• Problem editing text fields since the upgrade to 3.5 + FF

  Since I've upgraded to Firefox 3.5, I had bad to edit fields of text, in some websites and in FF itself. First of all, I noticed this when I went to change the name of a Web site I'm bookmarking. By clicking on the blocked-out title must (and used to) erase the block and the position of the cursor, but now the only way to change is to use the keys on the keyboard (End, arrow, etc.).

  I'm having a problem of text of text editable in endangered fields after you export the document as an interactive pdf. I created the text that should be editable in acrobat with InDesign CC. I do not understand why this is happening because the text is there when you preview in the Preview SWF window in InDesign.

  STEP 2: Click with the right button on the image and click on "Interactive > convert to text field»

  STEP 2: Select the block of text, open the window "buttons and forms" and change the type as "text field"

  
  

  STEP 3:  Export the document as an interactive pdf. The parameter is set by default.

  
  

  Result: When I open the PDF in Acrobat, the text field is there, but it is empty.

  As far as I know, to have a form pre-filled text [I am Marie] appear in the text field, you must set the default value of the text field in Acrobat. You can do this by selecting the field property > Options > Default Value

• Problem of text selection in the text field for entry in the emulator

  I'm having a problem of text selection in a text field when I run my application in the emulator Playbook. Let me see if I can expose the problem here:

What is particularly problematic, that's what often happens, is that the whole scene moves upward on 10px when it is clicked on the ground. If I try to click on the same ground once again, another change to the top of 10px or so, etc..

  So why the text not properly selected and why the scene evolves upwards?

  I realize that more information may be required from me to correctly solve this problem, but if someone has all understand why this may be the case, I would be happy to learn from him.

  I can answer the question of displacement.  This is a bug in BB and supposed to be fixed in version «next» SDK

  The question of the selection, I'll guess has to do with the fileld with focus, selection is not possible.  Try to set the focus outside of maybe the text field?

  Currently having a problem of content publishing and collections. I get an "Update Failed" message that it is out of date. Also, when I try 'preview' to preview status bar passes through but then turns red.

  I created test medical records using pdf templates.  In these models, I placed tokens that will be replaced with the data.  For example {{patient_name}} could become 'John Doe'.  I have to feed in a spreadsheet with a number of patients in the trial and produce documents.

  I'm having a problem with Acrobat changing how I organize text.  Here is a sample of what I'm talking about.

  No, there is nothing you can do about it. PDF files should never be edited in a way and that's risky and prone to problems. This isn't really a good workflow. You must use form fields (although then you can not re-flow the rest of the text), or even better, apply these values in the original file format, before the PDF is created.

• Problem with text Photoshop with OSX Mavericks on Macbook Pro

  I have a frustrating problem with Photoshop on my Macbook Pro. "I can enter text without any problem, but the minute I try to edit it, resize, change font or color the totallt disappears and the layer name back to ' layer x" (whatever number it is). This problem has appeared since the upgrade to the Mavericks of OSX, but only on my Macbook Pro... he can't on my iMac 27 "that is running the same OS.

  I totally uninstalled all my CC Apps on Mackbook Pro, reinstalled Photoshop CC, same problem.

  I uninstalled CC again and reinstalled Photoshop CS6, same problem.

  This is despite having run the software without problem before.

  The Macbook Pro is a model in early 2010, has only 256 graphics... so can't run the CC 3D option, but there 8gig of ram... the only difference between the Macbook Pro and iMac in terms of specs is the format of different graphics card. (iMac is late 2012 latest version)

  The problem is I am a teacher and the Mackbook is my portable teaching... and I teach digital photography... so I must have Photoshop running.

  Any... other than total sugguestons clean reinstallation of the entire computer, that would be a total pain and extremely time-consuming.

  Turn off the speech recognition/dictation feature in MacOS 10, 9 - it causes problems for text editing.

  Captivate makes weird stuff at the moment. The worst is that it is not possible to edit texts.   I would try to put each part of the text in a separate text object.  Might make it easier to control.

  I used Indesign for years without this problem...

  But I noticed recently that many of these images (PSD, TIFF, or JPEG) that I placed in Indesign files are exported as pixelated, versions low resolution when I export for printing (PDF/X-1).

  I tried different settings, but in each case, the image (which appears thin and sharp as seen in Indesign) came out like a pixelated mess blurred.

  This seems to have started happening in the past months.

  Vector graphics are fine.

  Anyone else having this problem?

  Or someone at - it a solution?

  Also use some PDF parameters where resolution is not sous-echantillonnees at all.

  Turn off downsampling.

  And I would like to test, when you export to PDF/X-4 would make to the resolution of the images.

  Just to know, if something is fundamentally wrong with your PDF export feature perhaps.

I'm having a problem with the text in PSE14.  All text is type in capital letters and spacing is not correct - it is too far away.  I don't have to do anything fancy, just type normally and it worked fine until a few weeks ago. I don't know if I accidentally, you click a setting, but I searched everywhere and can not find out what the problem.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  Suggest that you reset the text tool, that only he can fix.

  To do this, look for a box with lines inside on the right side of the tool options bar. Click Reset.

  Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (Mac)

  > Uncheck the option use say [play processor

  > Click OK

  I'm sorry, but it is not possible to change the text in a PDF document using the player.

  You'll need to install and use the Adobe Acrobat software for the same thing.
