  Hi - I am trying to establish a calendar that runs weekly execution plan Saturday am. This weekly etl must always be a full load. I have a similar implementation plan that I want to run every morning as an incremental etl. I have the weekly plan set to run as "Full load" always Since it is set to always run as a "Full load", discount dates are not defined on the source table. The second daily plan then initially runs as a full etl because the update dates are null. Is there a way I can accomplish intended to run as a full weekly schedule and then the day-to-day execution plan to run also gradual without any manual intervention (for example, manually reset the source dates every week)?

  You must run only 1 EP for Incr and full charges, followed by another custom EP which sets the column of table refresh DAC as NULL (W_ETL_REFRESH_DT).
  ex: UPDATE W_ETL_REFRESH_DT SET LAST_REFRESH_DT = NOTHING

  You must schedule the PE customized to run single Saturday just before your actual departure EP time so that you can have discount dates DAC are null and follow the load would be full load.

  You must create a custom etl mapping so that you can set the type... This could be a command session or workflow.

• DataGuard failover data global or normal service?

  I'll put up two rac clusters of 2 nodes using linix and Oracle 12.1.0.2 rh6.

  Clus-1 is the primary db dnt5a and clus-2 it is standby dnt5astdby. between them is a DataGuard broker.
  It is an active-passive cluster.

  What I want is an automatic failover from the primary database to standby db - transperant to the client application.

  This will be possible when it is an active cluster / liabilities?

  The Global Data Service will do or is the Fast-Start-switch function in the best DataGuard soluition?

  Global data service is not running transition real role. Once the transition from role was made manually or by using DGBROKER, the SERVICE is redirected to the specific instance. In the previous version, had to use a combination of GRID infrastructure, DATAGUARD BROKER service to perform this operation. Now using GDS should the Service must be defined and GDS to install.

  I did some quick research for DG books.  There is not a lot to choose from and none of the 12 c yet.  I haven't started on my details page of Oracle Certification Prep exam for 066, so my research on this issue is minimal at best.  That said, the only books I've seen which were reasonable in all were Oracle Data Guard 11 g manual press of Oracle and Oracle Data Guard 11 GR 2 management beginner's Guide by Packt Publishing.  I have not read the books or studied the contents of a.  A warning for me on the Packt flag is that all the of the positive comments on the book seem drawn by the hair.  I've seen this before on other books from this Publisher.  They seem to have a handful of people who write glowing reviews of 5 stars from Packt books within a very short time from the date of publication. This seems misleading just for me. The press review of the Oracle by contract has several times the number of comments on a wide range of dates, and they are almost always positive.

  That said, I would like to reiterate - I have not checked the content of a.  Before I add books that do not specifically reference a review for "Third-party resources" pages on my site, I compare the Table of contents for the purposes of test to see if there is a reasonable correspondence on the matter.

  I'll try to at least a start on a details page for 066 in the coming weeks.  I'm in deep writing at the moment, but I should be able to take a break to search for documentation and articles and whitepapers for Data Guard.

  I am able to get the name of the data store + its first respective measure in this way:

  But it simply returns a canonical name, not the full name as DGC fiber... . (< canonical name >) or Local disk from VMware (< canonical name >) which is seen in the graphical interface for a data store selected under scopes.

  It is possible to retrieve the full name of the first measure for all stores of data in a liner uses just cmdlet Get - data store ? So if there are 10 stores data only 10 datastore + extensions display names pairs will be returned similar to the highest of the output of the command.

  It is possible to get a similar output as in list of devices/paths get HBA with Powercli for peripheral column, but without having to use the cmdlets Get-VMHost, Get-VMHostHba and Get-ScsiLun because I just need 1 to 1 output to the data store and her first litter?

  I read on FT but I think that FT do not create a failover with data warehouses (transparent failover) hosts only, correct?

  I need a solution for reading/writing in the two data stores at the same time.

  you are correct FT so that DRS and HA only care about the workload of VMS, not storage.

  For the requirement type (transparent failover) you will need a storage based replication/mirroring as HP P4000 (formerly Lefthand).

  None of the other technologies Data Guard what so it's a little difficult to compare. A bit like asking what are the benefits of SHA1 and AES256 versus Oracle databases.

  Only Data Guard, the technologies that you listed, will check everything that it performs replication to ensure that there is no corruption physics or logic. So if you don't care if your waiting will actually stand up to any technology will do. But if you want your watch to be there for you when you need... Data Guard is the only choice available.

  Should you worry if your wait is physically and logically perfect is sort of similar request you want the fire extinguisher to the end of the Hall to work. You will never have it but you're going to be really unhappy if you need and it is not there. Remember the faster replication, for example SAN - SAN, less it will look on the logic of what it performs the replication. SAN - SAN will replicate just as merrily '00000000000000000000000' as it is a valid block.

  You can 'Transport' the Tablespace containing the datafile after completing the Point in time of recovery on the auxiliary.

  All data in the tablespace must be made up - for example, you can't FKs referencing tables in other storage spaces.

• iOS 10 cellular data broke

  My daughter has an iPhone 5 c she's had for about two years and it has worked very well. She has updated to iOS 10 and mobile data has not worked since. I had a Verizon technical support check the account, and two different Verizon stores have changed the SIM card with no luck. They say it's a matter of Apple. The strange thing is, if I swap the SIM card from my iPhone in the 5 c 6, it works perfectly.  Did not work with it's original SIM or to one of the two new Verizon SIMs.

  I reset the network settings again and again. Cellular data do little to 3G or not on LTE. I even went as far as do a DFU restore on it for new firmware and software and set it up as a new iPhone, just in case it was a software problem. I'll take it to the Genius Bar at my local Apple store, but it'll be a couple of days until I have time to do... so any ideas on how to solve this problem?  I tried all the solutions I can think or even randomly as I find on the net.  Nothing has worked so far. The only error message I get is "could not activate cellular network' when the phone tries to connect and fails.  Texts and phone calls work well and the wifi has either no problem. Simply not cellular data at all.

  I'm trying to generate a list of dates, in view of the current date. For example, for today, March 10, I want the dates of March to be included. This is for a calendar app and because of that I have to fill in the calendar with pre and post days. For example, for March, the following dates should be included:

  If you look at a calendar, it usually begins a Sunday... depending on where you are. I need all the dates returned to account for the additional days before and after the month in question. That make sense?

  This assumes that your NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE = "ENGLISH." If it's another language, translate 'SUNDAY' and 'SATURDAY' in that language.

• don't read full of binary data from the db

  I have a strange problem. I read the binary data (png images) of database through cold fusion. everything worked, but now it has stopped working. the exact same script works on another server and the images appear correctly. but on the other server, it works more (from one hour to the next..). data base is the same. other data in the database are correctly read. but binary data may not be read or not completely. images remain blank, because only a header is created.
  I managed to convert the binary data, which are read for string and display it on both servers. Result, on one server, its site more of one and a half on the non working server, it's just more or less an information line.
  any ideas what could be the problem? kind of time-out due to the length of the data?
  
  

  do not know how and why, but after 5 days of research, and now, writing this post, I looked in cold fusion administrator and I saw, that the ' enable binary large object (BLOB) retrieval ' has been disabled... it wasn't me...

  I work in a retail environment in retail and we build reports for stores. There are several reports and that they receive the same reports. We use the BEEP company with breaking function and it works fine.
  
  The problem is that there are too many reports and we would like to consolidate all of the reports from the same store in the same PDF. We use the function of multiple data source and managed to concatenate all the comprehensive reports.
  
  Using this model, and the new report, we cannot make breaking functionality works correctly: the burst report contain all components of report required.
  
  For example, I have 2 questions A and B producing each of the reports for 3 stores: 2, 4, and 5. Without rupture, the result is such that it is:
  Query A - store 2
  Query A - store 4
  Query A - store 5
  Query B - store 2

  With the outbreak in a file using the store number, I get the following:

  I wish I had the following result:

  the tag in the xml file must be broken down by common to these three rows.

  You can't burst using the concatenated data source.

  But you can do by using datatemplate and bind the request and get data for each file in a single query.

  Select distinct store_name in all stores

  Select * from query1 where to store the name =: store_name = 1st request

  Select * from query2 where to store the name =: store_name = 2nd request

  set the datastructure as you wish,

  the XML will contain something like that
