a new profile.

You can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

Don't load your Firefox profile. May be missing or inaccessible.

Hello mal3chka, if you remove the profiles.ini file, then a new default profile will be created the next time you start the application and a new profiles.ini file will be generated that references the new profile.

    Thank you

  • After putting the profile folder in the trash and delete, I reinstall Firefox and get the 'missing or inaccessible profile' and cannot use firefox.

I started having the "it's embarrassing, impossible to find the website of your last" whenever I started Firefox. This happens even my preferences always says go to the home page. I deleted the folder of Firefox and re-installed application part. It did not work. Then, I deleted the folder 'profile' for firefox and then emptied the trash, so I can't get it back.
Now when I try to reinstall Firefox, I can't access the new installation of Firefox because I always 'no profile folder exists or is inaccessible.

If you return to the location of your previous profile folder (I hope that you back up your bookmarks at least?) and navigate to a level to the Firefox folder, you can find a text file called profiles.ini which always points to the folder that is now gone. To help Firefox to forget the old profile, you can try to rename or delete this file and restart Firefox. Does it work?

Also, I read in another thread that the error you received is caused by a bug where you exit Firefox, when there is no more open pages. The solution is to quit smoking at least a page open.

  • OfficeJet 7500 a: inaccessible Scanner

My HP printer/scanner/copier Officejet 7500 a can not be detected by my Windows 7 desktop PC - but ONLY the scanner.

Message that displayed when I try to scan:

    [Inaccessible scanner

[Scanner communication cannot be established. If make sure that your product is powered, check the connection and make sure that your network is working properly. If these conditions are correct, restart the product and try to scan the image.

If you are running a software firewall, it can block scan communication. Please visit www.hp.com/go/wirelessprinting for help to configure your firewall.]

I do NOT use wireless scanning. I have NOT installed the printer/scanner by IP address. The printer/scanner is connected directly to my PC via a USB cable.

Copy works fine; printing most of the time but sometimes the PC sends a print job that prints ever (and no error message). I have to unplug the power cord and plug it in again, which resets the printer and then the job will print if I return it. (I leave the printer on all the time so I don't have to turn on my PC, if all I need is the copier function).

I do not use the scanner very often, but I have had this printer for 4 years, and the scanner has always worked in the past.

When I got the Windows message "Inaccessible Scanner", I tried to unplug the power cord and in reconnecting it back, but the scanner was still "inaccessible". I also tried unplugging the USB cable and plug again, but still not to scan. I also tried to plug the USB cable into a different USB port on my PC, but not scan. I tried to reinstall the scanner, but Windows does not display the scanner as a device.

Is there anything else I can try to solve the problem of 'inaccessible Scanner?

Thanks a lot for your help!
