• With the help of VBA - check to see if Acrobat Pro is open on the computer of the users

  Hi all. I have an access request that generates a lot of single page PDF reports in a folder on the user's computer, then when it's over, it combines all files in a single pdf file on the desktop of users. If the user has left open Acrobat Pro before it begins to run reports, when it starts to try to combine the files, he will receive an error message.

  I would check if Adobe Acrobat Pro is open from the beginning of the routine, so that the user doesn't have to spend as much time regenerating reports yet. I was not able to find the VBA code that will do this. Can anyone help?

  Hello test screen name. I do catch the error and generate a friendly error message to ask the user to close Adobe Acrobat. The problem is, according to the criteria they choose for the report, it might take 5-10 minutes before you still see this error because of the hundreds of individual reports pdf it takes to generate. It is not until my code is ready to combine these pdf files they see the message. So, it is not really an error of execution, so to speak.

  But, I found the answer to my question and I wanted to share with everyone. The answers are found here:

  What I did, is to paste all of the code in these 2 pages in a new module of access. Then I made sure that Adobe Acrobat is loaded on my machine. I ran the fEnumWindows() void and it printed all my open programs class names. I got the class name for Adobe Acrobat, which is AcrobatSDIWindow. Then, I modified the select case statement in the following function, to include the Acrobat of the string and the name of the class:

• HELP PLEASE! My operating system is xp, SP3. I have a half finished email to complete & send, but I can't re - open my Outlook. I get a message that a "DIALOG" box is open & must first be closed and "BEEP"

  Please see title above.  This computer is really crazy.   Unable to open my Outlook.  Said dialog boxes open and must be closed before I open Outlook, but I can not find something open.  I even tried restarting the comptr.  PLEASE HELP ASAP!  Thank you.

  This dialog box means there is an open window (somewhere maybe under your enlarged window) which must be closed before you can reopen outlook.

  If there is no visible window I open the Task Manager and check there.  If there is not, you may lose any changes and restart to clear the error.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
  ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and

  As you don't have a recovery disk, you will need to get either a HP or a version of Windows XP OEM recovery disk and use the product ID at the bottom of your laptop (which, in my experience, becomes unreadable after a lot of used real turn).

  But, given that the keys are locked to certain media, should be an OEM of Windows XP (Home, Pro, based on your license) version. If you were to use a detail or the multimedia upgrade, it would not work with your key, even if it's a legitimate key.

  I created a dynamic array and I have 2 types of boxes.

  One is a check box for the individual lines that fills a value in a cell. Otherwise, it will be zero.

  Another is a master checkbox that activates the check all lines and value box

  Problem statement:

  When I click on the master check box, every individual is selected. However, the value of the cell is incorrect. Value of all the rows is based on the value of the first row.

  Another point to note, it only works for the table of data binding. If the row in the table has been created original, somehow the Table._Row1.count does not work. It detects that the value = 1.

  I have a question with the checkbox. I use Apex 4.0.
  I have 5 check boxes and using the Lovs I gave values for each check box.
  
  When I select the boxes to tick and submit, the values are inserted into a single column.
  Example of
  Consider the CB as checkbox

  CB3 3
  CB4 4
  CB5 5
  
  When I select CB1 CB4, CB5 databases it stores like 1:4:5 but, I need to be stored in format 10045. As if I select CB2, 3 5, then it should be kept as 02305
  
  The return value of the checkbox should be included as well as the other values not selected as 0s such as related in the above format.

  It should work now.

  Like I said before, you should use the new element (P2_X) in the process of page(process of CB_EXAMPLE line) as the concatenated numbers.
  So I changed the field reference column DB on the P2_NUMBER_2 and added to P2_X.
  Also, I changed P2_X to only textfield display(you can change to hidden, without security of checksum), since view only items will be unavailable in the process of the page.

  Most of your mistakes come join this code to an object rather than place them on the timeline occupied by this object (all errors referring to require a ' Manager on ").  So to remove the code for the object and create a new layer actions on this timeline and place the code.

  The "check DNS" was the question, which is now resolved. I changed my billion router to select the DNS address automatically, then the DNS addresses is entered in the phone of the SPA of my ISP DNS, selected "DHCP, manual" in the box, enter a hostname for my system, put my routers IP address in the domain box dah and the ti just clicked on the spot.

  I spent my VSP in the post and they recorded immediately.
