  I guess if your recovery partition factory is win 7, 32 bit, it will restore win 7, 32 bit.

  I have a desktop Dell Inspiron 580 with Windows 7 Home Premium. I did a full system recovery using the recovery partition on the hard drive first where it erases all data and gives back to the factory condition. After the restoration, when Windows starts for the first time, he returned to the normal login screen requiring a user ID and password.  Why is this?   I understand that the system restore takes a long time to restore your computer.

  If the computer is blocked, do a hard reset. Press the power button for about 10 seconds. Once the computer shuts down, stop and try again and follow the steps.

  (b) click the Advanced Boot Options.
  (c) click Start Windows settings.

  (f) click about to restore during which the system worked very well.
  (g) click on apply, click OK.

  It's the reason for which you have installed the upgrade to Windows 7 and so this available isn't HARD drive recovery t more. You can use it on a preinstalled OS to Toshiba.
