  I just bought a new laptop HP 15-r011dx with Windows OS 8.1. It runs a lot except when I try to watch videos. When the video buffers, all of the computer freezes, and the computer makes loud noises as the stuttering/chop. He made videos because of how many times it happens. This problem occurs on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. In addition, my internet connection is fine and I have installed all updates.

  If this does not help, I'd recommend a manual reinstall of the graphics driver:

  1. go into Device Manager, then graphics cards.

  2. right click on the graphics driver and select "Uninstall".

  3. restart the computer. This will force a new driver to write.

  It started a few weeks back & I couldn't solve the problem, I changed my Chrome. But I don't like it, so yesterday, I decided to go back to my fav browser: Firefox.

  But my problem is: when I watch a video, my browser always keeps freezing my entire MacBook. It starts with the video just stop but continues to go audio for about 10 to 20 seconds. Then I can't move the cursor and finally the noise dies and nothing does not react anymore. I can not even open the activity monitor, or do something else. So the only possibility for me to come back and do stuff is hard reset my laptop and start again.

• Cannot watch videos without it rewind itself.
