Have several versions of ID CC on my Mac

I have to keep ID CC 2014 for customers who need this version. I also want to install the latest version, but I only see an upgrade selection. How can I keep my old version and add the new version? Also, I still have Mac OS 10.7.5. Should I upgrade to the latest CC? Thanks for your help.

You have to look for him, but there is an option to KEEP the old version instead of the default to remove the old version

If they were recorded at Adobe.com, sign in under the adobe ID, a number will be there.

If they were purchased in the box and unregistered, you need to find the number in the box (usually on the sleeve)

  • I have several versions of Firefox are installed?

I would like to install Firefox 4, but I also want to keep Firefox 3.6. I have test the web applications and therefore need several versions.

Is this possible? If so, what are the words of wisdom you can share on how to install 4 without screwing up the current installation of Firefox?

I have a Mac (OS 10.6) and Windows 7. I prefer to keep 3.6 on both, but only need to install on a 4.

You are 10 security updates behind - 3.6.16 is released yesterday.

Mac is only one version of Firefox at the same time.

Windows = install Firefox 4.0 by using the Custom Installation, in a single folder named option - as /Program Files/Firefox 4.0 /-don't let not run 4.0 after the complete installation procedure.

Create a new profile exclusively for version 4.0 beta and create a shortcut on the desktop with Pei 'profile' attached to the target to launch this profile.

  • can I have both versions installed and switch between the two

Can I have two different versions of firefox are installed and switch between them? If so, how do I set up.

Yes, I have several versions of firefox are installed. Firefox 3.6 is always taken in charge and course, there is the beta, the Aurora and the roads every night. I'm guessing that the other default channels install in clean places out there rather than overwrite your current installation, if not choose the custom installation option.

This is something advanced, generally used by developers etc.

CARE do not uninstall and take an option to remove personal settings, but that is written, as that attempts to remove all the profile data for all versions Firefox installed, you will lose the passwords and bookmarks etc..

Use unique profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data for each version, or you will have problems.

  • Webworks projects and several versions of blackberry

    Hello html5 developers webworks

I created a test project helloworld webworks using the latest sdk webworks. Now I have problems loading on the playbook Simulator .bar file, but using the dev alpha 10 Simulator it is no problem at all.

My question: I am webworks projects worked on all blackberry devices? What I have to have all versions of the sdk and build each project separately or is this something that will resolve itself once I have signed my projects and download them on the blackberry appworld?

Also, I have to use the command line to build my projects.

You are right. App World, you create a product that can have several versions. For each new version, you can download another file BAR and specify exactly which versions of OS/device/carrier you want to target with this version.

  • ORDS_METADATA & several versions of the listener

Can someone explain the requirement of ORDS_METADATA (also in the doco that is)?

The doco indicates that the user ORDS_METADATA is necessary. Which is seems to be, as evidenced by the autonomous ADR does not if the ORDS_METADATA schema does not exist.

I have 4 separate facilities of ords.3.0.0.65.09.31 on a server pointing to a particular database, and yet another server with a different ords.3.0.0.65.09.31 install pointing to the same database. All very well as standalones (restless) work.

On this database, select * from ords_metadata.ords_version; Returns a line, 3.0.0.343.08.03.

How to upgrade the version of ADR? I drop the ords_metadata schema and then allow the installation process to recreate? Assuming that the new version of the installation actually it creates in the 3.0.0.65.09.31 form (which he does not seem to do).

I think that it is possible to have several versions of ADR connections at the same base. Here, that I think that the ords_schemas table to have several lines, one for each instance of ADR that is running on this database. Or it doesn't matter? Am not in trouble because I'm not avoiding the side REST of things?

If we have more than one listener to ADR set up pointing to the same database, each has its own pattern of 'ords_metadata '?

We would have more than one listener to ADR set up pointing to the same database? (With the same ORDS_METADATA?)

    see you soon

    TeeDub

ORDS_METADATA is used to store the definition of the RESTful Services exposed by ADR, whether it's Modules of resources or of REST on tables or views.

The headings of table ORDS_SCHEMA which database in the database schemas have been enabled to expose a RESTful Services. So, if you enable the schema scott for ADR then a line will appear in ORDS_SCHEMAS for the scott schema.

If you are not using RESTful Services (for example you are using only the PL/SQL gateway) so you don't have the ORDS_METADATA schema in the database at all, but the ADR Installer always install the ORDS_METADATA schema, allowing the RESTful Services being goal ADR. RESTful services offer a richer, more flexible way to access the database on the Web that does the PL/SQL gateway.

You can not install several versions of the ORDS_METADATA schema in a single database. If you do not use the RESTful Services you won't see all the problems with the connection of several different versions of ADR to the same database, because the ORDS_METADATA is never as reference when executing queries from the PL/SQL gateway. However if you use the RESTful Services then you would encounter problems in the future as and when future versions of ADR are released and which depend on the ORDS_METADATA schema changes.

Check your Adobe account online.  If you have registered the software version should be shown there.

Never share your serial number publicly... anyone can use it.

  • If I have several installations of the software adobe, just remove the earlier version?

I bought and installed premium cs6 of production, because I need video editing.  I had already bought and installed premium design cs5.5 for photo and web edition.  Now I have several copies of some adobe applications in my folder of the application (e.g. bridge, Manager of extensions, Flash, Illustrator, Media Encoder, Photoshop).  Just remove the previous version?  Did I lose your custom (as in Photoshop) settings?  They both access the same files / file structure?  Is there an advantage / disadvantage to keep both? Etc, etc...

    My OS is OSX 10.7.4.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

They both access the same files / file structure?

N ° versions operate independently and therefore use etc. independent configuration data.

Is there an advantage / disadvantage to keep both?

Compatibility! Third party plug-ins may not yet be updated for CS6 (if you are using one). This aside, CS6 is full of bugs. You can not escape the mess that's After Effects, prelude etc since your CS6 versiosn are your only, but you may in fact be glad to have around CS5.5 to Photoshop, Illustrator, SOUL etc if something does not work in CS6... Do not hesitate to get rid of CS5.5, if you think that none of this is relevant.

  • Several versions of Mozilla Firefox on my system

Hi I run windows XP SP3 and I noticed that I have the Firefox 3.5 & 5.0 as separate instances on my system. Can I safely remove version 3.5? The reason why I ask is probably that your software would have removed/update older versions when you apply updates? Confused, please advise, thanks, Barry

    Hi Barry,.

I have deliberately run several versions of Firefox, but tend to be a version only Yes standard facilities and are often updated leading only the installation of a. Probably at one point you did a custom installation.

Pay attention by removing or uninstalling Firefox, it will offer to remove personal settings, or however it is worded, do NOT use this option, because it is likely it will delete all bookmarks and settings for all versions of Firefox.

Another idea is to make these two versions share the same profile , so you see exactly the same bookmarks and history in each version. (They probably not unless you or someone else has deliberately set up a separate profile, but worth the drive before you remove the old version)

So to summarize Yes it is safe to remove the old version, just use the XPs Control Panel uninstall option, but don't forget do not remove your settings.
