• Problem of color transformation

  I use ColorTransform to a few objects with no problem, but for some reason any one that I now work he keeps throwing the error "Implicit Coecion of the value of type to an unrelated type flash.geom:ColorTransform number."

  There is only 1 real difference, and it's the current object has an animation MC (several images) it contains.  But removing it still gives the same error so I have no idea what could be causing the problem.

  For some reason he disliked: ColorTransform = new ColorTransform();  Removed the 'new' ColorTransform() and it works fine now.

  I don't know why this code would work, at all, because your Builder IS trying to force a colortransform to a number:

  var ct:ColorTransform = new ColorTransform (this constructor can accept, until, 8 numbers - but in no case a colortransform would work here).

  However, if you explicitly cast a colortransform, this should work:

  var ct:ColorTransform = ColorTransform (whatever.colorTranform);  assuming that everything that is a displayobject non-null

  Hi, some of the new pantone more colors are not available in my library of books of color Illustrator. So, for example I am trying to select a new pantone color: 2368 C and it does not appear in the library as a sample. Anyone know how to upgrade if I can see all the new colors? It makes me crazy - plfacilitate help!

  You can get the Pantone Color Manager, which is free when you use the serial number in your address printed samples (on the second or third page) and then select the library you need.

  Or you can download the free 30 day trial of Pantone Color Manager and add the libraries from here.

  Here is where to put them:

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2015\Presets\en_US\Swatches CC.

  I try on the creation of this project of type collage with three different letters using the three primary colors of color (in my case, red-green-blue), and when the letters overlap, I need the colors created to act, magenta and cyan. I have three distinct layers with each of the letters on them. I'm new to photoshop and have been trying to figure how to do this. I have attached some samples to try to show what I'm looking for. The second photo was a screen mixture applied to my bed with the Z, but the rest Z disappears, except where A button. This effect of magenta, is what I'm after. How can I get this same effect, but with the rest of the visible Z?

  

  

  Hello Zach,

  You can do what you want that way. The blending mode to use is linear Dodge (Add). But what really makes work

  holds the separate background letters. If you create a group for the letters, but make sure your

  background of the composition is outside this group. You assign the group itself a normal blending mode.

  Don't worry about the effect of grinding, I did it just to make it more visually interesting, but its not needed.

  Assuming you placed a table in your document and your CSS Designer Panel is open

  I'm new on Photshop and difficulties to do that I suppose to be a pretty simple job.  I have pictures black and white that I need to convert in two colors.  I've done enough easily before in other programs.  (The drawings in the headers of the pages of this Web site, www.coggeshallfarm.org, I converted using the feed to color breastfeeding in Paintshop Pro.)  I use the replacement color to change black and gray, but they are sitting on a white background that I can't replace.  I don't know there is something obvious that I'm missing.  Any help you can give would be great.  Thank you

• Need help coding Coloring Book App in AS3

  I'm working on a project for school and I'm having a lot of trouble at the moment. I can't figure out exactly how to start coding for a coloring book type app. I read through about 6 different tutorials for this type of project, and can't seem to get anything to work for me.

  I drew the outline of the image, I want to be colorable and converted the outline into a symbol. I also have each separated colorable, it's own symbol as well. In total, I have 67 different colorable areas + contour. I've created a palette of colors for the user to select institutions.

  When it comes to coding for all this work, I'm completely lost. If someone could help me get started and point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!

  If your object has already a colorTransform assigned, you can use its color property to access the colors of the object.  otherwise, you must use the bitmapdata class (first of all the draw method to create a bitmapdata example using your object then getPixel and getPixel32).

  Hello. I am part of a group of volunteers who give their time to support children with disabilities. The local centre were voluntary we recently received a donation of computers specially designed for children. The team and I thought appropriate activities that could be done on the computer.

  We came up with the idea of having a coloring book interactive were children are able to choose between different colors and customize fundamentally different characters and objects.

  We have a trip to Disney Land Paris coming in February and decided to try to use it as a theme for some activities.

  The idea we came up with is a book coloring Disney interactive.

  Now, I'm no Wizard on the computer but did my best to create using flash. (It is because if we create it ourselves we will be able to change it so suit needs)

  So far, we have been able to get a background etc for the coloring book with speaking of Disney characters, but I'm having great difficulty to do the coloring of the Disney characters.

  I was wondering if someone here would be able to help?

  I tried to use the many guides, but seems not work for me.

  The goal will be to make a number of charters in the book, but if we are able to get a finish we should be able to use it as an example and create our own.

  In the library module, click the attribute in the library filter tape.  You can then click the color that you want to filter.  When you want to display all your images, click None, which indicates that you do not want any which filter.

  I am building an application face smile.
  When you choose a menu "movieclip" and an object or an element is placed on the floor. You can drag and drop the object, take it in the Recycle Bin and change the color on any one of the objects on the stage at any time.
  I have 2 problems I am looking for advice on.
  1. the code I use to change the color of the object is large.
  As it is, depending on the amount of items you have in the menu,
  the code could reach a painful amount makes it difficult to manage.
  I'm looking for a way to better my existing code, opting for a more advanced method there.
  I have attached my code here.
  If someone could help point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

  Try something like that. Use a set of tables to track parts, colors and their values so you can do everything in a single short function.

• CP1515n: Need help with color CP1515n landslide

  Can someone shed some light on this...

  I have a CP1515n laser printer, connected by Ethernet to Yosemite iMac running.  Printing from Acrobat or InDesign CC produces the same results...

  Whenever I have print on something else that plain paper, ink is drag across the page, as if it hadn't melted.  Used paper is HP Professional Laser Glossy 200 g using authentic HP inks.

  

  In the printer section of the print in the Finish dialog box I select HP Brochure Glossy 200g, also tried on hardcover glossy 176-220g.  Is this a problem with the printer itself or the software?  I did a factory reset and still the same result.  Close to throw it out the window and buy another brand.

  I see that you are having problems printing on photo paper. But printing on regular paper print very well. I will do my best to help you.

  Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.

  On the printer, press OK, the arrow for reports, OK, then arrow to demo page and press OK.

  In the same menu on a simple sheet of paper, print the status page to provide.

  Yosemite drivers are installed by the Apple updates. Install a printer driver Mac using Apple Software Update.

  Check the name of the driver that is installed by the printer. Make sure that it shows just the name of the printer.
  Click on the Apple menu, click System Preferences. Click on Printers & Scanners, highlight the name of the printer on the left side and right side of the screen it should show the name of the printer. (Laserjet CP1515n)

  If the full name of the printer is not correctly, delete and add the printer name back from the list. Click on the sign - to remove the driver and then click on the + sign to add the driver might have to drop-down list to select the name of the printer to add a click.

  

  

  Try to print again.

  Try another type of photo paper to see if you have the same results.

• Help with color screen printing separations.

  When creating colors for screen printing separations, how is my chassis, even if my forms are filled, and they look like contours? If I turn the top offshore layer, they appear very well. I have attached a picture of what it looks like.

  Your other layers are knocking out our chassis. You must move your frame to the top of the layers palette and set to overprint.  It would look strange on screen, but it's the only way to keep the other colors to interfere with this layer.

  -I wish there was a framework that would allow an object to ignore the knockouts by other objects.  It could be called Underprint, and it allows files like this to be intuitively bunk and work again properly.
