Help - p7-1020 card connection usb mother removed - how to connect properly?

I have a p7-1020 new just put 16 GB of ram, and in the process, ripped the double USB port on the motherboard. They have 1 standard connection (with most of the sons of these two gray usb cable internal to the ports on the front) and a second - two pins (one black wire from each cable usb) - hell whence the second cable go? Don't even want to power up without a definitive answer. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

man, I feel stupid...

Your p7-1020 has the same casing and motherboard for my new p7-1026. I opened his case to update the graphics card today and saw the cable connector / you are referring to. The small connector 2 pin does not go anywhere... it just hangs there.

  • Need help solving any internet connection. This happened to me several months ago and the supplier

Need help solving any internet connection. This just started today, but it's happened to me several months ago and at that time the provider thought it was software related and suggested that I have to contact HP. I have a HP 2006 m7674n, Windows XP. For several days, I worked with HardBeatZ on a different issue that has been resolved today. However, for several days, I had been working msconfig to track down the cause of the problem; This resulted in several reboots the computer - this would have something to do with it? Also, I just started getting a RUNAS box popping up. HardBeatZ has provided a link to a possible solution to this, but since I can't do internet connection I can't get the fix. Right now I'm on a laptop with Wi - Fi for the same service internet/modem as my PC. I changed nothing onmy PC in the last days of several for the internet connection or services.  I always use eithernet connection from the router to the computer. I tried Wi - Fi today with my PC but not connect. I tried to unplug the router and reconnect but it does not solve the problem. I did a Network Diagnostic and printed the report; Here are the warnings and error messages in this report:

    1. under the terms of the bridge diagnosis; Warning: "www.microsoft.comcould hostname not be resolved (0x2afc error code). Could be the gateway or DNS problem.

    2. under diagnosis of layer IP; Corrupted IP routing table. Default route, road closures, route host itinerary local subnet and local are all valid; Invalid entries in the ARP cache. ACTION: the ARP cache has been emptied. »

    3. UNDER HTTP, HTTPS, FTP Diagnostic; all three had this warning: ' 12007 connection error at www.microsoft.com: the server name or address cannot be resolved. " and the error was unable to establish a connection.

Still under network adapter diagnosis; It shows the connection status of network as "connected."

Also, I have an older computer that I connected with eithernet and was able to connect to the internet but has been disconnected because the version of Windows is too old to support the connection. But I could briefly connecting on HP website before you log out. The point being I think it's a computer problem and not an internet router or provider problem.

I read a few entries on this site and it seemed that the recovery of the system was the only solution. I hope that there are other things to try before I resort to that.

I would appreciate any advice on the steps to diagnose the problem and insight as to what may have caused this to happen. Thank you. dt2012

    Sorry... still with you... OK, we know that your network card is good and we know that your first post;

    Hi sean2sun,

It seems that the player is not correctly recognized.

What is the operating system installed on your computer?

However, try to disconnect and reconnect the Walkman on computer. You can also try plugging it into different USB port of computer.

NOTE: Connection to the USB hub is not supported. Walkman should be connected directly to the USB port on the computer.

Try the following. It seems yo may have to let the battery drain is completely:

    - iOS: do not respond or does not light

-Also try DFU mode recovery mode post-test

How to put iPod touch / iPhone in DFU "Karthik doodles."

-If failed and that you cannot completely turn completely the iOS device, leave the battery to drain completely. After loading a hour repeat the foregoing.

    -Try a different cable

    -Try on another computer

S ' there is still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at an Apple store Genius Bar is in order.

  • Card connection and Camcorder FireWire PCMCIA - Equium L20-197

Tried to add 2 different cards using 1394 firewire cardbus. Each card has been recognized and reported as working properly. Every time when I tried to connect to a Sony DVcam, the software reported there is no connected camera.

I know that the camera, cables & software are OK - tested with another Toshiba laptop with a built in 1394 port.
I did something wrong? Does anyone have an experience with a card, they know works in this model?

    Hello

Sorry, but if the card is correctly recognized that there must be a problem between the card and cam. Try to contact the card manufacturer support. They have more experience with own products.

  • NB100 no usb not power - how to reset

The NB 100 has 2 usb ports on the right side. I tried plugging in an external cd drive and got a box with red indicator of the background task bar indicating something on the device of drawing too much power and that the supply would be stopped.
Since then the usb ports 'appear' dead. Nothing I plug is recognized by the NB100.

It is said in the user's manual if it is found an overload of the power to the usb ports can be stopped. However, it does not say how to reset ports IE power to 'em.

The card reader and the usb port on the left front work yet.

I tried the update of the BIOS to the latest 2.10, affecting all the parameters of the default bios with F2 at startup and even bought "Device Driver" to make sure that all drivers are up-to-date.

Can anyone help? I don't know there is a simple answer but just don't see it.

Ideally, I would like to avoid having to reinstall XP because I do not have the disk and the hard disk does not appear to have a XP partition.

    Help!

    Hello

In your case, I recommend to remove the /hub of /controller of the USB port on the Device Manager.
Simply go to the Device Manager, expand the area of USB controller and remove all the devices that are available in this area.

After restarting again, the system (Win XP in your case) should recognize the USB ports and the driver must be installed again.
Then restart once again connect a USB device and check if it can help

Just for info: USB 2.0 ports provide 500mA so in some cases the external USB device would not detected when this device would need more than the usual 500mA. In this case this device must be connected to two USB ports using a USB Y cable or use an external power supply, as do some USB hubs.
