• Compatible cases for handset of flame

  With regard to the archived thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1014911 I found that the LG Optimus SU640 LTE handset has almost the same size as the reference to flame handset. I ordered a case for this particular LG phone and it fits the phone of flame without problems.

  Get a case was the only issue preventing me to use flame as my phone handset every day, so I hope that this info is useful for others.

  No screen turned visible, but I think you have your mail sorted as threaded. That's all mail on a conversation thread is placed together, and the thread open in a tree like the folders pane.

  View (Alt + V) menu > sort by > unthreaded will turn it off.

  Siemens Gigaset S79H connected via USB, but the Quicksynch software not recognizing the telephone handset.  I want to transfer my contacts from Apple for Gigaset.

  This is not an Apple product. Contact the manufacturer for support. It is quite possible that their software is not compatible with OS X 10.11.

• BlackBerry Smartphones quick switch from handset to headset.

  All of a sudden, my Bold 9700 began quickly pass from the handset to the headset that makes it impossible to make or receive a call because you can't hear.  You can hear it doing the same thing, even when you type a phone number... is there a solution? I tried battery pulls etc...

  It is a problem with the headphone jack.  I would try insert and remove the helmet several times (many multiple!) to see if it will fix itself.  If not, then you will need to have the device replaced.

• Messages pushed to the specific handset has not received.

  Hey guys, pulling my hair out trying to understand this issue.

  I installed SDK push BlackBerry on our server and the client application on a number of handsets for testing. All handsets, except one, are successfully push messages.

  All handsets are part successfully and all logs, including the handset receives does not push messages indicate that push listeners have started successfully.

  Someone else has experienced this problem and solved?

  I attempt to restart, sim swaps, wipes, WiFi, 3G and updates to the book of service with nothing will do.

  Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need additional data to help diagnose this problem and I'll get it to you as soon as possible.

  After the 5.0.0.86 2, I was able to register with RIM. I don't know if that was the problem but it's working now, so I'm happy.

  On a side note, I had a few problems with 5.0.0.54 5 and 5.0.0.680 for a reason that I wasn't able to put more than one header in my HttpConnection.setRequestProperty. Doing so made the headers go funky. Well, sorted now

• Transfer Memo Pad blackBerry 9900 handset to Q10 Q10 files

  Is it possible to transfer files from Notepad to a 9900 to a Q10 handset handset or do a backup/restore using BB Desktop Software, or by other means? I have a lot of information stored in Memo Pad files on my 9900 I want to transfer to the Q10, after upgrade.

  I did this:

  • Check that Evernote is enabled on your Q10. Create an account if not and activate your settings > accounts > Evernote.
  • Install Evernote on your PC.
  • If you synchronize your memos to your 9900 to your Office Outlook, then copy all your memos from Outlook and paste them into your Evernote account on the browser on your PC.
  • Today, all your memos will sync as Evernote in your app Remember > Evernote folder (or more, install the application Evernote to your AppWorld Q10.

  If you do not use Outlook on your computer, it gets a little more complicated, let me know.

  1. does anyone know how I can stop Blackberry link update automatically the information stored on my handset Q10 on my laptop? Basically, whenever my Q10 is connected via Blackberry link - a Blackberry Q10 folder automatically appears and creates each appropriate folder for photos/music/videos in my documents however I want to do, there are some things that I want to keep my handset on my laptop, and not anything like multimedia such as videos and photos I want to copy manually my camera on my laptop.

  I found the way to fix this...

  If you disable automatic synchronization, you can manually synchronize the files between your computer and your device. You must manually synchronize any changes to files that manually synchronize you.

  1. On your computer, open BlackBerry link.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, click on your device.
  3. Click on the settings icon.
  4. In the view settings, click synchronization.
  5. Do one of the following:
     • To turn off automatic synchronization for your music, turn off the Musiccheckbox.
     • To disable the automatic synchronization of your photos, clear the Picturescheckbox.
     • To turn off automatic synchronization for your video, disable the Videoscheckbox.
     • To disable the automatic synchronization of your documents, clear the check box of Documents.

• Handset/headset Monitoring Query (Alternative to 7942G)

  Hello Cisco support community!

  I have another query concerning devices having the ability of monitoring handset/headset, currently our homes real estate 7942 g across contact center however, they recently became out of use and we were informed to improve our handsets to 7841 s due to being as for as in terms of capacity.

  However, this is not the case because there is no option for handset/headset in the device profile which is an important condition for the center of contact especially when training new officers.

  I got a glance at several data sheets and have had a look through the device of CUCM profiles and I can't find a newer model with this feature, I'm basically looking for an official reply see if there is another device that has this ability that is not the end of life.

  Additional info: CUCM 10.5 + UCCE/CVP environment

  Hi Christophe,

  With phones 7900 series as the 7942, this behavior was actually a bug until the release of the 8-5-x firmware. I really believe that they could not come up with a fix for this unexpected problem that some people close & desired and other hated and despised so they just made a real feature.

  This setting is not available on one of the more recent IP phones that you discovered

  In most cases people wanted this ability to 'training' as you require then the next best option are options wireless & wired (below below are examples) so that both the ' trainer and the trainee "can use their headset.

  I'm working on an application J2ME which starts a default browser and opens a Web page on the Blackberry handset.

  My Tools includes jde4.3 BB + Eclipse Europa + BB4.2.2 combined - 8820, 8310 (for the execution of the application).

  I use the following code and in the face of a problem during the race piece crushed this combined 4.2.2 BB app, say BB 8310 Curve:

  before you open the desired Web page.

  I want to be able to reach the webpage directly avoiding these guests of pop ups not necessary to display on my mobile screen. Help, please.

• Cisco SPA232D ATA and Cisco SPA302D Wireless roaming handset

  I read the documentation of SPA 232D and I see that it supports up to 5 stations 302D SPA.

  In this project, I have 4 floors and we need a total of 15 phones:

  3 - basement

  5 - ground

  4 - first floor

  3 - second floor

  When the person is using the basement 302D phone have no reception when they walk on the upper floor.

  Can we do roaming between 232D? Is it possible to interconnect their? The range in the documentation may not be enough.

  What would be the recommended Cisco solution for this, we want to use DECT.

  Range: Indoor: 165 ft (50 m). Outdoor: 980 ft (300 m)

  Thanks for thinking of the spa232d for this project,

  Unfortunately with the current firmware it does not support combined roaming between base stations.  There is not an easy way to transfer between units handsets (you must unsubscribe from a base station and register again with the 2nd spa232d).

  The distance of the datasheet is optimal in a perfect environment, and I expect to be a little less real world.

  I woud suggest get a spa232d and a spa302 (maybe a dealer demo unit) and test range on the customer site.  Basically, do a site survey to see where the best place in the unit.

  If you need more 5 units on a floor, or signal will not reach both ends of the beach, 2 - spa232d devices may be necessary.  Some devices would be recorded to one, some to the other.

• Z10 blackBerry a way to disable the bluetooth handset and use activate streaming audio only?

  I use bluetooth in my car to make or receive phone calls and it only allows you to stream Pandora.  On my previous BBs, I was able to disable the handset function and just use streaming, but I'm not find similar options on the Z10.  Does anyone know how to do this? Right now I just turn off my stereo when I receive a call, but this isn't a good solution.  Thanks for any comments.

  The Z10 BlackBerry doesn't have the option to edit what services are allowed with a Bluetooth connection.

  Depending on your vehicle, you will need to access your Bluetooth set up or the settings in the dashboard of your car to control what features are Bluetooth-enabled.

  If you don't know how to access these settings, contact your dealer or see your owner's manual.

• Strike a SPA302D of SPA232D base handset

  Is it possible to unregister a handset of SPA302D of the SPA232D database management interface?

  SPA302D handset was broken and I can't cancel the check in the menu of the handset.

  I'm not in my test with SPA232D workshop now, so my advice is based on some Administrator's guide.

  He mentions that you can write off other handsets that already registered. FOR others, registered handset deregister all others, including broken (text search 'write off others' in Administrator's Guide).

  And last spring, the default factory reset should deregister all handsets.

  It depends on the configuration of the user's email account.  To view this setting open the mail application, choose Options from the menu, select Email reconciliation and check the option delete on for this e-mail account.

• Cisco 6961 handset hook

  I searched google for it, and now I turn on the support forums of Cisco looking for a spare part for the handset hook.  The hook that holds the device in place on our 6961 phones are broken or lost.  I can't seem to find a part of Cisco to replace the hook when he has lost or broken and it seems unfortunate to have to buy another phone just to replace the small piece of plastic.  Does anyone know if a replacement handset hook exists?  It's the little tab that you can return to the receiver to hold the handset against the phone.  Thanks in advance for any help!

  Reach out to your Cisco AM; they can apply the product on the options Manager. I've heard rumors that also does not exist (for example the stickers for phones 7900) being available to manufacture in large quantities.
