  I get error frequently below.  In General, when you navigate on old posts on the forum SQL and PL/SQL, after reading a post, I click on the left arrow in my Firefox browser, which I expect to take me to the page of the posts that I had.  Instead, I get a page with no messages.  I then click on a forum page numbers in the upper right corner.  Sometimes brings back me to the page that displays the list of the posts that I had.  However, more often I get the below error.  So try to navigate from one position to another is desperately slow.  You can fix this?  Everybody brings a work around to be able to get from one station to another, or at least back to old messages without the error page?  This is a problem that happened before and after the upgrade.

  Have you tried right-click (ctrl-click on Mac) and choose 'Open link in a new tab' instead? With all the dynamic html today browser back and before options are often dead still. If you open links in a new tab or window, you can simply close the window instead of using the back button. It may take awhile to get used to it, but there are some benefits, such as the loading of the pages in the background, and you do not lose the focus of the page where you. You can disable "when I open a link in a new tab, swtich it immediately." If I understand your problem, maybe it works better.

  It is a 'feature' really annoying a logon trigger event is 'CONNECTION' not 'LOGON' that is to say there is a space after the opening of SESSION

  Change your query to

  Select * from dba_triggers, where triggering_event like 'LOGON '.

• Several components are listening to the same custom event?

  I tried to make the transition from Flash to Flex and I've been struggling with this one for the last two days. I used to do a lot of SEO _root.moviecontainer.mylable.text, but I'm trying to get the idea of demonstrations, dispatchevents, etc. down and get SEO for Flex to manage. The simple explanation of what I'm trying to do is to have a component triggers an event and either dynamic broadcast to all components that subscribes to this event (the number of components listen to will change during execution and so I don't want to directly refer to these objects). I would like to be able to generate other objects during execution and to associate them with this event dynamically. I tried to add an addListener (customEvent) to listen to the dispatchevent(), but I had no luck with this method until now. Raises the event, but I can't understand how to associate other components with it. I guess that having only three parts to it: the component that triggers the event, the event itself (custom) and the component that is listening for the event. And none of the components know anything of the any of the other components that exist. The trigger could be raising an event 3, 10, or 100, other components are listening, but he doesn't know how many elements are tuned, nor she cares & maybe even wait for one component which is capable of raising the event, he is listening the listening component, or there could be a total of 10 components capable of triggering this event. If you did it at the end of the present, thank you. This has been a headache for me, and I'd appreciate any help offered. Thank you.

  iTextArea is a brother of iButton and isn't in its parent chain, so it will not be a propagated event.

  Perhaps you could put a Manager in the Application that redistributes events and listen for them in iTextArea.

  Hi, previously I was working in a SQL statement that returns potentially 1 million rows. The 'order by' clause contributes significantly the cost when I checked its plan to explain.
  

  select ...
  from ...
  order by field1, field2, field3;

  Then I found another way to make the order of who has much lower costs to explain the plan.

  select ...
  , dense_rank() over (order by field1, field2, field3) overall_order 
  from ...
  order by overall_order;

  Both queries took a long time to run if I didn't not wait until this one is over. The question I have is the above two methods will return the same result in the same order? I know dense_rank() returns the same number of ranking if two values are the same, but do not know what 'order by' will do in the same situation.
  
  I found that when the result set is small (say, a few hundred lines), the analytic function actually result in a higher cost to explain plan. Please let know us if it is OK to use the second method to achieve the effect of "order by" for the large result set.
  
  If you have better alternatives, please suggest as well. Thank you.

  Two of these methods do the same thing.

  Both are for an indefinite period as to what happens when two or more rows have the same values for the three variables.
  Say the lines A, B and C all have exactly the same values for field1, field2, and field3.
  Say, you are running the version with ' ORDER BY Field1, Field2, formees3 ' and the output, in order, is A, B, C.
  If you run one version, then there is no guarantee that you will again get the same order (A, B, C). You can get the same order, or you might not.

  I'd be surprised if "ORDER BY overall_order" was faster than ' ORDER BY Field1, firld2, field3.

  I installed 3.1.2 on XE apex. I tried to let it listen on 80, but it doesn't work. Is it possible to listen on 80? If Yes, what additional step I have to do?

  It seems that you are working under Linux (os root user). It is not easy to use a port below 1024 for Oracle because it takes the oracle process runs as root. It is not advisable.

  The bottom line:
  -You can easily change the port on Linux, but not below 1024!
  -You can configure a plain Apache as proxy in the 10th, it is advisable anyway.

  Trouble Shooting - update

  Interestingly enough, Firefox works for 1 minute after I use Safari with proxy Auth. However, if I get Safari for 1 or 2 minutes, Firefox will be stop working and displays similar error message.
