Thanks for the reply - I didn't hear back for a while and wasn't already waiting to!

Bluetooth dongle did not come with a driver (it was one of these "plug and parts"), but after several trials and errors, I managed to make it work with this driver download: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&lc=en&softwareitem=cp-102236-1

  • Why in the world a laptop would not come with a dvd player? This is the most stupid thing ever

Now, I buy an acer because I heard a lot of people it's a great brand, but I'm quickly doubt that. Why? It is not a cd/dvd drive. Why in the world a laptop never would come without one? • No socket antenna/cable on dv7t-3000 with built-in HDTV tuner

My question to you all is 'out there', your laptop has come with an antenna/cable intake when you ordered the tuner?  The antenna connector and the cable with my laptop came with circular plugs that look like they would a 'white' circular on the right side of my machine.

Unfortunately, when I talk with various people at the help desk, I have been informed a) tuner with an antenna, b) inability of the tuner to pick up a signal (without cable connection) is a performance issue that is covered by a disclaimer clause in the integrated HDTV hybrid Tuner HP help me decide to text, and c) must be ordered separately.

Would appreciate your comments before doing a * outa' me calling to order a plug...

Yes, I have the HDX 18 with tuner and it came with an antenna that plugs into the right hole next to the power connector antenna, and it came with an adapter that you can plug a coaxial cable in also.  I've never heard a computer tv tuner with a built-in antenna.

  • Children of fact windows xp home edition come with a program that you can make a birthday invitation

New user of windows xp and the need for children, birthday invitations party. Is there a program that comes with windows xp or if not it would be a good to download?

Windows XP is an "operating system" - the program who is in charge of your computer.  There are a few basic applications built in such as WordPad and Paint, but you'd better find a site online to make invitation cards.

However, if you purchased your computer with Windows XP preinstalled, there is the possibility that the computer manufacturer added additional software that might be of use... but we do not know what is on your computer not identified.

Step 2: You can also check if the problem persists in the clean boot state.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

Try the steps in step 1 in the article to put your computer in clean boot mode.

  • My computer did not come with a Windows XP restore disk

My computer did not come with a restore Windows XP disc and I don't know how to get one, because my computer keeps restarting itself and that goes, "your computer must was closed incorrectly, or because of a power failure" and he gives me 3 options of safe mode and then gives me the opportunity to go to windows normally... but all the options I chose... It keeps just restarting on me... My computer did not come with a restore disc and Idk anyone who owns one... then where would I go to get one?

Some computers have a built-in hard disk recovery partition.  Search for information on this subject on the BIOS screen that appears the first thing when the computer starts.  By pressing Ctrl + F11, accesses a recovery on some Dells partition.

Otherwise, contact the computer manufacturer and ask if they can provide a restore disc.

  • Don't boot to desktop-Boot computer ups always come with "no input signal" for monitor

Thanks for the research on this issue.  So first of all, he could start after a few attempts in the end goes to the blue screen error at approx. 5 min. I started this path several times that in "safe mode with network" to try the many suggestions of repair for two days. " At this point, it's freezing just at "windows is loading files", but probably will go to blue screen error. Boot ups always come with "no input signal" for the monitor and signal switching in the Help menu for 5 min periods I've mentioned and then fails or "monitor going to sleep" occurs.

The error messages rec'vd: corrupted image, corrupted file and header file check sum does not match the sum of computer control. The recommendations of the screen blue: disable the BIOS memory, any material current or drivers and check disk space.

Some tent to fix: memory diagnostics and it showed 'no problem', checked monitor on another computer and it works, in a session of 5 min a download to 'fix' Microsoft via a USB problem like "search of windows crashes" but was 'unable to set', a few other attempts would show the "windows installer has stopped working" preventing any action.

At the present time, am unable to start even with advanced at F8 options.  It's HP Pavilion 10/2007, with the help of HP. Its on a wireless network with a netbook, Blu - ray, occasionally a cell phone that works on windows live but none presents as a device.

    Hello

    ·        You did changes to the computer before the show?

    ·        What is the exact error message that you receive?

Method 1: Remove the external devices except the keyboard and mouse and try to restart the computer in safe mode and check if you can start inside.

If you are able to boot into safe mode then try a restore of the system it and check if it helps solve the problem:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

Method 2: I suggest you do a system recovery options system restore and see if it helps:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-Vista

Method 3: If the system restore does not help then do a startup repair and check if this solves the problem.

  • Can I use the Bluetooth Dongle that came with my Kit with a different wireless keyboard HP wireless?

Hello world! I am brand new here and although I did some research on this subject I couldn't find it - forgive me (and point me in the right direction!) If this has already been covered.

I just bought a HP Pavilion, a touchscreen all-in-one. It came with a wireless (dongle, keyboard and mouse) keyboard kit. I don't like the keyboard at all, lol and would lke to use another keyboard wireless I have (a GE Board), BUT I do not have a bluetooth usb dongle - I have that the dongle supplied with the kit of HP wireless.

I tried to get this dongle to talk to my new keyboard, but it does not work. I can't tell if it's user error or if she will NEVER speak to him, lol.

Can I use it? Or do I have to buy one separately bluetooth dongle which is compatible with the computer and GE keyboard?

Thank you for ANY idea - I'm going crazy here!

    Ali

    Hello

Based on the following specifications, your machines don't have a Bluetooth:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03791255

GE keyboard is a BT device, you can use something like one of the followind dongle:

    http://www.latestbuy.com.au/Bluetooth-USB-dongle.html

The dongle that comes with your computer may look the same, BUT it uses a different technology.

    Kind regards.

  • Problems when printing with USB or wireless - offline message

    Hello world

I use a HP ENVY 4500 with a laptop Acer Aspire laptop and a desktop computer HP Pavilion 500, both with an Intel i7 and Windows 8.1. Initially, I configured the printer to work with both PCs wireless. The wireless network is provided by the modem of my provider (Telenet), so it is not very strong I increased it with Devolo powerline adapters. Print is fine, only when I want to print more pages then 3 print job is stopped in the middle of page 4. I get a message that the printer could not print the document, and the page comes out half print. I connected my printer with a USB cable and configured to work with USB, but also wireless. But that Don t always works, today, I tried to print a document from Mozilla Firefox and it would not start. The printer can be used on both sides without choosing the connection?  Also I get the message that the printer is offline and cannot print the document, even if it's actually printing.

When I open the doctor print & scanning everything seems to be ok wth the printer, no defects are detected. Wrong me?

Hello @DenOuwe and welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see that you run into connectivity errors.  I would like to help.

I would recommend using this thread on missing/partial prints & printer offline on Windows 8/8.1. by @JERENDS

  • My built-in wireless Asus AR9825 won't allow new.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium on an Asus laptop with built-in WiFi.  I disabled it briefly so I could make sure traffic crossed the wired connection to install my new NAS.  I have reactivated the device, but it does not work properly now.  It shows a small red cross next to the signal strength icon.  Device Manager it shows as enabled, I disabled and re-enabled using the laptop function key.  Then, the driver was updated.  Then the cell phone has restarted.  Windows has still asserts that it is not activated.  When I use the function key, the wireless light comes on briefly then goes back to sea.  Any advice?  All the articles I looked at solutions I either have tried, or I tried them and they do not work...
