  • Having a problem with Windows Live Mail lock up shortly after the start.

Having a problem with Windows Live Mail lock up shortly after the start. When I start the Task Manager to end the process, it sometimes freezes and the only way to solve the problem is to disconnect which forces the profile to close. Assuming a corrupted profile, I followed the instructions of Windows support to fix a corrupted profile and copied all the files except ntuser.*. When I try to paste them into the new user profile (all profiles are admins), I get the error message asking if I want to leave to proceed. When I click on continue, all THE files in the profile block "corrupt" to the new one, including ntuser.*, that I was not choosing. Why? If the files are rewritten empty? Tried 3 times, same result. Please notify.

I think I found it! I went in the Windows Live Forum and found a thread that looked like my problem. He suggested going to msconfig and take off Live Mail list start. I couldn't find it on the list, but the top element was "" default EXE"something of an unknown manufacturer. I took it out of the startup list, and Live Mail works again! Thanks for your help!

  • How can I fix problems with my Yahoo hompage via Firefox browser

The process of normal browser, of course, is that when you click on the Firefox icon, it opens the browser and automatically connects you to your preset home page. Unfortunately I recently encountered a problem with error messages popping up and hinder the process of opening.

Special comment: he started to occurring at about the same time my Yahoo e-mail account was violated and spammed and I had to change my password as a start move fight against the violation of the security account. I am not sure that this incident is my current problem, but it is most likely related to the cause. There's still that should solve the problem, what caused it.

These pop up error messages do not occur when I use Internet Explorer or Chrome browsers, it certainly seems to be a browser Firefox related issue. I tried to delete all cookies, activation and deactivation of all Java plugins and extensions, change passwords, and nothing had no effect.

The first pop-up window is titled as, '[JavaScript Application]. Then he quotes my correct Yahoo user name and is followed by the text; invalid combination of name of user and password of "(My username)." If you continue to receive this error, try entering your email address as your user name. "

Note: Enter my email address as a user name didn't help either one. The user mentioned in the error name

message is the correct username as well.

    The second pop up says:
«We have noticed that you can have signed in or signed out in another window.» Click OK to reload your page.

Note: By clicking on the 'OK' button not re-sign in page. What happens is that it recharges the generic MY Yahoo homepage and then I connect manually to get my personally customized My Yahoo homepage.

I've since upgraded to the newer version of Firefox, but the problem remains the same.

If anyone has an idea on how to tackle this problem of connection I would be grateful of your.

    Thank you

If you have Firefox remember your Yahoo password, first try to remove that here:

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > Security > "saved passwords".

The message "signed on" seems to be related to the way Yahoo authenticates you. Some users have reported that the deactivation of the automatic detection of proxy solved the problem, and it also solves a problem have disconnected every few minutes, if you have never met.

    To make the change:

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

On the tab 'Network' mini, click on the 'Settings' button, then choose "No. Proxy" and OK your way back to.

If your working connection requires you to use a proxy server, try the option "use system settings".

  • I am having major problems with my emails. I can send emails OK but I can't receive them. I use Outlook Express.

I am having major problems with my emails.  I can send emails OK but I can't receive them.  I use Outlook Express.  When I first turn on outlook express, emails start coming, but then outlook express crashes.  I disable outlook express and start again. My emails are stuck in the Orange webmail box until the last email is downloaded.  This means that I sometimes get the same time to send four or five. I called technical support Orange several times, but they say it's a problem of microsoft. I use Windows XP.

original title: I can't receive emails from outlook express.

    Hi Mike,.

Make sure that you have not activated your antivirus software analysis of electronic mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 which is often a problem with receiving and sending a message.

Then, try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a new message store and a new registry hive (where all the settings and account info is).  Add your email account and see if it works very well.  If it sticks sometimes, make sure that you are not setting to check messages too often (like every 3 minutes or somesuch).  You can also try to increase the timeout for the server where this is a problem (Tools |) Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced).  See if who deals with issues "" OE gel.  If Yes, then you can use the file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

I do not know that moving to Outlook might solve the problem, because they both use the same mechanism to retrieve messages.  If you still have problems, come on and generate a log file and when OE freezes, which could give some indication of what is the underlying problem.  Make sure that you disable the log file later, because this file grows enormously and can cause problems if it becomes too large.

    Hello Bernard,.

You sign a document that has authentication based on knowledge, applied in it? If so, and if you can't go to questions, then you will need to contact the sender of the document because they can remove it and return you the document. You can respond directly to the e-mail received esign and happens directly from the sender.

  • Hi, so I'm having a problem with Adobe Acrobat 10

    Hello

So I'm having a problem with Adobe Acrobat 10. I backed up the files adobe acrobat and them stored on an external hard drive. When I move the external hard drive to a laptop I can open the acrobat files fine but when I try to open the files of the other laptop I get "Acrobat cannot open"file.pdf"because it is not a type of file supported or because the file has been damaged (for example. He was sent as an attachment to e-mail and has not been correctly decoded). To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. Then print the document in Adobe PDF format.

Both computers are laptops Toshiba Portege and both computers have Adobe Acrobat Pro 10 installed. I can open the files very well from one, but cannot open the exact same files on the other. I find it very strange. Also, I can plug the external drive into my iMac and open the files well out there and other different Windows computers. It seems that the question is just happening on the computer a laptop. Any ideas for a fix? Thank you.

For specific laptop - consider making a "repair" (under Acrobat help).

If that does not then that it would consider uninstall--disable-reinstall-active.

    Still no go? Try:

Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning tool - Adobe Labs

I'm having a problem with the photos on some pages partially to duplicate completely other tiles nearby. Only occurs with Firefox. The thumbnails are refreshed when I move the cursor over them, but again distort when you scroll the page. I have a few images, but cannot up-load them on this page of support for some reason any. Maybe I can email you if you need?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

You can check the preferences of network.http. * on the topic: config page and make sure that they have the default value.
You can restore the default user set prefs ("BOLD") via the context menu.

    Howdy Yaser of zoysia,

It seems that your screen displays some graphical anomalies when you connect to your user name. I would use these troubleshooting steps in the following article on the resolution of screens:

Restart your Mac in safe mode to reset the default display resolution.

If booting safe mode doesn't resolve the problem, reset your Mac NVRAM and SMC to reset the video ports on your Mac to their default values.

From: get help with graphics issues on external displays connected to your Mac.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.
