  Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a security feature that can help prevent damage to your computer from viruses and other security threats.   DEP can help protect your computer by analyzing your programs to make sure they use the memory of the computer safely. If DEP notices a program on your computer using memory incorrectly, it closes the program and notifies you.

  Microsoft does not recommend disabling security DEP settings. But still if you need, you must be an administrator to disable the DEP settings.

  You can use the following parameters to change data execution prevention settings.

  Hi, Brian (Brian Roberts, second player goal o, right?) and welcome to the Community Forums of Palm.

  To transfer your data from your desktop, if you have been synchronize your T3 with M$ Outlook you should already be set, since the devices Windows Mobile to Outlook synchronization.  If you use Palm Desktop to synchronize, you will have to migrate the data to Outlook first.  Go to the Knowledge Base of Palm and enter 25263 Solution for the article on how to do it.

  Migrating from an old MAC to a new MAc used to be so easy is not on this new MacBook PRO running OS 10.11.x.  Migration of files on any media (wired Ethernet; and then the shot of lightning; then on wifi), ended before the migration complete, gave no indication of what the transfers succeeded, which offended the migration file or where to take them back. Wifi, ironically, was the closest to success!  But not a big success!

• The terminal commands/help shell initialization files

  A few days ago, I opened the terminal on my MBP and tried the help command. Here, I tried ls help. I was expecting to get help for the command ls, but I got this instead:

  I know that ls , it was just try random commands on my terminal. However, after some searching on Google I realized that some people had similar problems with some commands doesn't work is not on the terminal. And most of the problems appear to be related to the shell initialization files.

  Orders randomly won't work. You must enter commands that make sense. "ls help" is a command to list a file named 'help' in the current directory. Since there is no file, all you get is an error message. If you want to learn how to use the shell, I suggest you only begin by reading a book or a tutorial online. I don't have a specific recommendation.

  cssauth.exe is related to the Client Security Solution.

  Step 1: Try disabling startup cssauth.exe in the configuration of the system.

  Here's how:

  1. click on start > run.
  2. type msconfig and press ENTER.
  3. click on the Startup tab.
  4 locate cssauth.exe, and clear the check box for this.
  5 restart the computer and check for the issue.

  Step 2: If you still get the same error at startup then perform the clean boot on the computer.

  From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

  I edited a linked picture by double-clicking the form and image in the toolbar links to edition, but now I can't leave the group to pursue the rest of my paper edition.

  All the rest is washed out! A double click of the canvas does nothing, there is no small "arrow" at the top left, most of the options of the menu of the object is gray...

  I'm totally stuck here!

  Update: I think I solved the problem... my drawing layer had become sort of the base layer to another layer. No idea how - did not deliberately make!

  What that it either - by pulling it until its own layer everything fine.

  Never seen that before but.

• Help understand the File Formats

  I need help with the file formats.  Is there an alternative to EPS files which allows customers to use vector graphics files in their projects?  My client has a graphic logo vector she wishes that the background is transparent and the clarity of the vector illustration, rather than a Jpeg file.  I read here that EPS files are becoming obsolete, but do not understand what it replaces.  I know that SVG files can be used, but I thought that the user could use Adobe software to open it.  Can someone please help me understand what file formats are best for logos?

  For users of Illustrator, the preferred format is a simple Illustrator .ai file. The default options when registering as an Adobe Illustrator file include the incorporation of a PDF file in the Illustrator file. This means that the data is stored twice: once as an Illustrator fully editable file, complete with live effects, links to the placed art, layers, etc. and once in PDF format that can be read by many programs, including InDesign, Photoshop, Apple Preview, MS Word, Adobe Reader and many others.

  If you only use Adobe programs, there is no reason to save the Illustrator EPS file. If you need to transfer your Illustrator files to another program, you must maintain with the limits of this program and its import options, which can mean saving in EPS format. If you work in a non Adobe drawing program, such as CorelDraw, but yo I want to convert your Illustrator illustrations, then the same restrictions apply. Try to save as many formats, including the native format of the program, PDF, EPS, and Illustrator. Open each in Illustrator and use the file kept more modifiable information, such as layers, text, and related files.

• migrate the file to the Storage Server 2008 Server

  As a result of a server crash, I was forced to temporarily use a desktop as a network file and print server.

  I installed W2K8 and saved the folders and files recovered from the wreck of the original server, which had been virtualized using VMware.

  I downloaded from my Windows laptop, 10 some Excel 2016 files in Microsoft OneDrive.

  When I try to open these files on my 12.9 "256Go LTE iPad Pro I get the following message from Office 365 Excel:" content not supported this document contains content not supported. " To modify a copy with this content, double tap.

  This happens regardless of what file download. Is there a default setting in my PC Excel file that causes this error? What can I do to prevent this?

  As soon as I get to a place where I have 4G LTE, I'll try to upload a blank Excel spreadsheet to OneDrive and try to open it on my iPad Pro.
