  I would suggest trying to perform a restore of the system, prior to installation of SBC 2011.  I do not know what operating system you use, but included some links for Vista and Windows 7.  If you are running Windows XP, please let us know what version and service pack.

  Deleted file recovery can recover incomplete files, i.e. the part of these files may be missing.  Recover deleted files is much more reliable if recovery of a backup, instead of using recovery software.

  These things depend on the operating system and the file system.

  One thing, you can see: open one of these files damaged with a text editor, and then make sure that the constant % PDF is somewhere in the first 1024 bytes.

  It is a rare event, but I have a hierarchy 3 about 3 levels of depth of folders and albums containing photos I would like to delete from the folder in the foreground and an iteration completely to the lower level and all folders, albums and pictures are deleted.

  You must remove the photos and albums separately, because deleting an album does not remove the pictures in the album, it justeremoves of the album.

  I'm looking to remove (thousands of) unwanted duplicate from my mac photos. I understand that the Photos and iphoto share the same original photo file in order not to duplicate these and create more clutter on my hard drive. I also understand that the removal of a photo of Photos does not iPhoto (which keeps the image on my hard drive) delete it. Is someone can you please tell me if both share the same library? I see a library that looks like this on my HD: Iphoto Library.photolibrary. I thought delete the iphoto application and its library (after a backup) and working on the Photos application library cleaning to permanently purge all unwanted photo files. (I don't want to purge the photos at two stages of creation of the work twice). I then just use the photos as my main photo resource app and let iphoto behind. I guess my main question is, are there two separate libraries? And if so where can I find them in order to delete the iphoto library without harming the photo library?   Photos and iPhoto have different libraries, because the formats are different.

  You a reveal the current photo in the Finder library, if you open the Photos > Preferences. In the "General" preferences tab is a button 'show in Finder '. This button will reveal your current library, you don't need to remove.  Your iPhoto library will be in the same folder, unless you have moved it.

  I would like to make a backup copy of your library on an external drive iPhoto, before remove you it from your system disk.  This way you will be able to start from your iPhoto, problems library.  I would not delete the application iPhoto in the Applications folder.  Apple stopped selling iPhoto and I very hard to get it back. You may need it later if you need to detect the problem of your library that can only be fixed in iPhoto.

  (c) other PC and the device at home working on WIFI

  (d) the WIFI network adapter is Qualcomm Atherros QCA9565 802.1b/g/n

  The laptop detects the network, and I am asked to enter the key and it trys and advise network not available at this time.

  I looked to see if the adapter works fine in Device Manager (and assumed all good). There is no upgrade is recommended

  With advice from HP support I was through many loops, tests, and trials, restart modems, etc., included in the present was check it on the site of HP on the recommended drivers/updates, and downloaded a new driver

  Qualcomm-Atheros QCA9000 adapter, however it is not visible in the device only Manager downloads, not sure how truly "replace" the driver to see if I have better luck.

• Network questions and caused by the Apple TV 4

  My apologies for the long post...

  I bought a new Apple TV 4 this week an upgrade to ATV3. The main reason for this is to get proper access to my subscription of Apple's music on my living room AV setup - it would have been nice to get just a small update on the ATV3 to work well with Apple music!

  In any case, the addition of this innocuous little device seems to have caused all sorts of questions about my home network.

  I have connected the ATV4 using ethernet to my Virgin Super Hub, made the simple configuration via iPad and has proceeded to explore - everything seemed fine. Even downloaded the speedtest excluding interest and who reported a healthy 90 + MB. Made the usual check for updates and this 9.0.1 installed.

  First of all, we noticed the following aspects with the ATV itself:

  1. During the operation, she would bring "no network connection.
  2. By looking at the network settings it shows connected Ethernet but had lost it's previously that would deal with DHCP and DNS details
  3. It does not recover
  4. Just physically remove the cable disconnected and reconnected would force it to find an address - done interesting a different each time. Other devices on the network tend to have the same address (as is usually the behavior, I expect), but he may then lose later

The phone would see the ads these two WiFi networks, but on the selection or just would not get an address never (even with reboots, restorations, etc.), to the point where he thought the phone had a problem with the hardware (also proposed by the Apple Support). Other devices seemed (at this time) to connect OK, even more reboots to network equipment does not solve this problem. So iPad (already OK) my wife had the same symptoms.
