Help. BSOD when starting Vista in Fusion 2.0.1

I just installed Vista SP1 Ultimate Edition of an ISO in Fusion 2.0.1.  The first time of the image, I get the BSOD.  I've included a screenshot.   My XP VM works very well.  It looks like a windows driver issue? I deleted and created an Image 4 times and it does the same thing.

Anyone have any ideas?

Whence the ISO Image?  He created from a DVD and if so have you tried to use the DVD instead?  If you downloaded it did validate it against the published MD5 or SHA1 sums?

Or is it totally Virgin market?

If completely empty, it may a hardware failure.

If under warranty, contact the manufacturer.

If this is not the case, contact a local and trusted computer repairman.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • BSOD when starting the Satellite C

My laptop crashed today, and because that everytime I restarted my laptop, a blue screen came, I talked to technical support.
He told me to do a HARD drive recovery I did. The laptop is still on as usual, but it too is windows service installation and stuck on the blue screen again.

Now when I try to press F8 at startup "repair my computer" isn't there.
Please help, really need to work again :)

    Hello

    > Now when I try to press F8 at startup 'repair my computer' is not there.
It seems that you didn't create a floppy disk for recovery in the past. Right?
Well, it means that you must order this disc, if you want to retrieve the laptop once more.

+ But back to the question BSOD: +.
BSOD may appear due to a software problem or hardware problem.
If the BSOD could not be resolved by retrieving the notebook, then I suppose that the material is affected.

In General, s for Toshiba laptop technician should check if the recovery procedure is not possible, or if something goes wrong after picking up the device.

In my opinion, the HARD drive and RAM should be tested at the first step.
If you wish, you can download the tool called Drive Fitness Test that would test the HARD drive. You can also remove one of the RAM modules, and it could test it in each memory slot.

When I tried to start in safe mode it put all these numbers and letter then it just restarts.

I was told to use my windows XP CD recovery but I don't know how to reboot from the cd. I press F2 at the beginning and the Red Toshiba logo comes up with these different pictures of the bottom to select and I've tried them all but none work

Please help I need this problem as soon as possible because this isn't really my own thanks for laptop

As far as I know it of not possible to start from a shared CD/DVD external USB drive!
Need an external CD/DVD drive with PCMCIA card that could be more expensive than a CD/DVD drive is internal.
So I recommend you to choose the internal CD/DVD drive, supported.

However, I put t know if you tried to boot from the CD correctly.
The point is that you must press the F2 key, but you must press the F12 key to get the boot on the screen menu.
Choose the ODD (CD/DVD) as a source of start-up, then attempts to boot from the recovery CD Toshiba.

  • When starting Vista, sound 'Device failed to connect' play 3 times, but I do not know for what.

When I restart or stop and start again, the "device cannot connect times sounds 3 times. I don't really have anything related except for my printer, but it is rarely.

    Hi Pretzilz,

I don't know if you're still looking for an answer to this problem, but I think I solved it!

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and I had installed Norton Internet Security 2010.  I decided to uninstall it after that trial was up and try Norton Antivirus instead.  I had also used the Norton Removal Tool and then these mysterious sounds "device could not connect" that occur at the start of my computer, just after the Office responsible.  He was literally driving me crazy because this is a brand new computer that should work just fine for most.

So I investigated further after reading your post on the errors of the device, and I decided to take a peek in my "devices and printers" and "Device Manager ' screens."  Of course, the old screen claimed that my 'Ultrafast media player' and 'USB2.0CRW' required for troubleshooting (a small yellow sign).  I tried the troubleshooting through this screen, but to no avail.

I went into Device Manager"through and under"Portable devices"my previously assigned different five of card readers had in small panel yellow symbols on them.  I went into the Properties window for each, and it says the following:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Apparently, the Norton Removal Tool damaged my registry.  So I called my Alienware support people, and while they had me waiting a solution, I found a Microsoft Windows support article, which actually worked:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc772156 (WS.10) .aspx

I went to each player who was in trouble on the Device Manager, click right on it, uninstalled, and then scanned for changes to hardware and the OS found once again, not reinstalled, no problem.  I rebooted the computer just to make sure and voila.  No sounds more mystery.

Oh - and I heard a total of five beeps at startup, but I have five disks pre-assigned.  I guess you hear three beeps, because you probably three drives.  I hope this works.

  • help with tabs, I've reset but does not solve problem when started

When started the new tab is blank and does not show the previous 9 pages as before. I went to help troubleshooting and then reset Firefox. It works until I closed Firefox well when I start a new session new tabs are white again.
    Help, please.

The icon of the grid 3 x 3 is on the page of the tab itself (screen attached). Simply, that shows and hides the thumbnails. In fact, I now empty placeholders. It erases the images?

Anyway, if you have the about: newtab about: config, but you do not have the subject: newtab page when you press Ctrl + t, the problem is usually an extension. You can review what you have and configure or disable here:

Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

    Hello

I wonder if someone can please help me with a recurring error message I get randomly when starting up. I have a satellite P30-110, with WXP Home SP2 installed. Mobile P4 3.2Ghz processor, 512 RAM, ATI mobility Radeon 9600/9700 series.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Make sure you have enough disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video cards.

I turned the computer off, then restarted when prompted chose to start windows normally, and it seems to start up fine.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hello

If this is the first time, you've seen this error, I'm not too concerned about it. There are not too many people who have not encountered this scenario occasionally.

The time to worry, if it happens regularly, as this may indicate a component defective that will need to be diagnosed later.

On this occasion, I suspect that the start process has detected an anomaly any (possibly a play on hard drive control) and rather than allow Windows to continue it stopped with the error on blue screen.

    Kind regards

  • Get an IRQL error when reinstalling Vista on a formatted HARD drive.

My (HP a1700n) office has been very slow, perhaps a virus. I ran Norton NIS and also had Norton disk utilities cleaner. Before that the Office stopped completely, I was able to shoot the important things (pictures, videos, etc) nothing else I could lose and wasted. I decided to start over and reinstall the Vista operating system, since I don't have the disk. Has gone so far as to choose the partition and after that he began to «analyze...» "it froze and gave me some kind of error that the partition not could not be found or something like that, well I deleted the partition with the recovery partition since I created a disc a new partition using all the available space, but now I get the not_les_than_ error message. I only go as far as to choose the partion and starts to analyze then the BSOD appears. I did not add anything other than a 1 GB of ram and I removed it, so now the computer only has the 1 GB it is came with, everything else is what came with when I bought it 2 years ago. I don't know if it's hardware related or I'm doing something wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
