  Where everyone was as frustrated by what I was, and I know that this exposes my ignorance but...

  1. in ExtendScript, F1 to open help.

  2. Select the product you are developing against in the help panel.

  3. Google what you want to do and, if you're lucky, you will find an object type or method name for try the search against

  (4 use the search help and I hope to whatever you hold dear that has you) corresponds to something useful and b) do not match too (both cases will cause absolutely no useful data)

  This will give you some (but very basic) syntax searchable guides... Buyer beware...

  Syntax guides do not, for example, distinguish (or provide details of) the difference between the IDS server or Office IDS and method signatures are different...

  Incomplete, awkward and a little difficult to use, but at least it is the documentation...

  My apologies for this very basic question: I am very new to Hyperion, with just one week of training! Anyway, I'm building a basic model and have noticed that my features are not in the dimension value roll altogether the [Contribution]. This means that entities do not roll upwards!
  
  It was suggested that problem was that I needed a Sub consolidate in the rules, but I put the attribute 'ConsolidationRules' = n. In the documentation it is defined as "N to use the consolidation by default and eliminations".
  
  I was wondering is there anything else that is needed to use default groups, or do I need to create rules?

  Why do you think that's not driving? If your building rules are set to "n" you don't need rules.

  Make sure that your presentation was made to IsConsoldiate. Make sure that you're displaying a "Parent.Child" to total Contribution.

• A related issue of the very Basic Editor

  Dreamweaver is considered a versatile HTML & matured, editing tool, but (surprise) I couldn't find a facility in Dreamweaver (as found in some free tools like Aptana Studio) very basic HTML editing.

  In the code editor, if I click on a HTML tag (as), the editor should emphasize the end tag, but Dreamweaver editor does not only? Am I missing something?

• Very basic question I think?

  Hi im very new to flash, but I'm looking to learn more about it, I tried to use the pre-built Flash components and I was just wondering where and how you can retrieve the values in the boxes checked
  
  I know how to check using the 1 box

• Pix 515E, VERY basic question

  I just pulled the thing out of the box and he turned on.

  I put it on our internal network plugged a laptop inside interface and went through the Setup Wizard.

  I gave the external interface a static address, said pat for internal systems (just the laptop listed above), and all seemed well.

  He already seems to be an access rule that allows all outbound traffic, but I can see something beyond the inside interface (192.168.1.1) on the laptop.

  I ping around the world since the pix, but the poor internal system sees nothing.

  I am very new to Cisco and am sure I'm missing something basic.

  Anyone want to help our a beginner?

  You can watch the traffic on any interface by applying

  the folloving command

  capture (capture name) int (interface name)

  through the show (name of capture) capt command you

  See the packets captured on this interface

  Example: I want to watch the traffic on the inside of the interface

  In capture tony type mode interface privileged (#) inside the

  then see tony snapshot

  In this case, you should see incoming ICMP echo packets to the laptop. (I don't think they come, I guess you don't have the road to the 192.168.0.0 network (or just default to 192.168.1.1 - and only road!) in your laptop). Try the road print on laptop computer command to check.

  ICMP commands in your configuration are not ACL commands, they control only ICMP join the PIX

  interfaces, no ICMP by PIX.

  So I don't think that you can successfully ping

  192.168.0.111 ICMP echo packets, but should leave

  the PIX outside interface and the response to the ICMP echo

  192.168.0.111 packets would be arrested to that

  return ping interface. This could be seen in

  PIX log (see the logg). You must start logging in configuration by

  conf t

  LOGG on

  LOGG buff 7

  You can also apply the capture on the external interface.

  To get the return of packages 192.168.0.111 ping, you must apply a list of access on the external interface of the PIX. As written in the previous post.

  I want to thank you for taking the time to write this easy to follow the answer. I went directly to the folder via the specified path, tire/secure the 2 files deleted and found I could enter a new master pw without any problem.
  I also read that this (and the previous) FF master pw modification is not allowed...

• Very basic: can I install OEM 12 c in a style "Database Control"?

  I would like to configure OEM 12 c for 1 a database of Test, but want to make installation as easy as possible and without as much control "Cloud" "tricks" for the management of several databases. A bit like the 11g Database Control / grid control.
  
  We are at the stage of planning the implementation of a 12 c OEM 'real' environment, but I wanted to get a jump on things with this little test of database.
  
  I have read the Basic and Advanced Installation manuals but haven't seen anything on a skinny/smaller installation type.
  
  Oh yes, I need to use the "silent" install method, as we have done for the databases.
  
  Pointers to other docs miss me are appreciated.

  Not really. You can install Database Control for 11.2 db, but it is not really comparable to the Cloud control 12 c.

• How to collect some very basic data of the visitors to my site

  I'm new to DW CS4, the learning curve has been steep but I'm getting the hang of it now. I created a show air site here (www.hollisterairshow.com ) that works very well. I was asked to add a few basic questions about the web site (you come by car / plane, what day, the overnight campsite, etc.). I have a project, questions at the lower right corner here www.hollisterairshow.com/index2.html , they are very simple and all I need is total indicating the sum of answers, no connection, without reservations, etc. Ideally, I would like to have a submit button that modifies a message of "Thank you", when a user has submitted their response and rest as a "Thank you" if they visit the website again. What I need to set up a data source or something for this, I have a hard time finding how to start. So, what's the easiest way to implement something like this?

  Need you still php is enabled on the server to do this, but you can simply add the data to a CSV (comma separated file), and then copy the file to your computer to display the data.

  The code would be similar to, (no error check, anti-spam or included in this example).

  In a word flowplayer offers the video through your web browser. It does so via the HTTP (port 80) and on any web server progressive download

  Progressive download concludes the video on the server and played through the player it is being downloaded. 2 important things to take this are 1, the video is downloaded to clients, at the end of reading's hard drive, they will have a copy of your video that they can do what they want and repost it somewhere else. 2, it plays as it downloads, which means that if I see a video of 10 minutes on your site and want to skip to the middle or the end I have to wait for the entire video to download before viewing these segments. Your host, incidentally you will love for progressive download because it will appear as if your transfer rates went through the roof. Once demand for the video made it has not returned back, the customer gets all if they watch it or not.

  Flash media server using rtmp Protocol. This Protocol is an open protocol socket through port 1935. Essentially, it's a two way street. When the user views a video using FMS get basically just enough video to keep the connection open and satisfy the buffer necessary to ensure a clean reading. Bytes of info that carry the video go only to the memory of the users, not the hard drive. This allows the user to come and go around the film without having to wait for all to download.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  first of all regarding the software my requirements are:

  (1) I have read a CAD or any vectorial image.

  (2) so I want to be

  (a) generate code for g and control through reader (what is conventional)

  (b) or direct control via usb (data lines). (I'm not sure about that, please help here)

  I went through the tutorial provided by the labview for control of the movement of the motor, but is it possible to make my way?
