Almost immediately, a man called back. The identification of the appellant did State not available and any number of qriginating. The appellant said I might have trouble because of the intruder. They would help me get rid of the program that was on my computer. I refused assistance and asked not to be called again. The person called one more time and my husband spoke to them. Wharton is? Phone call warned that a "hacker" attempts to access my computer.
I just got a phone call indicating that a 'hacker' was trying to acess my Windows operating system. I was instructed to go to the computer and follow the instructions. I don't have that. What is a legal appeal or a scam?
No, it is not legal but an attempt to get to either give someone access to your computer or make you buy a worthless or even dangerous software.
You ask yourself who would call you even if such an attempt has been made. A checking the logs of most firewall routers frequently show "probes" by external connections to a network. Why would they choose you ' help '?

I COULDN'T HAVE MY IMPORTANT EMAILS. THIS PERSON HAS CHANGED SOME OF MY PASSWORDS ON SOME PROGRAMS. I HAD TO GET NEW PASSWORDS FOR MY BANK, FACEBOOK AND SOME OTHER ACCOUNTS.
Original title: I discovered that someone from another computer hacking or using the information available to me. THEIR IP ADDRESS IS 200.1.27.75. HOW CAN I REPORT THEM?
Hi Johnny,
. What operating system is installed on your computer?
What version of the operating system Windows am I running? :
Many computers users be prey to pirates and the crimes they commit on companies and unsuspecting individuals. In the case of crime in your home or business, it is not difficult to report the hacker.
a. determine which agency has jurisdiction over the crime. It depends on if the crime was committed at home or at your company and the address of that particular place. If you live within the city limits, the appropriate agency will usually be your city police service. If you live outside the city, in the County limits, contact your local sheriff's office.
b. call the non-emergency number for your local police department or the Sheriff's Office to report the crime. Ask to speak to someone in the division of the detective into a crime of Internet.
c. a hacker report online through the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). Strive to work directly with your local agency before declaring online.
d. to request the opinion of the Agency where you reported the crime. Ask what are the procedures they recommend to protect your computer from future attempts of hacking. Ask the Agency studying your crime to provide documentation in support of your case.
I hope this helps.

Security: Is it possible that someone hacked in to moniter what I write on e-mail?
When I write comments on the emails I submit, they automatically say posted in drafts, but not in my drafts when I check to see. Is it possible that someone hacked in to moniter what I write on these attackers? What should I do about it?
In Hotmail, your e-mail will be automatically save in the project as you write, if your browser suddenly closes then it save indraft, once you send then it will delete the project or if you discard email. If this is the case, this is normal.

Received a call saying that the license for my computer had been corrupted by a virus.
So about half an hour ago I received a call from a man claiming to be windows saying my computer driver's license starting with numbers ' #$@ "(don't remember figures, he gave me), had his 'corrupted some virus licence' (I think his exact words). I immediately thought that it was potentially a scam because I heard other scam type things that happen on the phone these days, but temporarily, I said 'ok' and he told me that they had tried to contact my computer and have been unable to do so and that he needed to look at my driver's license and give him some info to check that it has not been damaged. That's when the alarm went off in my head and I told him "that I currently have on my computer and it was very good and for him not to worry about it" and then, without waiting for an answer, I hung up.
This is the story, I didn't give any information other than that I was on my computer as he called it. I wonder if it was a scam, I just played it, and if my computer could potentially be compromised. I run Malware bytes now to scan my computer, but I'm always a little worried.Fake phone calls to technical support
Calls unrequested telephone of this nature are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.

Has anyone set up a trunk between switches PowerConnect 2716 and Intellinet 523554?
I have a client who has three switches Intellinet 523554 in the core switches and various on the edge, including a PowerConnect 2716 switch. The firewall is a Sonicwall, which is plugged into one of the Intellinet switches, and there are three new SonicPoints that plug in the PowerConnect switch. To the best of my knowledge, even if X 0 (LAN) and X 2 (WLAN) are related to the SonicWall, I need to keep these separate networks. If I plug them both in the VLAN 1, network crashes (I presume due to a storm of broadcasting). On all switches, I created 2 VLANS, left 1 VLAN not identified and configured the appropriate access and if necessary junction ports. Two types of switches use the web-based configuration and it is just not a lot of parameters to be set. VLAN 1 traffic goes OK on the trunk, but VLAN 2 does not work. I'm not familiar with the configuration of the Intellinet switches, so I sent an email into their support. Unfortunately, for the chutes, that's what the rest of the world calls aggregation of links, so I have no help from them yet. I am quite confident that the configuration is as good as it can get.
Has anyone else tried this and been successful? Any thoughts? The PowerConnect switch runs 1.0.1.07 firmware. Thank you
The marking of VLAN is the feature you're looking for, 802. q. 1, Page 10 of the user guide describes in detail the configuration of VLANS on switches Intellinet.

Last night I was rung by an Indian saying that my computer was in danger... full of viruses. They asked me to press things, and all of these viruses is appeared in a list. They asked for $246 as my Microsoft anti virus was expired, I told them I didn't have any money, but they could help me... I said that I could pay in 2 weeks. They asked a safety code 6 figures and I didn't know what they meant so they put their own remote control number and then took the remote computer for 2 hours. I don't know that I was scammed... they will ring back in 3 weeks for the payment. I can block them. I know nothing about computers so please do it in the "ENGLISH." What do you suggest me?
