  I have a BB 8310 for my girlfriend. While trying to update to simply sync my music on the phone, I decided to update the phone software that turned into a disaster.   Well, the good news is that I was right. It's "mode of software program. A red light flashes twice every 3 seconds. But I had once the usb stick to the right. I got the phone to download the new software I'm trying to do in the first place. It pays to read everything in Device Manager!

  Hi all - I tried to figure this thing out of these last hours... and I'm about to smash my phone against the wall (of course, I've gotten nowhere with it).

  Here's the problem: about 2 days ago I noticed that my phone is no longer maintaining missing calls in the call log (the last "missed calls" are dated 3/22). Instead, what happens is that I'm going to take notice of the number of calls on my home screen, but then when I go on my call log, I see that calls that were actually sent or received and not those missed. Not long after that notice, the following message appeared: Eception Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException. Also, until this happened, I used to get a pop up after each missed call that would tell me that I missed a call and give me the possibility to display or dismiss the alert. Is no longer comes after he missed a call, so I think it's the functionality of java which was damaged.

  So I tried to pull the battery and all that jazz, but nothing has changed. At one point, pulling the battery caused the phone to give me some other errors of java and back to put on the original page of the home screen, but after removing the battery once more, everything is returned to my original problem. Only happened once. Today I finally decided to search online for a quick fix and I was thinking about something. I tried pulling the battery and remove the sim/memory card, then tried to re-sync, then try clearing the addressbook of device and re-sync, tried to backup everything, then checked more OS updates (mine is already the most recent)... and now I'm stuck. The only thing I have not actually tried is wiping and nine with a reload of the OS. I would really like to avoid this

  Also, for some reason after that the software update RIM has checked my phone for its version of the OS, my ringtone settings reset itself. Not sure if this is related to the java problem or just a chance to complication/bad?

  Does anyone have an idea what could have happened to my phone? It is literally out of nowhere, so you can imagine my frustration...

  Yes, you will need to remove the current operating system, and reload later.

  The software seems to be corrupted.

  Make sure you have the latest version of the software for your device and your carrier installed on the computer.

  It's the device, software, not the Office Manager.

  Once done, go to drive C: Program Files: common files: Research in Motion: App Loader and double-click on loader.exe.

  Once the Welcome screen appears, plug the battery in and click Next. When you see the PIN number appear after maybe a few minutes press next.

  Once he arrives at the device application part, select only things you need, uncheck all other languages, etc..

  On the last page before you click on finish, you see an option "EITHER", click here and make sure that both check boxes are fixed.

  Do not press the save option and select Finish

  This will fix the problem.

  Once you have set the vibration, you must apply the setting for applications of your choice.
  To do this, drag down on your home screen, then select Notifications. At the bottom of this page select Applications, then select this option so that is the app you want to request the notification. Make sure that vibration is selected for each application there is.

  "Tried to do my normal sync with Outlook on a Monday and all of a sudden I get Intellisync connector specific message ' error '."  It will not sync my Outlook calendar.  Save and others work very well, but no timetable.  Nothing has changed on my laptop since last synchronization successful Friday prior.

  I tried the online resource, but it tells me error associated with Lotus Notes and I have nothing related to Lotus on my laptop and never have.

  Hi guys, I'm very new to this bear so please with me I have a little problem, this morning I received a software update notification on my phone, it's the application of security Lookout software.

  I did download the software and be downloaded completely, when asked to restart I said yes.

  Now my phone turns on and it asks me to allow or deny permissions to the application, but for some reason that so that my phone never seems to be frozen, the buttons work but the cursor will not work, I can't do anything even tried to reset the phone but still no help

  Thanks for the info, I tried what you suggested, but all in vain, so I had to take the phone my service provider, they said it was a software problem and they had to erase the entire phone, so now I have my phone back but with zero info on it, but Lucky for me, I had done a backup sometime ago

  I just received my repair z3c (camera problem). When I activate the speaker during the call since there is no sound at all. The diagnostic test on the z3c works correctly.  I guess this sw related so but is this problem known by others?

  I've been playing with my new torch 9810 and now the battery seems to be draining like crazy (up to 10% after having just three hours hanging out, not a single call done) - and some programs play AND I get a message indicating that the camera photo and video camera are in use although I'm not using the.

  Is there a virus on this thingy? -How do I know? has someone hijacked my camera to spy on me?

  I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

  I'm working on an application BB10 requiring to be able to turn off the screen in the same way as holding it close to your face during a call. What can I use to deactivate and reactivate the screen?

  I solved this by adding a container around the outermost container in the hide/show of the container and QML file inside in response to proximity sensors readings.

  He has all the symptoms of a bug in Vix which has been fixed in version 1.8. When Vix tries to open a virtual machine on a system of video conferencing with multiple data centers, there is a race that could cause memory corruption.

  Update should fix the problem.

  I was running into the same issue with from the human task taskflow, after removing the call #{invokeActionBean.invokeScript} finalizer, it worked well for me.

• BlackBerry Smartphones locking the screen during a phone call...

  I'm just not see it or are at - there no way to lock the screen during a phone conversation? I continue to cut the call when I use my shoulder to hold the phone (Yes, I have a bluetooth connection and I know that that would solve the problem) but I mean the screen of my voyager locked when I was in a call!

  When I get a call, I unholster the BB, look to see who's calling, then reply with my BT (BlueTooth Headset). When I try to case the BB, the call is suspended. I guess its because the physical call and end keys are getting hit. Is there a way around this? Drives me CrAzY!

  In fact, there is a parameter which, by default, will hang up the call when sheathed.

  To change this setting:

  1. press the call button to bring up the keyboard.

  2. press the menu button, then select Options.

  3. select General Options.

  4. change Auto end calls: forever.

  The most basic level of service is what you're missing... call base. You need to talk to your carrier why your unit is not active on their network.
