He didn't say what CPU, some said mid-range perhaps i5 may be good for me? 4 GB of ram and 500 GB hard drive is right for me? my new printer requires windows8 - 8, 1-7 - 7sp1 - vista sp1 - vista sp2 and windows xp sp3 32-bit. I don't I have xp and got a few things to work but not completely. my system may even not be 32 bit? calls also for an interface high speed USB. IM thinking only of connect. • Need help... New office which does not recognize the IP address

  I need help, my father, I bought a HP for Christmas to replace its old.  Problem is that I can't the computer to recognize the INVESTIGATION period, it says all drivers are working correctly, but still cannot connect either wired or wireless.  I have only addressed dells, it's my first experience with HP on Vista.  I need help fast because I'm about to go home and I would like to have him upward and running, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

  I recently bought a HP laptop, and in the first month, it was returned three times for problems and different issues.  After countless hours talking with the staff of the it Department got the opportunity to get a new laptop.  The only problem is that they do not have the same laptop I purchased available.  Mine has the following: AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual Core processor TK-57 and 512 (1.9 GHz), 250 GB HDD, Super Multi 8 x dvd = r/rw Double layer, 4096 MB DDR2 SDRAM, Vista premium (64-bit) and everything else he HP come with.  It's a dv2941se.  HP wants to give me dv4t with: (32-bit), 2.0 GHz processor, 3 GB memory, 320 GB 9200 graphics card hard drive, same primary super multi 8 x, HP HDTV hybrid Tuner, a high capacity cell 6, and then all the rest of the normal devices for the computer.  I need to know if it's a good thing and a fair trade.  I don't know what to do!  I don't like that they me downing to a 3 GB and do not allow me to get even a special edition.  Help, please!  I HAVE UNTIL MONDAY MORNING TO MAKE A DECISION.

  The T6400 is a processor Core 2 Duo is a 64-bit processor, which is an improvement of AMD. We have a guy who post here a little which I believe can work for AMD and he can jump in and challenge me, but the Intel Core 2 Duo processor is faster at the same clock speed, cooler, quieter and has longer than AMD. 3 concerts vs 4 is not really a big deal except that now you mix a stick of 1 gig and 2 gig stick and you will lose support for memory dual channel and Vista 32-bit vs 64-bit Vista will be actually more compatible software and devices, but is a little slower than 64-bit. I think overall you did a side passage or improving slightly, however, simply by the fact you get a current generation machine. The new laptops HP dv5, dv5 dv7 series beyond the problems that plagued the series dvxxxx. And most of the problems in this series were the AMD models. You may not use 4 GB of RAM, unless you get the 64 bit version of Vista, in any case, but it is better to have 2 identical, memory sticks so that it works in dual channel so 4 gigs is better even with a 32-bit of Windows that uses only 3. Do they not have to offfer you with 4 GB of RAM? If this isn't the case, you could update these days for like $25.

  I had a desktop Pavilion p6101f, upgraded to Windows 7, with an integrated Geforce 9100 graphic card. I want to install a discreet card to increase a little things. The HP support instructions say that the first necessary step is to "disable on board and select the right setting in the BIOS" by going into the Setup (F10) immediately at startup, go to the Advanced tab and then select the type of card being installed, which would be PCI - E. Problem is, there is absolutely no sign of the graphics options in the advanced options, or a different tab in my BIOS setup screens. So, what gives? Can I just skip this step and go directly to step 2 - disable the integrated graphics card drivers before installing the new card? Or do something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Thanks for the clarification. Your correct, it is just to delete the previous drivers and installing the card, then the software from the CD of EVGA. To 31W of power, the card has doesn't require any power plug (s).

  try to install new OS le.83.

  1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
  2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the amount of data you need to back up and restore during the process. Once he did load the new OS, it will reboot (it may do it twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with a hourglass up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization."
  If, for any reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply reconnect to the PC and run Loader.exe again and it should load the operating system on the device.

• Going to need help to get my new composition

  I use AE 13.7.   I'm very new to AE, and essentially I learned by doing, as opposed to the meeting through tutorials without end that does not give me answers my questions.

  So, here are my questions.

  1. when I open a new composition, I choose the height and width.  How can I know what they are supposed to be?   I guess I have to choose the dimensions based on the video I'm importing, but do not know how to find this information.

  2. once I imported a video file and hung out with success since the upper left corner in the main typing area in the center of the screen, I can either press the SPACEBAR to start my video or switch to the preview in the upper right quarter and press Play.  But once I get the video to play, he just moves along.  I noticed that as the blue indicator now inches along, it leaves a thin horizontal trace of green or dark blue line.  I have deduced that this has something to do with how much of the video is actually recognized somehow by AE, because if I try manually move the CTI beyond the blue or green line, breaks down the video.

  I guess that there must be a step or two that I'm missing here.  I think that the video, once imported into a new publication, would be immediately available in its entirety.  What I'm missing or doing wrong here?  Thanks for your help!

  Depends entirely on your target output specifications and your workflow. Of course we'd take a HD for broadcast television, other presets for other stuff. This may be the same as the input source, but not necessarily. Still nothing prevents you to create arbitrary comp sizes when they are needed for example to the compositions nested when creating the project. It is not uncommon to create for example compositions of towel-long /-wide for all kinds of scroll, Parallax and effects just panorama regarding the effects of particle instance can a model of aspect square small pixel size to be used as custom particle shape. Beyond what I said in the first sentence as there may be a definitive answer in marble.

• Buy the new iMac and need help to understand the new options

  Replacement of the motherboard of my 2009 end iMac is unaffordable, so I'm looking to buy a new one. But the 'talk' has my head swimming. I know I want a 21.5 inches and that's it. My biggest complaint to my death machine now it was slow. However, I attributed as uVerse (Internet) and not my Mac; Maybe I was wrong?

  My previous was 33. GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 8 GB, DDR3, a SATA 1 TB disk. I'm an independent publisher, it's full of documents, PDF files and tons of photos but apart from that... I did not use the design software (although I want to go in this area) and pretty much could have several tabs in Safari, Facebook, Word and Adobe open at the same time... nothing too taxing.

  So what do I need? I read everything I can find and I can't yet answer that question!

  Do I need a Fusion player (and what it is anyway)?

  What is the difference between a Fusion of 1 TB drive and a 256 GB or 512 GB flash drive?

  If I get in InDesign or Quark, Photoshop, will it take more RAM so I should just go with 16 now?

  In your situation, I would buy the 1 TB drive fusion, quad-core processor i5 2.7 GHz with 16 GB of RAM. The RAM is perhaps an exaggeration, but you cannot add it later these days so I think 16 GB is safe. You should get a noticeable performance gain compared to your current system.

  IME, most of the complaints "My Mac is slow" result of naïve users be swindled by adding the third "crapware" such as antivirus programs, "cleaners", "optimizers" and "extensions". After a report of EtreCheck for your current computer see if it is the problem.

  It is possible that adding an SSD in your current setup will give you the extra boost you are looking for, but if you use the machine to make a living, I'd be inclined to think that 7 years is old enough. Be sure to ask your accountant and covers the cost of your new machine against the tax.

  Please take the opportunity to review your backup strategy. When it's your life on the line, you must have at least two external drives for backups. Keep one off-site and on-site, and rotate each week.

I got a Belkin Surf and the reason why I got rid of him I thought I need a signal more stronger than I get me a new computer and add 2 webradios. SO I bought the D - Link DIR 655. WELL, that lasted 2 months. It is now to be replaced. Had yet. But because of their horrible and rotten attitude then called customer service. I am looking for another router.   Unallocated space is what it says it is: nothing.

  Normally, you right click on your existing drive > extend the Volume > makes a great.

  Or follow the instructions at the link above to make a second Partition to unallocated space...
