Gurgling noise in Audio/video playback

Hi, I hope someone can help any detailed instructions would be great.

When playing audio/video, an intermittent gurgling noise (freezes too) occurs if playing stored or streaming media (audio and video) for example iTunes, YouTube, windows media player, etc..

All solutions please share! Have already updated drivers. Contacted customer service, basically, they did the same drivers uninstalled then reinstalled does not.

Note After searching questions, which seems to be a problem for other people too, not only of Sony. If it helps, even if the laptop is model SVT13134CXS VAIO T series 13 Touch Ultrabook.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

P.S. Here's an example of how it sounds, in my opinion, it starts at about 01:30
http://m.YouTube.com/watch?v=CF9Pvdsz0UM

To further isolate the issue, you can run the Checkdisk utility under windows.  You can also launch the VAIO Care and use the tools in this application.  There are some hardware diagnostics, as well as the VAIO Care convenience store and one-click-care.  These tools can scan your PC and try to solve the problems.  Give it a try and see if that will make a difference.

I recently got this computer work again once I've been using another computer for awhile, so I was messing around with some parameters that could be the cause of this.

  • Stuttering/buzzing for Audio/video playback

    Hello

Recently I had a few problems reading any kind of media.  At regular intervals the audio will gel/jump for a second and make a loud grinding noise, then resume.  This happens with music, video streaming, games, pretty much everything.  If I watch a video or a game, the screen freezes for a second, and then resume.

    I use an Inspiron 1545 with Windows 7 64-bit, SP1.

I tried everything I could think of, update all my drivers, codecs, anit-virus ongoing relocation of execution and cleaning on my system.  I have found that sometimes the offset is in my DPC latency spikes, but sometimes they aren't, and I don't know what is causing the spikes.  I tried most of the solutions here: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3517/p/19142484/19265470.aspx#19265470 , but nothing seems to have helped, and I'm getting a little desperate.

    Any ideas?

Try to uninstall Dell Support Center and see if you get an improvement.

  • Dv2500 (DV2615NR) Conexant HD Audio breaks down a few minutes after an audio/video playback

    Hi all

I got DV2615NR about 15 months ago and have a strange audio problems.

(Yes, exactly three months after the warranty expired and I had ' nevermind, buddy ' sign of the HP support...)

    The symptom is:

    1. whenever I'm playing MP3 or films downloaded with some media players, it works for 1 ~ 5 mins

    2. after that, the music or audio begins to break and possibly repeat last dry 0.5 forever, unless I turn off the laptop forcefully.

    I tried the following things:

    1 reinstall Vista 32bits fresh

2 reinstall Vista 64 bit fresh

3 update BIOS for later (F.27)

    4. install the latest HP drivers(MCP*)

    5. install the nVidia nForce driver

6 install the driver nVidia GeForce 7150 M video

    7. install nVidia OEM drivers

    and the result is:

    past yet.

The current version of Conexant HD Audio is 4.36.7.60 (09/04/2008) on Vista64

If you had a similar problem and have a solution, please help...

    Thanks in advance.

I found the solution for this.

It was something to do with the estate of LAN wireless, called "Minimum energy" characteristic 'active' by default.

    Hello

Are you facing this problem with ITunes?

Try to set up the device in the default playback tab and check whether the problem is resolved.

    1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking sound.
    2. click on the playback tab, click speakers and set its default value.

Check whether the problem is resolved.

Try to play music using Windows media player and check if it works.

If you are facing this problem with ITunes, you may have to uninstall and reinstall the program ITunes that could help you to fix the program.

If this does not work, I suggest you to contact Apple for assistance. Unfortunately, we can not help with third party software/hardware changes.

Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Please post back and let us know if it helped to solve your problem.

  • power audio, video playback

I can't hear audio on videos, I play... volume checked and everything seems OK.

    Help!

Is it a problem suddenly which has just started, or has it always been a problem?

Also, I noticed that you posted in the section Windows 8.  Windows 8 is nearly three years old.  In recent years, Microsoft has fixed hundreds of problems and the 8.1 update to correct the problems.

To solve your problems, I recommend you to install the update as soon as possible.

  • Problems with audio/video playback and the Source window

I have some videos that I try to import into my sequence. Whenever I have open the video in my source window (or drag it to the timeline), the sound goes crazy. He starts to jump and identified himself. When I open the movie file in Quicktime format on my computer, it opens and plays very well. In addition, I don't know if it is not connected, but sometimes, when I open a video in the window of my Source, there is no audio. I can drag to the sequence and double-click on it to put the video of the sequence in the Source window and it plays very well.

The video that I have problems with is a .mov, filmed from an iPad (not sure what model of iPad). It is filmed in Portrait mode, do not know if it matters. Please let me know what other information would be necessary to solve this problem.

  • After Windows updates Feb 10-11, I "bmmp" noise in my audio which effects my audio/video performance.

    * Original title: System Restore

    Windows 7 Home Premium

    Dell XPS L502X

    Intel Core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz

    8 GB RAM

After Windows updates Feb 10-11, I "bmmp" noise in my audio which effects my audio/video performance. The video freezes for a split second. I tried system restore several times, but my computer could not be restored to several dates I've tried. If I do not solve the problem today, tomorrow morning I'll try an advanced recovery method. I have a Windows 7-64 bits of the operating system at the same time, graphics cards Intel and Nividea. I had this same problem several times since I got the computer (Dell). Dell has replaced some hardware. Previously, he was my Western Digital external hard drive software that caused the problem. After that I deleted the software from the computer, the problem has been resolved.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get the system restore to work? Or another suggestion that might help solve the problem?

    Thank you

    Joe

    Hello

    This can help you:

    1. If you are using Norton, you should disable Norton inviolable Protection before using the system restore.

    http://Service1.Symantec.com/support/sharedtech.nsf/pfdocs/2005113009323013

AVG will cause problems with SR too.

    «Temporarily disable AVG»

    2. try to use Safe Mode system restore.

"Start your computer in safe mode.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=Windows-7

3 Malware will stop at the system restore.

Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware:

And some information for you about Windows updates:

Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the 'wrong' for your installation.

You can do a system restore to get back until it has been installed (which is NOT the best way to remove an update) or follow this method:

'Remove an update - Windows 7'

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/remove-update#1TC=Windows-7

When you have found the issue of update of the list of updates which is presented > then right click on the update problem > select Hide update > and it will not be available to you once again

"How to hide or restore the updates of Windows hidden in Windows 7 and Windows 8"

Here's how to chanage update settings, if you think it is necessary to:

"Understanding Windows Update and Extras in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/Windows-Vista-updates-and-extras/

    Or the other of these two update settings will give you the chance to see what you want to install through Windows updates;

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

But remember you normally only have problems with hardware 3rd party drivers. Other updates are to improve the Performance and security of your system

  • Sparks (noise) on video playback

Just noticed this - probably began sometime in the last few weeks - video playback is quite 'noisy '.

The same files play fine on other machines.

Has anyone else noticed this lately?

  • Split HP 13 x 2: Audio/video issues with Windows 10

I'll start by saying that before the Windows 10 update, everything works perfectly.  After the update, I tried to watch a video on youtube and found that the video would not play properly, it would freeze and jump back more and more, and the sound was essentially just a humming noise.

Since the problem started I tried to reset the PC, reinstall all the drivers I think (I had to do anyway after resetting the PC because there is no sound afterwards) and generally tinker with settings as far as I can find.  I discovered that this problem only occurs with microsoft browsers, doesn't happen in chrome or firefox, and the same audio problem is present with Candy Crush.  I should also say that he has no problem playing music, Pandora works great.

Audio and video work perfectly well if I run a bluetooth speaker, but through the computer speakers or headphones, and it starts buzzing and start/stop.  Yesterday, I found that when I took off the passage of the tablet to the computer (it's a 2 in 1) audio began to work very well.  Thinking it was a problem with additional hard drive in the keyboard, I unchecked the option to activate the disc for the drive cache, allowing to solve the problem temporarily until I rebooted the computer, and now he is back not working not not and is no longer works in the mode of just Tablet even after the passage of the disk caching on for additional drive which makes very little sense to me.

At this point, I'm completely confused.  All updates have been downloaded and applied of HP and Microsoft, I can find.  I hope someone has an answer! Thank you.

Oddly enough, the following solution does not work a few weeks ago, but now, at least for me. Solved my problems of video playback as well.

  • I have a thumping sound during video playback.

I have a computer Dell Inspiron 1545, 64-bit laptop, equipped with Windows 7 family Premium SP1. During video playback, streaming online or a video on my computer, I get a noise very loud from time to time. It is almost an audio feedback effect. Sometimes the video hangs at the noise. I've updated the audio drivers; I deleted the audio driver in the Device Manager and rebooted I tried another card sound and different speakers. Nothing works; I always get the noise and the occational of freezing. I read a lot of articles online from other Windows 7 users, indicating the same problems, so I have to believe that this is a problem with Windows 7 itself. If you go on Bing and just type in Windows 7, this site and others coming, talking about sound and freezing problems. What is the problem with Windows 7 and what is Microsoft going to do to correct the problem? I often have to connect my laptop to my TV for playback of movies, but the noise is very discouraging. Help!

  • Flash crashing and video playback/Streaming problems

Recently did a reinstall of Windows 7 and have experienced problems with Flash and video playback in general. Questions may or may not be related. I have not detected problems with the opera and so I think that these are problems of Firefox. 3 major video sites that I use are (HTML 5 player) YouTube, twitch.tvand Crunchyroll.

    (1) flash very quickly and systematically accidents

       * Specifically noted when viewing streams on twitch.tv
       * Often crashes within a minute, almost certainly within a few minutes
       * Crash logs provided below

    (2) reading crashes

       * Occurs on all 3 sites
       * On twitch, stream freezes (but Flash does not crash). On YouTube, loading circle comes up and video freezes
       * If this occurs on twitch, Flash less likely to officially crash

    (3) volume cuts

       * Occurs on all 3 sites
       * If this occurs on twitch, Flash may still crash after
       * I've had volume issues with my system in general, with volume occasionally cutting in gaming programs, such as League of Legends and Hearthstone. That being said, I do not experience this issue with Opera and this only occurs on video playback in Firefox.

    Attempts at Solutions:

       * Disabled hardware acceleration in Flash
       * Reinstalled/Updated Flash and (I think) made sure there is only one version of Flash
       * Reinstalled/Updated Firefox
       * Cleared cookies/cache/other stored web data
       * Updated all drivers

I wouldn't stop using Firefox as my preferred browser and works fine on all my other devices, but if the problem persists, I'll have to. Any help or insight is appreciated!

Unfortunately, I have tried all fixes of cor - el without success.

However, I started to use audio drivers Realtek instead of Microsoft and everything seems to work more smooth. Will update later when I did several tests.
