• ISAM speed application issues since update to windows machines 7 (the opportunistic locking and SMB)

  I have a client system that runs an ISAM application, which worked OK on the SBS 2011 machine and windows XP SP3 machines

  The client has since upgraded its workstation to windows 7 x 64 workstations and ISAM application provider recommends that disable us opportunistic locking and also SMB v2 (e.g. force the workstation to communicate via SMB v1)

  We followed the steps described in the various sections of Microsoft KB (2696547 & 296264), and as a result still having very slow network performance.

  Then we found another reference external from the Microsoft site on disabling SMB digital signing, due to the use of SMB v1, and how that can sort out the problem with the speed of network problems.

  The customer had it since and it has improved performance, but it's still not at the same speed, as it was on Windows XP clients.

  is there a way to force windows 7 and SBS 2011 to use SMB 1 protocol and completely disable SMB 2, or we should create a new Member Server to use this ISAM application for sharing files.

  the application is integrated in the line of business customers to change with a huge expense, but the seller request said that intend it to upgrade applications to use some form of plan of database in the future, but it is at least 12 to 18 months away.

  I recognized the following problem when editing a so-called "Update" to a question by using the ability to change this update:

  The text is put in a pop-up without line breaks.

  For example, create an update like this (with line breaks):

  and record this using 'Add the update'.

  Then try to change this update by using the function "Edit":

  The popup "Edit note" appears with the text inside like this: 2line 1line line 3

  After that 'apply changes', the text is stored in the database in a single line (without line breaks).

• Animation of the Adobe & DPS application issues

  Recently, I downloaded the Adobe & DPS application on the app store.  It is mainly a showcase and an informative publication about how the Magazine industry has embraced and incorporated DPS in their creative process.

  I like the effect of the background of the image sharing two screens, so when the user goes to the next page, the central image continuously and moves left.  I managed to reproduce this effect.  My question is however on the animation.

  In the interest of those who have the ipad app, I refer to Page 19 of the production, in front, page directed 18 as Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, for those who do not have the advantage, mainly the central image of 'focus' scrolls to the left like the user enters the page.  There is a delay and then 3 bars of color, red, yellow and blue fly from the background of the central image to the right of the screen.  Text is missing in a downward movement.  Another shot at the next page maintains the continuity of the design of the arrows and melted bars in addition to text after a slight delay.

  I am interested in the technical aspects of this effect.

  In the workflow of InDesign, I'm uncomfortable with the scrolling of the image back picture, but what I can't understand is the following...

  1) are the screen filled in Adobe After effects or Adobe Photoshop animation then exported in the form of sequences of images or videos to load page?  No doubt there is an image of the poster, a delay that triggers the auto start animation then ending on an image rendered ending sequence.

  2) are compliant screens in InDesign, but the images of movement occurs in Adobe Edge to keep the size of the small file (transparent overlays like HTML5).  If so how do write you movie elements to match the background of the image?  Is superimposed on the bottom or each section independently positioned 2048 step?

  I can't post a screenshot, as I don't want to violate copyright, my initial view is that option 1 is easier since the design is contained in this application, but larger files. Option 2 is interesting, smaller file size, lighter app, but I'm not clear integration between ID and edge as the practice of positioning and visualization, because both apps do not visually bind each other.

  I would be grateful on the reflections on the best approaches for this purpose.

• Why can't I delete a facebook since the e-mail application account and people?

  So my mom just got a new laptop from Asus touch and I used it to understand Windows 8. WELL, I registered in the application of e-mail/people without knowing that I can not sign it if my mother can use their Facebook account on the app (apparently I can only connect to two services in the application of Messenger, just live and Facebook). That was before I created my own account on the laptop.

  The binding between a Microsoft Account and a Facebook account is not really occur in Windows 8 machine, but rather in the backend of Windows Live.  Can you not open the people App, arrived to settings via bar charm, select accounts where you should see the connected Facebook account.  Click on that and you should see a link to "manage this account online.  This link will take you to a page that allows you to manage aspects of the connection between the Microsoft Account and a Facebook account.  The bottom is a link to "completely remove this connection."

  I never had the opportunity to remove a link from Facebook, but I imagine that this link will do what you want, leaving you free to tie your mother's Facebook acct to its Microsoft ACCT.

• Style in mobile application issues statement (does not work)

  In a simple mobile Flex application, I have a simple view with a styleName assigned to a VGroup it contains. The decleration is in the same point of view (for the sake of trying to make this work, but it is in an external css, if I find a way to make it work).

  The padding, I assign just does NOT at all. Nothing. While if I specify in the VGroup directly is paddingTop or another style, it works very well

  Weird behavior.

  I use Flex 4.6/AIR 3.6 for the moment, he tried with Flex 3.4 4.9.1/AIR too, same behavior.

  Just realized that the padding in the VGroup aren't styles more but is properties. Damn these spark components

  I guess that's why, and I think it's a disappointment. I know that I could hack this, but condemned me!

• Flex Application issue?

  I created an application in Flex built with many components etc... My application is basically a questionnaire with many pages and after answers are graphically by a bubble chart.

  I fit my request in a 3rd party software which is a presentation player (who accepts. SWF files and uses the ExternalInterface class). I like my Flex to work on the player application is first of all when the player is running, my application will run by asking specific questions. Once the user has answered questions that they will have a "confirm" on the last Page that will take them to the table of bubble to another part of the player presentation for registration of results.

  My question is that my request has two pages of questionnaire and the bubble chart all encapsulated in a single application, is there a way for me to split my application in order to use questions and Bubble graphic separately as required by my presentation player?

  Currently, my application converts the results of questions answered in 3 main values, which are passed in the DataProvider for the bubble chart. Is there a way so that if I split my application into 2 separate applications, the 1st being questions and the 2nd by displaying the bubble chart, that I could spend the 3 values of the 1st application 2nd application so the graphic bubble could be shown?

  using modules may be an option. You can make a separate bubble chart

  module and questionarries separate module. Thne as your questionarries

  the article will come first you load Fürst and then load bubble

  graph in turn.

• Since the installation of Silverlight issues with shirts

  Recently installed Silverlight, then noticed the ICONS of folders by looking in my pictures - sought as sheets of white paper with the upper right corner, turned down?   I uninstalled Silverlight and now records look normal again.  Any ideas on that? given that I wish I had Silverlight

  I would install Silverlight, and then open the topic "Set default programs" in the Control Panel, choose your photo program from the list and click on "set as default" to make icons display correctly again.

  Suddenly, this morning my Xperia Z5 (E6653) a reconnection to behave abnoirmally:

  -No notifications are displayed for ANY application, even when they are turned on in the settings.

  -' Home' and 'These last few Apps' screen buttons do not work. They are pushable and produce a tick when you press. It is not a screen problem, but the software. "Back/back" button works fine.

  Tried the reset but no results. No software updates have been made since last week, not applications installed or removed in the last days.

  Haven't tried a factory reset again (don't ' really want to).

  I am under Android 6.0, Build 32.1.A.1.163 number, with February 1, 2016 security patch level.

  Any idea?

• Videos don't play do not (including recorde Whatsapp, videos, Youtube, Twitter, etc) since the iOS 10 updading

  From time to time, all types of videos would stop playing on my iPhone more including Photos videos 6s, Youtube, Twitter, Whatsapp and everywhere else. He would return to normal only with a reboot. Closing force all the apps won't help, switch networks, locking and unlocking or anything else. I have iOS 10.0.2 and all applications are updated.

  Looks like you already have a few to start great troubleshooting steps. Since force close your applications, evolution of networks and rebooting did not help, I would recommend backing up your iPhone, and then reinstall your software iOS.

• can application not available I restore the data from an encrypted backup?

  I had to get my iPhone repaired, so I did a full backup to iTunes and reset Once it was fixed, I have restored the backup, but a few apps "could not be restored. In the case of the one that interests me, the app no longer seems to exist on the App Store - I found a link for it from a review of old, but the link is dead: the app no longer exists. Since it is an application that stores data on the heights of our children, and I had used it for a few years, I would like to be able to recover at least the RAW files of my support, even if the app no longer exists. It is not a large amount of data. The backup is encrypted, so none of the files have names that are meaningful, it is impossible to guess what file is associated with that particular application. Any suggestions?

  If you have the app in the iTunes library on your computer you can restore it from there.

• Problems with Safari since update

  My son updated to OS X El Capitan, last week and since then, I have major issues with Safari. Safari works very well for about 5 minutes and then it stops just respond or takes forever. So annoyed. If anyone knows how help I would appreciate. Is there a way to downgrade to OS X Yosemite?

  If you have a TM backup before you upgraded, you can restore from, if not backup your computer and reinstall Yosemite.

  For Safari, turn off all the extensions you can have and test. You can also boot mode safe and test.

  I went through the exercise of the removal of Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 when I upgraded from the Mavericks to El Capitan.  I followed this procedure from Microsoft:

  I learned that this removal results in fact by removing thousands of files.

  My suggestion is, therefore, since you have Microsoft applications you do not use, take the time to learn to remove them and hurt.

• Dell Inspiron 7520 fuzzy applications after windows 8.1 upgrade

  I have recently installed windows 8.1 on my Dell Inspiron 7520.

  After the upgrade, the switchable GPU do not work, and many applications have a different (and fuzzy) resolution compared to the rest of the screen. All Dell video drivers (even drivers for windows 8.1) do not resolve the problem.

  I solved the switchable GPU problem, install the latest drivers video, taken directly from sites Web Intel and AMD:

  -for the Intel HD 4000: pilot 10.18.10.3277, 8 - 19.2013

  -for the AMD Radeon 7730: pilot 14.501.1003.0, 20/11/2014.

  This is the only combination of drivers that works (I tried many...) but the fuzzy applications issue is still unresolved. Look at the picture in the link below (the resolution of the screen is correct, while the words in the window are blurred).
