Guaranteed brand new says "Expired" - laptop can't be updated

I can't solve this problem.  I bought this laptop 28/02/2013 and just recently noticed that using HP Support Assistant, is to show that my warranty expired on 20/03/2013, is not even a month after purchase.  So do not trust the HPSA, I went the online security Checker, who said the same thing.  So I sent in the form of disputes in line with proof of purchase and an e-mail back within 24 hours that my warranty are updated.  But it is not updated.  I tried twice and both times, they say that my warranty is up to date and both times when I check, my warranty has expired.  I've been in contact with a technical support person who said I do what I do, but it does not work.  What now?

  • HP Envy 15-k233ca Notebook: Wifi constantly falls on the brand new HP Envy laptop.

    I always thought that if highly HP and as such, has decided to buy a laptop HP - HP Envy 15-K233ca laptop.

    I had a few problems early and one in particular, makes for an unpleasant experience.

    The wifi connection continues falling.  It drops when the system is put into mode 'sleep', when I surf on the net and even after a reboot.

    I went through the question (and a few others) with HP tonight and after 2 hours assistance service has encountered the same problem.  I'm now having to restart the computer and solve problems to try to maintain a wireless connection.  This is my first experience with an HP laptop and I'm disappointed.  It's unfortunate, but I may have to return it.  I'll walk to Apple for a replacement.   If someone from HP can solve this problem for once and for all, it would be useful. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to return the unit.

    Note: I noticed that others are experiencing the same issue.  I asked that the HP help desk install drivers to fix the problem.  If this does not work after our session tonight, then I fear, that it may be a hardware problem.

    Thank you for taking the time to answer.  It seems that the box was already unchecked.  Good idea look even if, as others may have this checked and may, if all goes well in this solution.  I asked a tech support in India for download drivers that may correct the problem.  It seems to have worked.

  • HP envy 13-d003na: brand new gel randomly laptop

    I got my new laptop for only 10 days so far and it froze on me at least once every day since I got it. When it freezes, absolutely nothing works, I have to perform a hard shutdown by pressing the power button.

    All drivers are confirmed to date. I made it by using the Wizard support for HP but also to manually check my driver versions against those on the hp support driver page. I did a full reset of windows but that does not solve the problem. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Finally had a bit of sorting. Having at any time open Task Manager, I noticed that data through the WiFi went to zero for about 3 seconds before the freeze happens. I then decided to turn off the WiFi and connect via my smartphone. Do not freeze has occurred so that in this State; for about a week.

    When reconnecting to my router, my laptop has frozen in time. HP support said he was aware of some routers causing printers to freeze so I should try to connect to another. Fortunately, I got powerline adapters and a nano lying to the subject router. I have connected who experienced no none and freeze for 6 days. On the connection to the initial router, my laptop froze once more.

    Running a google search others found exactly the problem that was supposed to be resolved by disabling IPV6 on the WiFi adapter on the laptop. I turn it off and have not so far known of gel for 5 days.

    Fingers crossed, that should be the end of it. I will update my post all gel occurred again.

    I have a new computer with disk 3 TB initially space.  I have now available 2.60 TB.  I have this simple little card game that has an update of 207 MB of available space required.  Whenever I try to load it, it says "program file can not be updated because of insufficient disk space".   The original game loaded just fine but not the update.  I wrote to the company that has given me a standard introductory text on turn off my antivirus which is nothing to do with my problem.  Someone else has encountered this and if yes, what is your work-around?  I am trying to load it on the C drive with my game so am loading at the right side of the road.

    I solved my problem.  I went back to my computer and I went back to my reliable want 700-074 also having windows installed 10.  My little program works very well and I was able to update the program.  This program was one of the many problems with this computer.

    iMovie and iLife and iworks Apps are free with the purchase of a new device.

    Since Apple is no longer selling the iPhone 5 s, she cannot be considered more for free apps.

    However, just to be safe, disconnect you from the iTunes and App Stores-> Apple ID in the settings on the new iPhone 5 s, then reset the iPhone in now the home and power buttons together for 10 to 15 seconds.     Since it is a machine relatively new, instead of hurt for hours to fix yourself, why not just let HP fix it - for free!

    You must contact the HP Customer Support directly so they put you in contact with HP Tech Support to see what they can do on the diagnosis and repair of your machine remotely.

    I did recently, and HP technology was able to remotely access my PC on the Internet and to make the necessary repairs.

    I have a dilemma on my upgrade from windows 7 Home premium.
    Well, I bought a laptop brand new in January 2010. His pre installed OS is Windows Vista Home Premium.
    I got the coupon for the upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium, and I bought the upgrade. Suddenly my laptop stopped working at the end of July (2011). It is under warranty and the service took my laptop. After a long time they told me it could not be repaired and they offered me a new laptop, the same model. But this model has Windows Vista Home Premium and I want to have Windows 7 again... I bought this laptop because there is an option to update. It is not my fault to not be repaired. So now my question is: what can I do now?

    Can I use the same disc for the upgrade, because the model is the same. And what to do now when this new serial number will not be the same thing?

    Please help me what to do... I was not blamed for the crash from laptop to the title of the warranty period. I just wanted to have Toshiba again. And now I'm worried what to do...

    Of course, you can use this disk to upgrade. you have the same machine that one use this old drive and install the upgrade on the same way as on the old machine.

  • Your brand new laptop comes with a "certified HDD repair?

    The hard drive of my laptop HP G72-B63NR just crashed. I bought new in January 2011, but has not bought any expansion of the warranty, so I'm totally ready to get a new hard drive and restore the system myself. However, to my surprise, when I remove the hard drive, I discovered that it is a "certified repair HDD" Seagate!

    I googled and found a post of someone saying that their HP computers at work are like that too. Does anyone else have the same experience?

    I bought the laptop brand new, so I don't know that the hard disk provided with the laptop because I have not changed my hard drive. As I said, I'm ready to get a new drive myself, but it really leaves a sour taste.

    To be honest, this sounds ridiculous but if you get a message, I suppose it could be possible even if I find it incredible.  Do you have it in a (local or online) retail store or Toshiba?  By any chance did you upgrade from the DVD player when buying (where they may have accidentally neglected to update the drivers of the drive that was originally installed)?

    As it is new, Toshiba should help you with this.  Here's the contact page: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/navShell.jsp?cf=su_contact&pf=true.  Give them everything they need to prove that buy you it and it should be under warranty and then give them the message Word for Word, that you have found.  They should be able to help you.  They can, for some reason I don't know, you don't need to help or guide you through a new driver installation.  I ask for a clear explanation of why this is necessary on a new computer and, if you are not satisfied with the response, ask them to consider that all the faulty computer and replace it.  Even if they won't, he needs the get them less motivated to solve your problem.

    These error messages can occur if you (or software) also disabled Aero. Aero must be on (and supported by the video card) to play Chess Titans. "192GO should be enough for everyone." (of the miniseries "Next generation jokes")
