HDMI adapter

Should which adapter I plug my HP P7-1534, which has no HDMI port on my Vizio HD TV? Thank you

Franklin70, welcome to the forum.

Here's a HDMI USB 3.0 adapter to that should work for you.  There are two USB 3.0 ports in back i/o ports.  If you decide to buy this card, I suggest contacting the Service customer of the manufacturer to ensure that it will work for your situation.  That's what I do whenever I have a question about a product I want to use.

Please, click on "Thumbs Up +" if I helped you and click "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

If anyone can recommend a particular product (perhaps provide a link) that works well?

It seems that some people have problems with delivery of sound (the photo is OK).

BTW, I already have a hdmi cable and would not buy another cable (displayport to hdmi adapter).

    Get an adapter.

  • Dell xps 13 9450 (new version of 2015) produces no HDMI on tv or monitor via special DA200 Hdmi adapter

    Hello

So eagerly, I thought about buying this cool laptop you're looking for a huge $2000 I needed to output to an hdmi monitor TV ot if sometimes I could see movies as well, now I have to buy the adapter dell DA200 and in the last 3 weeks, it was a nightmare, I WAS NEVER ABLE to make it work all the time. Support cat was not usually simply resume to try to replace the part of help but I think the part is good and I didn't want to wait 2 weeks for it to ship from China.

Usb and ethernet services work on the DA200, EXCEPT HDMI adapter.  SOMETIMES it should work briefly until the next reboot, I had tried everything that ever available on the internet. The laptop is running Windows 10 (as it is limited to this version, I tried to install other versions with a lot of issues and compatibility problems) so I installed reinstalled and installed different versions of the video driver for all windowses possible and none worked. what worked was very brief, until the next reboot, and which is generally happened when I had a fresh install of windows, after the first reboot I get a non-functional hdmi again.

I tried several hdmi cables so I know it is not the hdmi cable or the ot the monitor tv. and nobody seems to be able to help!

Oops I see that sent my first post, even if the site could not...

Anyay... I talked to Dell Support and they put me to update the firmware for:

Enter your service tag and you'll find it under Chipset driver download page.

    That fixed it for me!

This is a known problem for the guy I spoke.

  • Mini display to HDMI adapter double link

Can I use a mini display HDMI Dual link adapter to connect 3 HDMI TV to a Mac Pro?

I never heard of a "Mini display Dual HDMI link.

There are double-ling mini displayport > DVI adopters as the double bond is required for DVI so a resolution higher than 1920 x 1200.

You can get the dispatchers who will share a single HDMI into two identical signals. You may be able to get one which divides into three signals. A power supply may be necessary for a this type separator

A dispatcher will give identical screens on each monitor.

    What model Mac Pro?

    What card graph (s) installed?

Want a different output on each monitor?

  • T410s - no audio via Displayport to HDMI adapter

A week after I got my T410s (Intel graphics only) I bought an adapter Displayport to HDMI. Video HD works fine, but no audio signal is transferred. As internal speakers work.

What makes me sad, it's like no other audio device Conexant Smart Audio internally to appear in the list of the reading devices. No device - no signal...

Device Manager also displays under ' Audio, video and game controllers' 'Intel(r) Audio display. The information box indicates that it works correctly. But what connection use this controller?

Anyone have any idea if the material of the 410 s (without dedicated graphics card) supports the audio via the Displayport? Perhaps only the proper drivers are non-existent?

  • HP Elite L2201x works only with my passive hdmi adapter? Always "standby mode".

    Hello!
My HP Elite L2201x monitor is still in mode 'sleep' when I try to connect it to my desktop Acer Predator with a passive adapter DisplayPort to HDMI. Computer can connect to the other monitors with the HDMI cable. Not sure if the problem is the adapter or the monitor.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and understand.

    If your computer has a HDMI output and the only entry it has HP Elite L2201x monitor is a DisplayPort, it won't work. Please see the DisplayPort.org faq page which States;

Q: I just bought a monitor that only has a DisplayPort connection. How can I connect to my computer that has VGA, DVI or HDMI?

A: there is not a cost-effective way to do it. The available adapters operate only from a computer of DP to VGA, DVI or HDMI monitor and not vice versa. If you have a desktop computer, you can buy a graphics card with DisplayPort. Our best advice: before you buy a DP only monitor make sure you DP on your computer.

  • HDMI adapter for xps 13 (9350)

I recently bought an XPS 13 (9350), and have a card DA200 (type c HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB3). I can get an image to an external monitor via the VGA port on the adapter, but not via the HDMI port on the card. I have the latest updates to the BIOS as of February 8, 2016.

I use the laptop for work, so need for Ethernet in the office and HDMI and VGA for presentations.

I read in other posts (in November/December 2015) an update of the driver of Type C/fell in love with the laptop, but when I search the specified driver, it seems more to be available - I guess because it was not in the latest updates.

I also read problems with another Type C for the XPX 13 9350 HDMI cables.

Does anyone have a stable solution to a HDMI/VGA/Ethernet adapter?

This undermines fixed after two days at the Dell customer service.

  • DisplayPort to HDMI adapter: no video

I have a Thinkpad T500 (product 224272U) model and vainly trying to connect it to the TV Sony VEGA model KV-34HS420 DisplayPort on the laptop to the HDMI port on the TV a DisplayPort-HDMI cable I bought online from an Amazon partner (see description below).

The computer recognizes that there is a HDMI device (i.e. a second graphics device of "digital monitor" appears), but I can't get any video to display.  (I know that I won't do audio - I'm not greedy :-))

My ThinkPad seems to have only the Mobile Intel 4 series Express Chipset graphics (I don't seem to have an ATI card, for example).

    All tips, hints, ideas?

    Thank you.

The description for the cable is as follows:

This cable DisplayPort have a small lock size USB connector, display bidirectional connectivity, optionally supported audio, superior performance DVI to double bond to 10.8 Gigabits per second and a unique micro-paquet that allows new features to display architecture. DisplayPort supports a maximum data rate of 10.8 GB/s.

    • All new brand GTMax high quality cable.
    • Length: 6 feet
    • Connectors: DisplayPort male to male HDMI.
    • DisplayPort offers fully digital (up to eight channels) audio support in the same cable and video.
    • Supports color depth of 8, 10 per component.
    • Code UPC: 084331496367

I managed to do the work.  I don't know which of the two things that I solved the problem if:

    (a) Firstly, I uninstalled the Intel graphics accelerator that I recently installed Lenovo.  (There is even a program essentially the same name installed - don't know what that is).

    (b) Secondly, I experimented with different resolutions as coronaXP suggested.  I got it to work with some of the available resolutions.

I forget (a) only because I believe that I have experimented with different resolutions earlier, but can not promise I made, then uninstall the new (but not old) Intel graphics accelerator maybe or maybe not necessary.

Thanks, all, for your suggestions and comments.

  • Adapter USB - C for HDMI for XPS 13 (9350)

I bought two adapters for my dell xps 13 and none of them work. When I connect the external display it lights up but then after a few seconds (or sometimes immediately) puts off and then again running and and so forth.

I googled for the solution and I think that the problem is alt DP mode that is not supported by xps. Are there drivers available soon to fix this or should I buy another card. Which one you prefer / is works 100%?

I solved the problem. USB - C for HDMI adapter for external monitor did not work because of the WIFI from Dell driver. All I had to was to go to Device Manager-> network card-> Dell Wireless 1820 A, right click 'Properties' and on the 'Advanced' tab and set the '802.11 d support (Auto-pays)' on 'off '.

Also, I did a clean install of Windows 10 and install only 'Dell Wireless 1820 A WiFi Driver' and 'Intel HD Graphics Driver. I have not installed all the drivers thunderbolt, and external monitor works fine with two adapters.

  • Need help to find an adapter for a third-party monitor

Hi all! I find myself in need of a little guidance, and I hope that someone out there will have a quick n easy for me...

I have a Mid-2011 27 'iMac. which has two ports Thunderbolt It is taken with a Wacom tablet that I use constantly, and the other is made by an external hard drive to a solid state, which has a built-in cable to Thunderbolt (no way to hang it on a different port). I also have a 27 "HP monitor that is currently connected via an HDMI USB adapter.

The problem is that the HP monitor is actual "jiggy" - the USB does not seem fast enough to deal with requests for the monitor. It is almost unusable. I know I should run it via a HDMI adapter Thunderbolt, but as I have already mentioned the two my Thunderbolt ports are already in use.

Someone at - it ideas? I need sort of three to two ports Thunderbolt hooks, but I can't seem to find anything for less than $300 that would work. (I am illiterate when it comes to the different cables, adapters, ports, etc., so I hope someone can point me in the right direction by using short words... Most of the products that I travel through list specifications that me Chicane).

The monitor has two HDMIs and a VGA port, and my iMac has a Firewire 800 port, if that helps at all...

2011 iMac have only 1 Thunderbolt port and there is no such thing as a Mid-2011, you must have an iMac of year later, if it has 2 ports Thunderbolt. All the 27 "iMacs, from 2012 to 2015 the current have 2 ports Thunderbolt.

  • HDMI to Vga 2015 Mac

There is no sensible way (that I know of) to convert HDMI to VGA and have everything continue to work.

I suggest get you an adapter Mini DisplayPort to VGA and plug on the Thunderbolt port (Mini DisplayPort is a subset of the Thunderbolt).
