• How can I delete the message from the voicemail from the screen of a SPA302D

  I have two combined SPA302D recorded on a SPA232D basis.

  My voip provider (voipfone.co.uk) provides a voicemail service.

  If it does not respond to a call, it is recovered by the voicemail system.  A voicemail icon on the SPA302D with the number of messages in voice mail box.

  However, I can't find anything to clear the voice mail of the screen icon.  I listened to voicemails and them deleted voipfone system, but can see no way to clear the message of the voicemail on the screen of the handset SPA302D.  I Goggled the question and searched this forum but have not found anything.

  If anyone has experienced this problem or have any suggestions to delete the message?

  I have no problem to implement market and of the voice of the screen as long as proper NOTIFICATION SIP are sent on the PBX side.

  Thus, to intercept SIP messages between your provider and the SPA232D base station. Check thatIP NOTIFIER content S 'pending Messages: no' arrived from your provider. Ask your provider for help that if no such message has arrived - the question is not about SPA232D.

  If not - paste the content of this message and reply of the adapter here. Enable syslog and debug messages and also well catch them. They are a valuable source of information and will help you/us to analyze the issue.

  I assume you are using the latest firmware (1.3.3 (15) on SPA232D, 2.62 on SPA302D)

• Cisco SPA232D ATA and Cisco SPA302D Wireless roaming handset

  I read the documentation of SPA 232D and I see that it supports up to 5 stations 302D SPA.

  In this project, I have 4 floors and we need a total of 15 phones:

  3 - basement

  5 - ground

  4 - first floor

  3 - second floor

  When the person is using the basement 302D phone have no reception when they walk on the upper floor.

  Can we do roaming between 232D? Is it possible to interconnect their? The range in the documentation may not be enough.

  What would be the recommended Cisco solution for this, we want to use DECT.

  Range: Indoor: 165 ft (50 m). Outdoor: 980 ft (300 m)

  Thanks for thinking of the spa232d for this project,

  Unfortunately with the current firmware it does not support combined roaming between base stations.  There is not an easy way to transfer between units handsets (you must unsubscribe from a base station and register again with the 2nd spa232d).

  The distance of the datasheet is optimal in a perfect environment, and I expect to be a little less real world.

  I woud suggest get a spa232d and a spa302 (maybe a dealer demo unit) and test range on the customer site.  Basically, do a site survey to see where the best place in the unit.

  If you need more 5 units on a floor, or signal will not reach both ends of the beach, 2 - spa232d devices may be necessary.  Some devices would be recorded to one, some to the other.

• Could SPA302D enroll in SPA232D after firmware updated to version 1.3.3

  Hello

  I'm having a problem with SPA302D (cordless handset), it will not register to the SPA232D of base unit. After upgrading the firmware to version 1.3.3 SPA232D has also made software update on SPA302D (now version 2.62).

  The problem started after the transition of the SPA232D of stock firmware 1.3.0 to 1.3.3 last firmware. The signal on SPA302D bar flashes, indicating that it is not saved to spA232D. Several factory reset on the SPA232D and the S {A302D but has not solved the problem.}

  Does anyone has this problem?

  How this can be solved?

  Hoping someone could help me solve this issue.

  Use 1.3.2m for the first upgrade, then the latest firmware (whatever version it is) for the second.

  Or just upgrade twice using the latest firmware (phone will freeze on the end of the first upgrade, manual power cycle is required).

  Updated SPA302D then forced, possibly reset both sides to factory default and it should work then...

• Problem with SPA232D + SPA302D call tones?

  I recently installed a new SPA232D ATA and SPA302D DECT handset on our network of offices, which already uses a loyal Office SPA525G2 phone. Both the SPA525 and the SPA232 register with a SIP provider hosted on separate lines. I have not all other phones (analgoue or other) connected to the SPA232. After the configuration of the unit and entering a bunch of locales, most of the things with the new phone work as expected.

  However, when I use the SPA302 (via the SPA232) handset to call the SPA525, I hear a strange tone that sounds that once followed the silence until the call is answered in charge or go to the virtual machine. The destination phone continues to ring and can be chosen as normal for the call. In addition, the tone is different of tones is entered in the regional settings of each device. Calling other phones and other results of numbers (outside my SIP account) in tones which are correct for our region. I did a very quick syslog capture with wireshark and I see a 100-> 183-> 200 SIP sequence on these calls, while other calls seem to show a 100-> 180-> sequence 200. I saw no 182 s. Not sure if this is important.

  Any idea what would cause this?

  In addition, a couple of other problems minors reagrding the SPA232D + SPA302D combo:

  -The SPA232 will not automatically save to the SIP service after a reset or power and does not attempt to reconnect after the initial failure. He recorded immediately, however, if the voice component is restarted after a config change in the GUI http. I value 0 network delay, but noticed no difference.

  -The SPA232 (or SPA302) seems to ignore most of the locale. Past to your frrequencies and cadences in config make no difference to the tones heard through the SPA302. Must these be resynced with the handset somehow?

  Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

  the ringback tones entered into the regional settings of either device. Calling other phones and other numbers (outside my SIP account) result in ringback tones that are correct for our region. Not sure if that is important. 

  It IS important. Code 180 is command "generate tone locally". The callers phone will create the tone according to its (regional) configuration. Code 183 is ' I'll you sent the audio tone '-local phone generate no dial tone, just play what it comes via the audio channel called Exchange device or target her.

  You will need to check the configuration of exchange that connect call from SPA232D to SPA525 (for example call with broken tone).

  Anyone know where to find this special version?

  Not as easy as it sounds. The camera hangs on the end of the first upgrade, manual off-market is therefore necessary. For example, no way to upgrade to large number of devices remotely.

  Upgraded remotely, the 1.3.2m (where m represents intermediate) firmware version IS necessary. I have, but I'm not allowed to distribute.

• AirPort Extreme Base Station 4th Gen

  Hi all

  I have an AirPort Extreme Base Station renovated 4th Gen router connected to a modem Arris SB6141 cable.  I had this AEBS for almost 5 years with no problems.  Last night, we had severe weather in the region and almost immediately after a lightning strike extremely close, our internet came out.  Service was also restored and our modem works properly.  However the AEBS is orange with intermittent flashing green.  When I opened the AirPort Utility to diagnose and fix the problem, I was prompted to connect the Ethernet cable to the AEBS.  All cables/cords are connected and secure.  I cycled power on all equipment, tried different cables and even performed a hard reset on the AEBS, and again, it won't recognize the cable Ethernet is plugged.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I guess you have tried another Ethernet cable between the modem and AirPort Extreme... and if this is the case, the storm produced a wave that damaged the port WAN on AirPort Extreme... even if the modem cannot have been hit.

  All you can do is try a Factory default Reset on the AirPort Extreme several times to see if that could help. Good luck!

• SPA232D problems integrating the POTS via FXO

  I just bought a SPA232D and I have problems with the initial configuration with the POTS via the FXO line.  I'm back to the original factory configuration for partition the problem.  If I connect a phone to the fixed telephone line work and turn the SP232D off, all phone funtion works, inbound and outbound more voicemail from the central server by the PSTN.

  If I power up the SPA232D with the line FXO connected to the POTS RJ11 and FXS line phone, I can make outgoing calls through the PSTN.  However the incoming calls to the PSTN not sound and the service of voicemail never folds on the Central POTS but disconnects.  Sometimes I see the hook out in the status page.

  In the State of the engine, if I register a DECT handset and set it to the PSTN and do to the PSTN by default, I make a call through the PSTN, it sounds and I get a successful connection.  I can also make outgoing calls through the PSTN.  However, if I do not answer the call voicemail service never folds on the Central POTS but disconnects.

  Clearly, I have good location of the SPA232D with the POTS (US, Verizon (formerly Frontier), considered an old switch of POTS, not a great line, Upstate New York).  But since it works when it is off, the basics seem to be there.

  Does anyone have advice.  I can't find any close correspondence on the resources of the web.

  The notice just found elsewhere - it may or may not help:

  1. You can set this to 'no' (No. When disabled, PSTN calls will not be auto-répondu by the SPA.

  My SPA203D is currently on firmware 1.2.0. When I go to web site gui firmwar eupdate 'Browse' button is grayed out. By clicking on F5 to refresh site displayed the clickable button for a short time, but you have to be quick to click on it. I select the file, but then the 'Upgrade' button is not clickable either. Is this a bug?

  Hello Stefan,

  It could be that you are connected to the WAN port and have not allowed upgrades via the WAN port. To connect to the LAN port and try again.

  It might be a browser problem, but I doubt it. Try again with IE. I remember a problem with the SPA1xx on their early firmware where IE was able to locate a firmware file.

  Good afternoon, community. I bought a set of SPA302DKIT-G7 (Dect phone and adapter to connect on it for SIP). Configured SIP accounts. Outgoing calls work, but incoming calls are not. Web access adapters I see "line 1 status, call 1 report: ringing"when I have a call, but the call is not transferred to the handset. " The tube connections are inbound and outbound number. Any idea why this might be?

  I have no SPA232D here now, but line 1 is the analog line, not the handset DECT, isn't it?

  So it looks like a bad configuration - incoming call is routed to the POTS line. If you want to be sent elsewhere (for example, an individual combined DECT), you need to configure it accordingly.

  Unfortunately, you did not describe the scenario of default so it is so difficult to give more specific advice.

• Version 5.0.0 of my handset broken blackBerry Smartphones

  Director of office informed me that there is an update available, so I opted to go ahead with it.

  5.0.0.41 version 1 installed successfully and all data has been restored.

  Phone does everything except receive incoming text - voice, e-mail work correctly.

  Vodafone offered the demotion to version 4, so I got 4.4.6.1.310 by following the links to the website of Vodafone.

  Still no incoming text, more time to talk with Vodafone not conclude that there is a problem with the handset.

  Their third level support say it's a return to base "to zapping.

  I would be grateful for any suggestions of something to try out before I give up and we get another handset.

  We have a phone that seems to work. It was not simple, however.

  Both the original and the new phone working all both OK.

  The problem is transferred to the new after using Desktop Manager to do a full restore.  I did a selective restore of the calendar, book messages and email address and everything seems to work as it should.  Except e-mail send / receive, but I don't know if it's a problem of Vodafone.

  The only oddity I can think is that the SMS database contains more than 2,500 messages.

  Interestingly, ongoing execution 5.0.0.41 1 of the new phone, the same 5.0.0 install which was at the heart of the original problem.

  Desktop Manager is 5.0.1.18

  Is there an easy way to inject it on RIM?  I happily offer the backup data file if they want.

  * Edited to add - the problem of e-mail resulted by the restoration of the old email database, I have everything works as it should.

  This isn't an inverse logarithm, it is one logarithm using any other basis as the existing buttons for base 10 or base 2 logarithms.  The "y" is any basis you want to use for the logarithm.
